“I loved the whole experience! Website is beautiful and was easy to find what I wanted; delivered quickly and elegant, minimal packaging. Colour is beautiful and really nourished my hair as well! Love love love that the first pack comes with the brush and mixing pot etc for reuse next time. Only tiny suggestion for improvement would be that the gloves supplied could be durable reusable ones, added to the starter kit, rather than the flimsy throwaways that are in with the colour. Perhaps have as an optional add on? At least reducing the single use plastic :-) Otherwise everything is top notch! Really felt like I treated myself to some pampering :-)”

“It has been a long time since I coloured my own hair - but with the new world order of COVID-19, I was looking for something high quality and easy... and The Shade fits the bill. The colour selecting process was great - very detailed and easier to use than facing hundreds of boxes in the supermarket! The customer service was exceptional - very quick responses and always very helpful. There was a delay on shipping that was because of Australia Post - nothing to do with The Shade - but they were patient and understanding and offered several options with regards to my subscription to help. The process of dying my hair was a little tricky - but only because it had been so long since I did it! The kit comes with everything you could need (and then some!). Beautiful packaging and the team clearly thought about everything. The only thing - and it really is the only thing - that I would change is the two sachets of colour protecting shampoo and conditioner: they were really tricky to open in the shower!! But such a small thing and certainly wouldn't put me off giving them a well-deserved five stars. The colour covered all of my greys (I am in my 40s, so have a few!) and left my hair soft and manageable. Love it and highly recommend The Shade!”

“I love it, I never seem to get the colour right when I store buy, but this one was spot on... The ease of selecting shade is made easy for you with lots of help from consult with expert... When it arrived I was blown away with what was in the box, everything you need, and I mean everything ... The price is amazing, save money girls... The ease of doing was my favourite as usually I have trouble with the back but the instructions are so clear...my hair looks brighter and so softer.. I highly recommend ...”

“I love the colour! It covered the greys really well, although I should have left mine on for longer than 45 mins where the greys are particularly stubborn! The best part is my hair feels soft and not damaged. There was no strong smell and there was no tingling, or “toxic” feeling! My only criticism is the clips And gloves are terrible! But for the price, that’s fair enough.”
