No problem with Tentworld but you should change couriers. Toll have been of no use and have now lost one of the packages. Their communication is poor which has meant that on the first two occasions we were not home. An attempt to schedule a time for delivery using their online system twice didn’t work despite having a confirmation number.

Im sorry, but received part of my order, but was short. They advised me that as soon as it was in stock, it would be sent out, but still hasn't even though its available on line now.. Still haven't received an email regarding it and have no idea where it is or when it will be delivered..

Freight costs to WA were added at checkout. On line site had definitely quoted Free Delivery. Trickery at its Best. Order Cancelled.

Went into Tentworld Brendale to pick up my order and was treated with complete indifference, i was using afterpay for the first time and it was not working, so i asked for help the young lady just shrugged and would not even look at me, i finally just payed for it and no apology eventhough i was clearly dissapointed and annoyed. Wont be back.

Didn’t deliver two of my three items, Then offered to replace but items subsequently out of stock for months despite me being able to find them in store?!. Major hassle. Duplicated answers and slow customer service. Not impressed

Extremely poor service. Staff were more focussed on unloading pallets. If you want to sell product from the pallets you need good customers. You need to give service to clients. Not having the person at the front counter sitting on the laptop.

Wouldn’t refund ! Any store that doesn’t refund will never get my money. Purchased item as present, wasn’t suitable, yet you don’t refund. First and last time. Would never recommend your store. People need flexibility

I had a very poor experience buying from Tentworld. I purchased the below water heater. When I got it home I had problems with it turning off inexplicably. I called the store and spoke to the staff member on the same day that I purchased the unit, who called the manufacturer. He called me back and told me to return the unit to Tentworld for a replacement. I returned in a few days later, and spoke to the store manager. He told me (contrary to the staff member I spoke to) that he had to test the unit. I left it with him, and received a phone call later in the day saying that the unit had to be sent back to the manufacturer for "adjustment". He insisted that he could not refund or replace before the manufacturer had inspected/fixed the unit. He suggested that I could call them to discuss this. I called the manufacturer, who told me that they had tried to walk the manager through the adjustment over the phone. They told me that he had over-tightened the screw and damaged the o-ring inside the unit. The manufacturer had offered to fix the unit. I called back the manager and asked him to explain why he had failed to mention that he had damaged the unit, and had not told me the truth. After getting off the phone, I received a call from the manufacturer, telling me that they had authorised a replacement unit. I still don't know what the outcome was in terms of the damaged unit. I picked up the unit and adjusted the unit with help from the manufacturer over the phone. Unit is working perfectly. I had a really poor experience at Tentworld. I understand that mistakes happen, but don't like being lied to about what is happening.

It obvious that there is a great call for online sales and that seems to be the focus, but this seems to effect instore sales service. The sales were very poor and I will be going elsewhere next time. There is no point in putting all your focus into unloading pallets if your customer service is effected. Leaving a guy at the front desk who is Just interested in online tells me that you are not interested in face to face sales. I will go somewhere else next time.

Worst service i have received in a long time.staff dont seam to reliase its a very competive market. No option given to get out of stock product until i asked. Stock was in wharehouse. I rang a week later and was told it whad arrived.no phone call. Went to strathpine to pick up. Walked in .not acknolaged at counter.asked salsman 10 min. later for my order.handed the product and walked away.no thankyou.nothing.he just walked away. SO RUDE.

Very painful customer experience. Ordered Oztrail Hiker 2. Delivery date kept being delayed. Switched to Oztrail Tasman 3 because it was ‘in stock’. Delays as it was shipped from a store to head office, then shipped to me. Missed the first camping trip I was meant to go on. Then ‘Couriers’s Please’ lost the parcel for 1 week. Missed 2nd trip planned. 11 working days to ship from Brisbane to Sydney. All up 6 weeks from order to delivery. Bought from a local company instead of directly from China via Ali Express because I needed it so urgently. Tentworld let me down.

Bought the 4.5 x3m Oztrail only to have it fail on the first night on an outback trip ,with the leg separating from the base plate by means of a not so engineered weld 😡

We find the majority of the staff rude. We are avid campers and avoid shopping at the Brendale store because of the lack of enthusiasm from the counter staff. The staff are grim and appeared bored. They clearly dislike their jobs.

I purchased a the Coleman 8 man instant up tent. I realised that it was broken on my first time setting it up on Fraser Island. I had to purchase a new tent to continue my trip as I was about 6 hours away from the nearest tentworld. When I called tent world I was only offered a replacement of the faulty part of the tent rather than the refund I now need as I have had to replace the tent. Now I will have 2 tents........

Purchased a Coleman tent that was used for the first time over a 4-week trip using the tent for about 24 nights. There was a fault with the tent fly. The Tentworld officer advised that the tent isn't made for continuous use, which 24 nights doesn't seem overuse and wasn't pointed out at the time of purchase. I've been told to leave the fly and they'd get back to me after talking with the agent to see what they might say. Seems an odd standpoint given the product has a 12-month guarantee.
