've been shopping at Tesco for 20y. The quality of their products has declined in the last few years particularly with the bakery. Yet their prices still go up.The quality of their baked rolls is poor - hard/ overbaked and they hardly produce any wholemeal rolls. They used to produce rustic rolls which were wholesome and healthy and very popular yet stopped doing this a few years ago and now most of their bakery rolls are white which is not healthy particularly to those with health problems like diabetes. I've now started shopping at asda which has a better bakery and is cheaper. The last straw was with the poor quality of coriander they started providing 4 weeks ago - small stringy pieces thrown and tangled up in the bag unlike the previous long bunched ones they sold for years. It seems they are trying to cut their costs at the expense of quality.

After 2 years of shopping at Tesco Aberdare and putting up with unstocked shelves every time I shop, especially in the fresh produce section. I have to shop late evening and find that it is hit and miss if the fresh produce is stocked properly, more miss than hit, even though the store is open until midnight. Tonight has just confirmed that I need to try Aldi, as at half 9, not only were the the shelves not stocked, but the lights had been turned off in the chilled cabinates. Not exactly inviting you to shop. This isn't the first time either. Bye bye Tesco

They didn't make me happy in the least. Grocery shopping on line is abysmal as site is slow, out of ate and certainly not user friendly - won't be doing it again.

I am not at all happy with Tesco's on-line shopping experience as the pages on their homewear products do not load properly. It was far quicker for me to go direct to the store to buy what I wanted.

The quality of this store has been declining recently, with various products I've noticed being taken off the shelves permanently - including lighter/healthier products such as light condensed milk and eat lean protein cheese. Despite this, the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about products the store does still stock.

My problem was with the customer service department! Beware of any phone numbers on, 'certain' guarantee phamplets. The one I first used, was a premium number, Tesco will argue , all their phone numbers are "free phone". Not impressed at all !!

Nearly 90 minutes to order online shop, password and email incorrect. Eventually log in,hardly any fresh fruit or vegetables, meal deal limited, 1 choice of chicken ,no meat free, 2 desserts , 2 sides. At checkout offers did not come off so bill higher than expected. Rang customer services, cut off twice, cancelled whole order,. Shocking servive.

Only half my delivery came, half someone’s else’s. We had to unpack the shopping and tick it back! Driver had to take back what was not mine! Phoned help line and spoke to a guy who sounded bored out of his brains. I am now waiting 2 hours later for my shopping to come. I was offered my deliver charge back and a £5 voucher!!! Also lots of substitutes! Never again! They call this easy shopping!!!!

When I buy pre-bagged fruit or vegetables in Tesco, there is frequently an 'obligatory' bad one. I've seen a well stocked counter on many occasions with weighed bags of for instance potatoes and when I check each bag there is a potato that is badly blemished or in a state of decomposition. The same can be said for bagged apples, oranges, plums, tangerines, brussels sprouts etc. I prefer to buy loose fruit or veg but sometimes these are not available. Why should I pay for fresh food that is not 100% edible?

Your clowne store chesterfield. Visited yesterday first time half of the shelves empty. Only one sushi left no size 18s in most of womens clothing as sold out. A very poor standard wont go back to this store shelves should be well stocked midday. However newquay tesco express would have got 5 stars.

I'm fed up of the poor quality of their finest steaks range. Unless they are a fillet steak (which are great btw) the last 5 or 6 times I've bought anything other than fillet from the finest range all ive got is fatty, tough and inedible pieces of meat. Nothing to do with how I prepare it either. And you wonder why your company is dying a slow death? First you start compromising on customer service, now the quality of your food.....sort it out Tesco.

Tesco used to be full of great value but now it's just full of marketing scams making people think it's cheap. You add the few things up in your head and their prices dont tally with rivals too well even tho it says it does with the brand shopping. Their own brand stuff is even getting to an extortionate amount. Employees could do with being a little more friendly. I'm not saying it's every employee but a fair few. I have been in other frachised stores that give me a positive happy shopping experience just because of the employees. I'm not exactly short of a pound but I don't have an unlimited supply either. I know theres other's getting it hard compared to me so every little helps.

The shelves are often empty, not attempt is made to correct the problem, cheese buns on the bread counter are missing from the bread counter at 4 Tesco shops within 15 miles of home so now don't bother with Tesco. No wonder they complain about not selling enough products. If you haven't got the products you cannot make a sale and therefore you cannot make money. Even the monkeys in London Zoo might tell the buyers that!!!!!!!

Diabetics everywhere be aware. Although I agree all staff were very polite . There is one thing that people need to know. I went for my diabetic eye test during which I suffered a hypo none of the staff in vision express had any knowledge or experience concerning this very serious illness. I even check with the Tesco manager who also did not understand about diabetes. I had a 7 mile journey back home and only just made it . I feel if any company is offering diabetics a service there staff should should be educated regarding this serious illness before someone dies.
