Terrible company!!! Ordered a rug only to be told it would be a 2 month wait. I have tried to cancel the order and requested a refund. I was told this would be done however a month later I am still chasing my £70. Beware of this company!

Absolutely terrible company I ordered a rug witch on their web site was in stock only to have an email from them saying it was not in stock and it would be until end of May when they would have them back in stock again. So I asked for a refund I had an email from them saying that they would refund me but I’m still waiting so I had to put an pay-pal claim just to get my refund as I say a terrible company please look some were else for your rug and give this company a miss.

We bought our "Rug Seller" rug less than 2 years ago. Many of the "loops have worked loose" even though we have vacuumed it as per the "Rug Care and Maintenance Tips". I can't attach photos to show you. We do not feel this is acceptable. Rug Seller don't want to know.

Delivery as specified. Rug the exactly what i wanted in size and colour. Problem is that it loses more than fifty strands every day. I realise shaggy rugs shed but this is ridiculous. After 2 months I have had enough and will be buying another from somewhere else.

I am sorry that you have not been happy with your new rug. Have you had a look at our after care information? Taking care when cleaning and hoovering a shaggy rug can help to extend it's life and appearance. Shedding is a natural element of a hand woven rug - perhaps you could consider a machine woven rug in the future, such as our Twilight rugs to avoid this. Regards, Amanda

Terrible company, took my money then told me rug wasn't in stock and offered refund. I agreed to refund but it was never given. Then they decided to send a rug I hadn't ordered. Many ignored emails later it took 4 phone calls from them to establish what rug they had sent me as they 'send out over 300 hundred rugs a day' so shouldn't be expected to know what every customer has been sent. They also couldn't authorise a refund until this was established and a collection of wrong rug organised. In the end I had to send them a photo from their own website of the rug I ordered and the one I was sent. I'm waiting on all day today for the collection as they couldn't give me a time. Still no refund. Extremely unhappy and will never use this company again. Customer service non existent.

I am sorry that your experience with The Rug Seller has not been a positive one on this occasion. As with all online retailers, payment is taken when an item is ordered. You were notified that your rug was not in stock for a few weeks and that it could be with you in mid-February; you chose to cancel the order so it was agreed that a refund would be issued. Unfortunately, our warehouse team had already organised for your rug to be shipped out to you - we are very sorry for this error and any inconvenience it caused. Our customer service team are extremely hard working and try their best to ensure that our customers are satisfied with the service that they are provided. A refund was issued once the returned rug was received back to our warehouse. Regards, Amanda

You sent a rug instead of a half moon - This should be replaced.

I ordered 2 rugs and anti-slip products from the rug seller. There have been 2 issues. The first was that one of the rugs was the wrong colour and so it couldn't be delivered at the the same time as the other products however the 2nd issue meant I had to cancel my order as the delivery firm that the Rug Seller uses in Edinburgh refused to deliver the rugs to my door stating they only deliver kerbside and as I live in a second floor flat I would have had to lift a 3m x 4m rug myself up 2 flights of stairs which I was both unable and unwilling to do. I would warn anybody ordering a large rug from the Rug Seller and who lives in a flat (not sure if this is just an Edinburgh issue) to check that it can actually be delivered to their door.

Very poor service. I ordered a rug and the order was accepted, but two weeks later I'd heard nothing. I rang to enquire and the man said he would call me back - but simply didn't bother. Subsequently, I had an email to say the rug would not be in stock for at least a month. No reference was made to my phone call. Needless to say, I cancelled the order.

Ordered a rug which was easy enough and arrived promptly. After seeing it in person, I decided that it wasn't exactly suitable for my home. This is where the problems started. Tried to ring them to get the return address but no one answered my calls. Tried emailing them and eventually got a reply after 5 messages. Seems to be a good company if you're happy with your order otherwise it is a nightmare! And now I have returned the item to them they are disputing the delivery even though it was signed for. Good company for taking your money but useless with customer satisfaction.

Placed an order on 04.01.2016. Got a confirmation about despatch 06.01.2016. Gave a call to customer service on 11.01.2016- was informed that there was no despatch so far and that the metter will be investigated and i will be informed. No one got back to me me with any updates as for 13.01.2016. Planning to call and find out what's going on....

Disappointing experience with The Rug Seller. Sent the wrong colour rug but were not very helpful about replacing it . Took up a lot of my time with very little help from them.

Had to cancel order even though I had the shipment date goods did not arrive had to make various calls to be told order somehow got lost was then told I would have to wait 2months for next stock so I cancelled the order Needless to say I am not happy

Returns system is very very poor and very very expensive. Using the local PO would cost me £13 to return but the nearest depot is 13 miles away (I live in a town not out in the country) and I do not have the luxury of a car, so I am stuck with the scrap of carpet I ordered. Would never consider ordering from this company again.

Ordered a red rug, a cream rug was delivered. Called customer service and someone promised to call back. Had to wait a week to have the mistaken rug picked up. The Rug I ordered was also not available till another week later. Incredibly disappointing.

I still don't have my rug. I was told it would be with me 2 weeks ago. When itI didn't arrive I spoke to the courier who said it was never dispatched. I then spoke to 3 different people over the course of a week who respectively put me on hold so long it rang out, told me they would call me back and then didn't and finally told me my rug would be here this week (I'm still waiting). So go somewhere else for your rug.

Ordered rug 30th Nov. First rug sent was wrong colour. E.mailed for urgent reply, no one rings back or replies to e.mails. Rang James,said they would send a replacement and I would get it by Friday 4th. Rang Sarah when it didn't arrive, told still in warehouse and it would be now Monday 7th. Rang them when it didn't arrive said it would be Tues 8th as it had just been sent out. Arrived 16.45 on Tues, when unpacked inner plastic wrapping had split in it and a 1inch hole through the weave backing on the rug. Rang Daniel back, told too late to check for stock in warehouse but would ring me back next morning 9th with stock update. When no phone received from Daniel by 2.30pm,so I rang them back and spoke to James who apologised again, and when he rang me back told me the rug was out of stock and was now being sent direct from supplier. Received my new rug on Fri 11th. Happy now!!

My order was dispatched on 12th November it is now the 3rd December 2015 have had 3 pie crust promises for delivery dates , and still I await receipt of the rug! I think a refund is due!

Liked the carpet design but not suitable for kitchens it slides about and can be very dangerous, also both ends keep curling so have to keep folding them over. Wasted money on this and won't buy from this seller again. Now have to spend more time and money looking for a more suitable kitchen rug/carpet.
