“Always the sceptic, but after reading many of the comments and searching the profiles for legitimacy, I took the plunge and brought an Ash Blonde. My hair is natural, with no previous colour. The colour came out amazing, my hair felt soft and I’m extremely happy.”

“I’ve been blonding my hair at home for years. While I’ve always liked it, what has been a problem is consistently being able to buy my preferred colour. As a result I’ve often had to buy a different colour each time I go shopping, which is really frustrating. I read about ‘The Shade’ in a Reddit comment and thought I’d give it a go. The blonde shade I chose is absolutely beautiful, and it’s really nice knowing that I’ll be getting the same colour every 5 weeks. I’m really glad I signed up, and look forward to having one less thing to worry about.”

“Best dye I have tried so far. I got the shade to give me a colour review with before photos & a history of what I had done with my hair. I was extremely impressed with the advice received after letting the shade know what I wanted to achieve. They suggested a step by step process, going for a base colour to start with due to my hair having previous highlights. I am looking forward to further advice when I contact the shade again as to the next steps I want to achieve.”

“Having previously used another more natural tint, it did not hold on my grey regrowth. So I am trialing The Shade & so far it is holding colour on my greys. I chose Ferrara 10.1 which tinted a nice ash, as I’m now mid 50’s I wanted to try the Catania 902 as a toner a week after applying Ferrara & I’m impressed with the result. Having tried Catania which is a little warmer without the ash, I will swap to this shade for my permanent colour…Thank you The Shade I feel great moving into my late 50’s with the right shade of colour!!💫👱🏻‍♀️”

“I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. I initially reached out to the colourist before ordering and she suggested a duo colour 7.2 and 8.2 - it is just fabulous. The team at The Shade are very prompt in helping and getting back to any queries. I also love that there is so much less damage to my hair than grabbing something off the supermarket shelf. I have used this colour twice and I don't think there is as much fade as the other supermarket colour I had been using. I have also started using one of their serums and the volume conditioner which I also really like. This is a great company and I highly recommend”

“Absolutely Happy! I used the Shade for the first time just one day before my wedding day, and wooooow — the results were incredible! My hair turned out even better than I expected. The colour was vibrant, rich, and full of life. Even my hairstylist mentioned how easy it was to work with - the texture, shine, and softness made styling a dream. I truly felt radiant on my big day. “Loving The Shade, have used it a couple of times now and referred family and friends who love it too. The home salon kit is great with the mixing bowl and four clips however the cape could be longer especially if your hair is longer than a bob or shoulder length. I have sensitive skin and react to lots of things but haven’t had any issues with The Shade at all. Ash Brown is my go to colour, not too dark or light and no brassy tones! 😊”

“Second time I've purchade hair colour - went for a slightly different shade. Once again, was excellent, easy to use, smells nice, great colour and coverage. I'd always used L'Oreal Castings as my go to as it was not permament and suited me, but after trying The Shade I'll be using their colours now for sure. I also purchased a shampoo and conditioner, which are both excellent.”
