“From the moment Alex Lazarus [The 1916 Company] Responded to my initial inquiry, I knew I was dealing with someone special. His professionalism, depth of knowledge, and genuine passion for horology immediately stood out and set the tone for what became one of the most memorable watch-buying experiences I’ve ever had. Early in our conversations, Alex took the time to educate me and even helped me determine that a previous watch I was considering purchasing elsewhere was in fact not authentic. He patiently walked me through the details to look for, made clear comparisons, and ultimately saved me from making a costly mistake. That level of honesty and education is rare..and it immediately built trust. Alex also thoroughly explained the Certified Pre-Owned Rolex process and what it truly means to buy from an authorized and reputable dealer. From our very first conversation, I felt completely safe and confident that he was the right person to guide me in purchasing a discontinued rose gold Sky Dweller. “After a little wait for a specific Rolex Datejust configuration, Fernando reached out and made the entire purchase process smooth and memorable. From the initial conversations to the final pickup, the communication was professional, transparent, and welcoming. Fernando took the time to answer questions and made the experience feel special rather than just transactional. You can tell the team here truly values building long-term relationships with their clients. There was a staff team meeting going on as I entered and I was warmly greeted by everyone! The watch is absolutely stunning in person, and I couldn’t be happier with both the timepiece and the level of service I received. “I am truly blown away by this entire process. Initially I was INCREDIBLY skeptical purchasing a pre-owned watch on eBay through the 1916 Company . After research, I learned the 1916 Company is extremely legitimate and reputable in NYC. Whiel in the city for Christmas, I attempted to schedule a visit in person, but the watch was off-site. A salesperson called me by phone, patiently answered my questions, and helped provide assurance. The entire process was seamless from authentication, amazing customer service & personalized follow up. The watch is in brand new MINT condition even though it was listed as "good". It was even better than expected! This is an incredibly smart business practice - under promise and over deliver. The watch came with the original manufacturer warranty not expiring until 2030. I've already registered the watch with Breitling. After receipt of the watch, I checked the serial number against the Watch Register and obtained a clean certificate from stolen merchandise. This is an incredible value for what I paid and I couldn't be happier! I will recommend the 1916 Company over and over again!”
