“First time colouring my own hair. Was a bit awkward doing myself as had to manoeuvre back blindly. Hair was very knotted after shampoo and I would suggest 2 sachets for longer hair. Conditioner was ample. Colour gave me 100% grey coverage and colour looked very natural. I received many complements. Did I mention 100% grey coverage. So so happy!!”

“The survey suggested "Chocolate Blonde" would be the colour for me but, unfortunately my greys turned a reddish colour. I used the extra developer beforehand, as suggested because my hair can be quite resistant to colour. The idea is good but not for me, sorry. Too fiddly to apply the colour (I had to get my husband to help with the back).”

Dear Petra, We received your order on the evening of April 14th and despatched it the next day. The tracking which can be found here:https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/details/0307053834618006000990 says it’s on the way, but it has been delayed. Unfortunately there are big delays from Australia Post all over the country mainly due to the increased volume of people having items home delivered. “I had a terrific experience from start to finish. The website has literally everything, but Naomi the Colourist went out of her way to help me make the right decisions. I sent her pics of my hair (salon colour and streaks, but now with Covid grey roots!). She made great colour recommendations, even answering emails on the Easter weekend!!!! I did the deed yesterday, my husband helping with the back bits, and I'm so thrilled with the results! Greys are gone, feels incredible, looove the colour Trieste, which works well over the lighter streaks. Love that there's no ammonia, you're an Aussie company, you treated me like I was in your salon.”

“Well I finally worked up the courage to use my shade system and it's worked out really well! I ended up with a colour to blend with the colours I already have. I followed the tips for applying colour to the roots so I didn't lose my blonde highlights and it blended perfectly. The kit itself was excellent! Amazing value for money. I really liked the little note with my name hand written. That's the little touches unable to be achieved from a store. ”

“I was very impressed. My gran daughter is my hairdresser but has had trouble finding a product that I don't have a reaction to. The Shade was recommended to me by a friends daughter and after the first use I did not have a reaction, so I am very happy. “Positively suprised ! I have balayage and I was due for a visit to the hairdresser but due to COVID19 decided to try the shade. I choose the lightest beige - wow ! Looks great cheaper and better than the hairdresser. What I like: - ordering process (next time I will use the colour consultant) - postage was quick - gorgeous packaging -awesome material included I disliked - the gloves !!!! They’re on the cheaper side. Would prefer proper hairdressing gloves. - a little confused as I had two developers but only one colour”

“I was really unsure about the free trial, knowing I had to subscribe to get the product but customer service was friendly and helpful so I decided to try The Shade in Sorrento. My hairdresser colours my roots every 5-6 weeks and I decided to give this at home colour treatment a go during covid19 restrictions. I was pleasantly surprised with the kit, the cape is particularly awesome, and instructions for the pre-softening for grey coverage as well as applying the colour was very easy (clear and concise). I read one woman’s review where her hair was very matted after the shampoo, I had the same result but the conditioner relaxed that situation very quickly. My hair is so soft and the colour is perfect!”
