On Thursday 3rd December I ordered the Projecta 350W 12V inverter at a rather good price. The website indicated 01 day for dispatch and I phoned the customer service who indicated a delivery mid the following week (ie. 9 December), which was vital for a trip I was about to undertake on the following weekend. On 10 December the item had still not arrived and tracking number just said "picked up in Brisbane" on 4 December. When I contacted customer service they were unable to provide advice when it would arrive and refused to cancel the order or let me come into the nearest store to pick up from there instead. Actually the customer service is unaware of Australian Consumer Law. Products and prices are great, and I've bought heaps of stuff from Tentworld stores (in person), but very disappointed with customer service and delivery.

Terrible service!!! I ordered a Christmas item at the end of November. In early December I was told the item was out of stock and they could send a similar item which I was happy with. Two weeks later the item has not been sent and the company refused to send the item express post so that it would arrive by Christmas.

Hi, sorry to read about your experience. Seems like some things have gone wrong for you. FYI - When we're selling items out of stock, we try to make this very clear so that customers know what is going to happen. Further, when our customers ask for refunds, provided we've not already dispatched the goods - we process these requests by COB each day. I have never received my item so I request to get my refund! Since that, it has been difficult to deal with then and they don’t respond to me!

When I ordered it indicated 3 to 4 days for delivery. A week later I was sent an email saying it was going to take a month. We needed this for camping and I would not have ordered if I new this. I work in a warehouse and ship items every day, I believe your system is set up to indicate stock is available to deceive your customers into purchasing items not in stock. Not happy with your service or ethics.

2nd time I ordered for Christmas from tent world. Christmas 2018 my daughters sun shade didn’t arrive after ordering in plenty of time . This year I ordered (in September) again and stock was available and shipping well before Christmas- NOT SO still waiting . Doubt I will ever risk it again

Hi There. In the product information we have the following details. These chairs come in a range of different colours as they are created from the leftover materials produced by the supplier. Due to this reasoning, we cannot guarantee which colour you will receive. The above colours are examples of the kinds we receive, but not indicative of what is currently available. They sell stuff they don't have in stock. You will chase your refund forever... if taken a risk buying from them, use PayPal, that way you might get your money back via resolution center.

Product is good but once order my delivery date kept getting pushed out a month at a time after waiting the month to pass. After phoning one to be told it’s due to parts when it made locally out of fibreglass.

Not so much a complaint with the physical stores, but more with the online store. I ordered a coleman 6p darkroom tent on the 27/11 with an estimated shipment of the 2/12, I budgeted around a week delivery so booked a trip from the 14/12 onwards, which I would say is reasonable. I got a email on the 1/12 saying the tent would now be dispatched on the 18/12. I work and run a bike store and have a similar, if not higher supply and demand issue, I can empathise somewhat their issues, but I always quote worst case, say I was told a bike would turn up on the 1/12 I would quote just in time for xmas, to set expectation, not give an unrealistic eta to boost sales, the eta of the 2/12 was still live after I got the email of delay on the 3/12 still!!! Very dissapointed that they couldn't establish a accurate eta only 4 days out. All I got offered was a refund, which is annoying as I missed out on other sales from Snowys etc. Just to clarify the store in Dandenong were great! highly recommend buying in store, just the logistics team clearly need some work, and if you do have delays like this in such short notice offer something as an apology! Will not be buying from their online store again.

Zempire Tents are Rubbish! Far from premium and when something wrong they don't back support the warranty and quality. Do your research and stay away from this brand

The oz trail air mattress has great potential but I've had it for a week now and it has deflated each time I've pumped it up. I don't see how there could be a hole in it already as it's so new. I should have just bought a foam mattress.
