“I love The Shade, its so conveniently delivered to your door and originally I had signed up for one colour and after a few deliveries it just wasnt the right colour for me, took 2 seconds to update my subscription and change the colour online. LOVE the new colour !! This is such an affordable and convenient way to go, really great quality, I highly recommend”

“I was a bit nervous when I received my order as I haven't coloured my own hair in a very long time, but being in Melbourne and not having had a colour for 7 months I was wanting something that was good quality. Came across The Shade and thought I'd give it a go. Was great making use of the free trial (only had to pay postage). Everything turned up nice presented and I love that they provide you with all the equipment you need. All instructions were very straight forward and simple to follow. I got my husband to help me apply the colour and he did a fantastic job at it. Super happy with the colour, with was Deep Mahogany Brown. It's a lovely colour and would be happy to purchase again.”

“Beautiful, long lasting colour for me and now my daughter is using it too. I had to use an anti-dandruff shampoo and it didn't fade the colour. It really is worth the extra trouble of mixing and applying by brush instead of the supermarket squirt-it-on bottle... But you get a salon result without the nasty chemicals. My hair was horrible post chemo, but soft and shiny now. My only thing that would be better is remind the user to take scissors for the shampoo and conditioner sachets when they wash and condition afterward. We won't go back.”

“Amazing value for money with the starter pack. Everything inside was quality and The Shade branded, I was very impressed. I especially liked the bench mat and the cape, items I didn't have before but I'm so happy I do now. The colour itself looked beautiful, it was so shiny and had great coverage, and was easy to apply. I love the barrier oil and stain wipes that came with the kit, very handy for reducing mess. Overall a very happy customer.”

“I have had my hair dyed at the hairdressers for many years as I had more grey than I wanted and felt DIY colour just didn’t provide the cover I needed. Covid 19 meant I had to resort to DIY colour! A chance chat with a friend about my hair lead me to The Shade. Wow! I was impressed, great coverage and longevity. Love the colour! Have had many positive comments. “Really like the concept and lack of nasties in this product. Unfortunately, on trying some of the colours in the 8 and 9's range, my hair takes on an orange colour. Have tried a variety of purple shampoos with no success of removing the brassiness.”
