This salon quality product is thick and creamy and so easy to apply. No nasty chemicals and the results are the best colour I've EVER had ever (including 15yrs getting colour done at a salon). My hair looks and feels amazing and it's the best coverage of my white/grey hair. The colour consultants helped me get the best colour match result their customer care has been excellent. I also love that this is a Melbourne based company.

I ordered the Toscano Ash Brown. I have quite a few greys, I found that some of my greys did not take but most of it was covered. It’s great that the dye is free of PPD however, the barrier oil & shampoo & conditioner has PEGs and SLS which was disappointing. My skin is quite sensitive and I have been experiencing a bit of itching at the Bottom of my head. The colour blended well, and it’s great that you get the accessories but unfortunately this product is not for me.

The colour is vibrant on the area where I put the developer which was on the greys. So the colour was vibrant at the roots. The colour was uneven. I have washed it once since dying. I like the uneven colour and the colour has reduced on the roots. The developer really works well but I think it would have been a more even colour if I didn't put the developer on the greys, but the colour wouldn't have been as vibrant as there is not much colour on the rest of the hair, which was a coloured dark blonde. The kit and hair products were easy to use. I have medium length hair, it's curly but thin so I had a lot of product left, about half, so a waste. would have been good if they came in bottles like previous products I have used and I use just the amount I need.

I am so happy to have come across this company. I have been using your product now for a few months and love it. The color is vibrant. It’s lasts well and covers greys very well. I will never use box dyes again! The subscription service is great as I don’t have to worry about ordering it but also know I can change it at anytime.

This was my first time using The Shade which was recommended by a friend.I have regularly coloured ash blonde hair, but with Melbourne's lockdown was looking to colour my hair myself with the help of my gorgeous daughter ! The kit arrived quickly and included everything you could possibly need.....except the hairdresser :) My natural colour is nearly platinum white all over , I know this as I lost all my hair 3 years ago to cancer treatment and it came back white as snow! I also have red head genes so sometimes my colours have thrown to red! I was really pleased with my online colour consultation, lovely friendly emails, but went a shade darker than advised , to Dark Ash Blonde . I chose this colour as my hair tends to lighten up quickly . I have long hair and found the the sachets supplied were enough to cover it. The dye has almost no smell , doesn't sting and the shampoo and conditioner supplied leave your hair feeling great! Very , very pleased with the outcome !

Have loved my experience with The Shade. I use the Light Ash Brown shade and seems to be the most natural colour I’ve been able to find in a long time - it’s still a little darker than my natural colour (my goal) but the lighter shades looks too light - it would be good to have something in between? The colour doesn’t start to fade until about 3-4 weeks and covers my grey well until this time. My hair still seems to be in good condition so definitely feels salon worthy.

I received my trial pack and I was happy with the color quality. However I ordered a trial pack for my mum as she wanted to try the color as well. Unfortunately I received an email couple of days after saying my order has been canceled. Only because it was the same address as mine! That is very unprofessional and disappointing. I will cancel my subscription.

Colour wasn't what I was expecting (much lighter then expected, especially in the roots) and colour comes out with every wash since. However, hair felt healthy and fresh straight after colouring and kit was easy enough to use. :)

Love the colour i chose Covers greys well. I like the look of it. And the endless shine after each wash. Not at all like colour in a box from a chemist.

The greys were starting to invade, so I decided it was time for a change. I love my natural hair colour but I thought I would take the opportunity to go darker and I love it. My hair is so shiny and looks so healthy and I am so happy with the results!

Very poor customer service and communication manners, no post purchase care and total lack of responsibility for missing package due to company's shipping setup choices (They don't require signature on delivery so if your package gets missing - oh well, not their problem...) Great products, but due to above reasons prefer to source somewhere else. Please someone train Craig on how to communicate with customers, this experience was embarrassing...
