I called to make sure that my order of a MSR stove would contain all that was needed in order to use it. When it arrived it turned out that the special MSR fuel container/bottle wasn’t a part of the purchase, therefore it was a useless purchase for me, since I couldn’t just find the bottle in the middle of the outback.

Corner steady plates bolts bent when minimal weight applied, returned product store would not give refund forced me to buy another product (book) said a refund was in the too hard box. Very disappointed probably won't return to this store.

Tentworld often appears in the search results when I’m looking for items related to caravanning, camping, hiking, etc and often the prices are competitive however, as a resident of Tasmania, when the Tentworld postage costs are included, the competitive price advantage disappears. When looking at a recent $99 product (small 500g item), whilst it would have been Free Delivery to much of the country, the postage to Hobart would have been an additional $16. A quick check on AusPost and the product would have fit into a small post bag for the sum of $9.20 (including the bag) to post to anywhere in Australia. I would’ve thought that as a state that has a large caravanning, camping and hiking industry Tasmania would be a prime market, but this gives the appearance that those of us in Tassie might be subsidising the Free Delivery provided to mainland locations.

Prefer to be advised at point of purchase if item is going to be on back order for numerous weeks rather than finding out after other items arrive!!! Plus the chair that we finally did receive was in terrible condition with rust on it and the fabric was all torn! When seeking refund or replacement a very difficult task in itself! Not great

I didn’t purchase from you as what I wanted was not in stock and it took 2/3 days to inform me of the situation, so I had to go elsewhere to get what I needed in the timeframe I wanted. On the plus side the refund time was quite acceptable. Regards.

I usually have a good experience purchasing my gear on line with Tentworld, but on this occasion it has been poor. I ordered a OZtrail Pioneer Solar Shower on 24/06/2020 and it has still not been delivered. I have received 3 emails from Tentworld advising each time that my delivery has been delayed and stating a different new delivery date each time. I just checked on line and the same product still does not say it is out of stock and it still claims to be delivered within 5 business days. Had your website stated it was out of stock at the time of my order, I would have ordered it elsewhere and been able to use it for the past month. I know you have offered to refund my money thank you, but that isn’t the point, you should disclose the item is out of stock before taking my money in the first place. That’s why I shop local And not overseas.

Products were good but it took forever to arrive. One of the products was supposed to leave the warehouse in a day but took a week. The second one took another week.

I find it helps if you have the product in stock before you sell it, the only reason I give you 2 stars is because your staff have been helpful. Still waiting for my order!!!

The item I ordered was not in stock and then after changing the order I was sent the wrong item. Customer service were helpful though.

I havent received my order yet, when i ordered it there was nothing to advise that the item would be delayed or on back order. I rate tentworld quite highly but would have preferred to know that there was a delay prior to ordering so i could have purchased another item in store.

Unfortunately, both we and our suppliers ran out of stock quite quickly and it's been a tough road getting these re-stocked and orders fulfilled.
