Bought £145 boots, and within a year, two splits appeared on both boots, making them non-waterproof. There was a warranty of a year, but they said 'Further to the return/ images sent regarding your warranty claim, I regret to inform you that the issue has been deemed as fair wear and tear by our Quality Control team and is not covered by our warranty.'

At over £100 these boots are by far the most expensive boots I've ever purchased and, similarly, they are the worst quality boot I've owned. To say they are uncomfortable is an understatement. I persevered with them initially buying heel protectors after the ridiculous moulding chewed the skin off my heel only to have one seal after another break down and leak. They really are rubbish and the quality is something akin to a pound land purchase. Customer service is none existent and zero interest in complaints about the defective products they pedal. Avoid.

Having spent over £350 on two pairs, my wife’s Vibram sole fell off one boot a little over 12 months later. I contacted them to be told we hadn’t cared for them despite no evidence for them to claim this. My wife washes them in water after each dog walk throughout winter and stored in the utility room. I agree with others, this company is nothing short of a complete scam. Do not go near them.

After only about 100 hours of light use, walking the dogs in the country, the rubber above the back heals have split open 4-5 inches across. I paid over $200 for these boots, I would expect at least 10 years of wear for this cost output. I had a pair of Sorrels that lasted 10 years and were at least $100 cheaper. No more Muck Boots for me!

Boots are wonderful but customer service is awful. Do yourself a favor and buy the boots off Amazon.

Purchased boots on 17th of November 2023, after approximately 6 weeks of use the internal material on the back had work through completely meaning the boots were rendered unwearable due to the edged of the material now rubbing against the achilles. Customer "support" have stated this is wear and tear and therefore will provide no assistance. You would be better off buying unbranded chinese boots on ebay. At least then you are paying a reduced rate for what a similar pair of substandard boots with 0 durability and effectively no warranty.

Do NOT buy, gift or USE the Muck Boot Company, their Boots are very expensive and break down within a few months of wearing them. It is a COMPLETE WASTE of money. Check out their website, you will find review after review of the back where the heel goes to be completely used, it has a hard thick plastic on it, that will make you BLEED and BLISTER!!!! I barely used these boots, they were over $200 and the company WILL NOT give you a refund!!! Don't waste your time and energy! BUY Bogs or any other brand, NOT THESE boots, They are cheaply made and NO ONE tested them!!!!

possibly one of the the worst companies and least customer friendly companies I have had the unfortunate pleasure in dealing with . I returned boots in December , it took 4 weeks to get a refund, then they deducted £ 10 for a damaged box , really I said , didnt you read our small print . The box was returned in the same condition it arrived , if it is damaged in transit how is that my fault . More than likely scam with all returns to get £ 10 back has any one else had this problem with this company and to make matters worse , they do not offer free returns, i guess that says it all

I purchased a pair of Artic boots in December and within 2 months all around the heel has disintegrated. Up until this point I was happy that I had purchased a pair of boots that were warm and comfortable. I contacted Customer Service and was told the issue has been deemed as fair wear and tear and is not covered by warranty. I feel this is a dreadful response. Looking at other reviews I can see they clearly have a manufacturing issue. I for one will never purchase an item from them again.

I wish review sites would allow you to give no stars and I wish I had read the reviews earlier. I have contacted customer service to try to resolve this and I am extremely disappointed in the response I have received. I have used this company many times in the past and have been quite satisfied with their products. The wellingtons I purchased lasted merely 12 months despite several months of hot weather so they were not even worn then! They have split at the back and the sole has come off. This is apparently in their words 'fair wear and tear'. Ridiculous. How much would it honestly cost them to replace faulty product rather than lose a customer - customer retention CLEARLY not part of your strategy. You are certainly not customer focused or put the customer at the heart of what you do - just look at the reviews with the same issues! These were not cheap and I will no longer purchase from this company. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. I shall be leaving this review on every review site I can find them on and altering the words slightly so that review algorithms do not remove them for being duplicates!

I have gone through 2 pairs of muckboots within 1 year! First pair the soles unglued and they replaced them. The second pair there was a crack forming above the foot bend! My boots were never stored in elements. Contacted the customer service to discuss solution on their product for my second pair and due to us being International Customer they only offered 60% off anything on their website. After the terrible experience I've had we will no longer support Mucks and find a brand that stands behind their product.

I've been wearing Muck Boots for 40+ years. I've now purchased my last pair. I brought a pair of the Chore boots last winter to have ready to go in the Spring. I got them out this week and shockingly, the FIRST day I wore them, when I return to the house and removed the boots, my socks were WET! Boots leak right out of the box. No more Muck Boots for me. Very disappointing, not to mention all the money I wasted on these expense boots.

Definitely DON’T Recommend buying Muck Boots! I bought mine in winter and I was using them, I would say, every second day for about 3 months, just for walking a dog (so in my opinion very light usage) During that time the inside lining in one of the boots started breaking up where the stitching was (back on the heel). I have now a hole in the lining and it rubs and is unconfortable to wear! I reported the problem to MuckBoot to find out that it was my fault as “deemed as fair wear and tear and is not covered by warranty.” I tried to explain that in my opinion the hole was caused by the stitching that wasn’t finished properly and over time started to break. No one listend! I ended up with very expensive (original RRP £210!) and very unconfortable boots! They were to last for years and didn’t serve me properly even for 3 MONTHS!!! DON’T BUY MUCKBOOTS, THEY ARE POOR QUALITY!

Maybe the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Completely screwed me on a trip I leave for tomorrow.

Boots advertised as in stock and delivery in 3 - 5 working days. 10 days later, no order update or communication. No reply to email to customer service, so I call them to be told they are out of stock and won't be available until end of the year. Terrible service, won't be going here again!
