“Love love love the shade. I went from brown with blonde highlights to black and I'm so happy. Very easy process, steps & equipment were just awesome. I'm actually upset I'll eventually have to go to a professional hairdresser for a hair cut otherwise it's literally the BEST HAIR system. Thankyoubso much.”

“I absolutely love the colours from The Shade, I wanted i drastic change and to try something new. I used 2 colours to get my perfect Cherry red, 6.34 Tresite and 5.5 Mahogany. From the help of a colourist at The Shade and did myself at home and saving a lot of money. I haven’t been to the hairdresser all year because I love the shades and that the hair dye does not damage your hair. The new look turned out perfect. Highly recommend.”

“I’ve been using the new Shade Semi-Permanent Hair Color, and I couldn't be happier! The colo solutely stunning, and I love that it arrives at my doorstep every month. No more stressing a nning out or finding my favorite shade gone from the supermarket shelves. The packaging is id the kit comes with everything I need for a flawless application. “I bought The Shade-Brown #5 to cover up blonde highlights gone wrong after a salon treatment. Fair to say that I am pleasantly impressed and have decided that I won't ever need to return to a salon for colour. My hair now feels soft and the damage after the salon bleaching, is on the road to recovery. I will be a returning customer to The Shade.”

“Only started having my hair coloured in my 40's as my natural light red hair was fading and losing its "copper". I love being a redhead and wanted to maintain a natural look, but salon visits were expensive (& not to mention time consuming!) ...then along came The Shade! Their colour consultation service was fantastic, and the colour combo they recommended for me was spot-on! I use Palermo (golden copper) & Sicily (medium blonde) Semi permanent.”

“I purchased the Golden Copper Blonde (7.43) shade and it is came out very much like a medium Auburn colour. It was more orange than I'd hoped after initially colouring as I had old blonde highlights that absorbed the colour quickly, but it's now settled after a couple of washes to a really beautiful auburn colour. My natural hair is base 7, which is why I selected this colour. It is a little darker than I was expecting (probably because I'd been blonde for so long), but it's a really lovely colour. There's no overpowering smell and the shine and gloss is amazing. My hair looks so healthy and soft now. Highly recommend.”

“Love my subscription, the easy to use kit, all the extra info and tips on the website (take the time to read I’ve learnt heaps of tips, like using foil on stubborn greys etc). Colour is great and results better than box colour from supermarket (smells so much less toxic too). Colour remover wipes and barrier oil is very helpful. I would love to be able to have my subscription timed for every 3 weeks rather than 4, which is my only feedback for improvement.”
