First thing first, I order a sectional and decided to pick it up. Upon arriving at the warehouse very kind gentlemen assisted me , but unfortunately my sectional was broken and I couldn't pickup . This indeed was an inconvenience as the uhaul was picked up and paid for . I did speak with the manager of the store who assisted me with that inconvenience. NOW THE DELIVER GUYS WERE ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THE REASON FOR SUCH RATING. They bring my sectional in and just sat it wherever and when I advised I would like to have on a certain wall. This guy had the audacity to tell me , " WELL YOU KNOW WE DO HAVE 1 MORE STOP AFTER YOU" I advised that had nothing to do with me.For something that would have taken less than 2mins and their JOB to place the furniture where I desired. At that point I wanted them out of my house. I do understand how constructing manifest work for deliveries. They had more than enough time to do their JOB. Just the fact of these guys delivering furniture in the future would definitely deter me from ordering additional furniture I was looking to purchase from AHS.

I placed an order in May, was told I would receive it in June, didn't receive it until September, I had to wait an extra 3 months then my order was not correct.

Got what I ordered but the top of one of the side rails is chipped and I can’t use the top spots on the headboard and footboard as there is nowhere to screw it into

The 3 star review is not so much about the store (our ecperience in the store, with our salesman was worthy of 4.5 stars); its about a 5 month wait we endured for delivery of our recliners. Most people will not wait 5 months for furniture.

Short version: We paid $7K for a bedroom suite and got everything, except our night stands, in a week. The nightstands we won't get until OCTOBER. Information that was withheld until AFTER we signed the paperwork. Even though we were promised EVERYTHING was in stock.

The Salesperson was very professional and attentive to my needs however, I am still awaiting my two chairs that go with my dining room table! I spent over $8000 ! The odds of shopping @ Great American Homestore is slim to none! It screams bad service for me.

It was a huge ordeal to get my paperwork done and it was not specified on my paperwork that I wanted the white bed amd dresser. The day my furniture was delivered I had to work that night and it was very inconvenient to get up and get the wrong furniture. I was extremely upset.

The salespeople were very friendly. Opened the ottoman purchased at the South Haven location and it was unraveling. Very disappointed. Could not return because we live Baton Rouge and we aren’t available to travel back anytime soon.

First we were told the furniture was at store and could have immediately when in reality we had to go to warehouse in Memphis to pick up. We were told the warehouse people would tie everything down for us when they did not. We had to do all of it. Very misleading and no discount!

The sales staff and showroom were great. The quality of the piece we purchased was nothing like the display piece however. It was much firmer and not comfortable, the seams weren’t even and worst of all It was DIRTY.

Overall my experience was great until I have to pay extra for multiple deliveries I think when it’s not the buyer fault and you have already paid for your items to be delivery it the buyer shouldn't pay extra to have the rest of their items brought to them..

It took longer than originally quoted for me to get my furniture. And when everything was finally in and I got the call to come and make my final payment when I went to pick up my items I was informed that they forgot to get my ottoman and that I would have to make a 2nd trip to pick that up when it was ready. I asked for a courtesy delivery for this inconvenience and was declined. I had to leave for a scheduled vacation and while I was gone I received a call from the store asking when I was going to get the ottoman and stated they had another customer who needed the ottoman and wanted to sell mine to them…are you kidding me with this!!! I still have to make a 2nd inconvenient trip to the store to get my ottoman

I purchased a sectional from you guys last week. My salesman, Larry, has no filter and I have not figured out how he is a salesman there. I had my father meet the delivery guys to let them in my house. When I got home, my sectional was not even connected. The pieces were just set next to one another rather than being hitched together as they should be. I am a single mom with a little girl. I had to get someone to come over and help me attach the pieces. My sectional is big and not easy for one person to connect. On a positive note, the inventory was nice and the cleaning lady was very friendly and nice.

I’m assuming all sales people are on commission. When I first looked at furniture recently it wasn’t until I then contacted original salesperson that the sale was off from when I first visited. She said she didn’t know when company would do it again. She had originally said “SHE could give me 10% off”. Sounded like something she could do vs being a company sale. Then another sale was advertised! She would not work with me before I visited second time. It would be great if salesperson could always offer a little off because furniture is so expensive.
