“Very pleased with the kit! I cannot get over how shiny my hair looks! It comes with everything you could need to colour at home. My colour Genoa (6), came out a lot darker than the swatch, closer to Bellagio (3). However, the colour itself is very nice and multidimensional. I will only buy hair colour again from The Shade!”

“it was,nt actually a ''free trial '''I joined the subscription plan right away because they have a ...cancel at anytime ..clause .I tried it out last night only using half the contents of everything and I must say I am impressed .The actual contents of the pack are good quality products .I have already recommended to my two daughters so that in itself is a good review .”

“My hair although in a good condition was reddish due to using Henna As my greys were no longer being covered well I have used Shade number 8 Sicily All greys are covered well All red out of my hair Hair looks healthy It’s not quite the no 8 color but definitely will be once I use Sicily a few more times”

“Loved the salon accessories and process. First colour was too dark, they were very helpful and gave me advice to correct that and also to pre-soften which I do now and which finally gets me excellent, lasting grey coverage. Thanks!”

“Wasn’t sure what the result would be, but I was after a more ashy blonde as my blonde was starting to look a bit brassy. So I tried the San Remo after consulting with Camilla. The result looks like ive had a toner put on my hair - it’s definitely more ashy so it has delivered. Also my hair feels lovely. Will continue using 😊”

“I am very happy with my first experience using Shade. My daughter and I had a "hair" day; she did mine;I did hers. Colour was beautiful, it was easy to use( even for ME), the kit contained very useful items. Only one small criticism and that was I found the hook on the end of the brush more of a hindrance than a help. If the colour lasts I shall be keeping my permanent order. Maree.”

“Really great colour guidance, loved the quick and easy ordering and delivery as well as the very clearly set. Out instructions and labeled packs in the box. Think it's fantastic that you include the shampoo and conditioner for the first wash and the barrier oil and hair removal wipes were very helpful! Would give a 5 but for the not so great set of plastic gloves that come in the pack, would have preferred a set of black latex to give me better control over the brush etc and the cape being plastic was not very breathable making my shoulders and back quite hot while trying to do my hair in the bathroom on a hot day! Little things I know but details I remember. Overall really impressed!”

“I am very impressed by the overall product and packaging. Having used the colour today, I cannot vouch for how long it might last but I was happy with the result achievwd today. Also, there is plenty of product for those with long hair. The real bonus for me was the fact that there was no nasty chemical smell or burn on my scalp when I applied and let the product develop on my hair. For that alone, I would recommend this colour kit to anyone who colours at home either regularly or occasionally.”

“The packages are gorgeous. The only thing that I felt could be better with the packaging was the horrible gloves included. I think black gloves latex or recycled plastic would be so much better. The product was beautiful to use, I ordered a dark ash brown which it suggested would balance the red tones in my hair. It didn’t reduce the red tones however it is still a lovely deep colour. I was very pleasantly surprised by the transaction, but do not colour my hair regularly enough to continue with the established membership periods. It would be excellent if we could set our own distribution times, I would then be happy to continue a membership. Beautiful product, highly recommended.”

“I loved the packaging - it had everything I needed like hair clips, a cover for my shoulders, oil for my hair line - a complete salon experience at home. The product itself didnt have too strong of a smell but it definitely was not enough for anyone with hair longer than shoulder length or with thick hair. It didnt make a huge difference to my hair colour but my hair does have lighter tones to it now.”

“A luxe hair colouring kit This is a great little hair colouring kit, definitely a cut above the standard supermarket offerings. I was selected as part of the trial team, and chose the second darkest shade, Natural black brown. When the kit arrived, I was impressed with the accessories that were sent along with the colouring kit – A bowl and application brush, hair sectioning clips, front fastening shoulder cape and plastic mat to catch spills were included, all packaged in a nifty little drawstring bag. The kit itself arrived in a neat black cardboard box, which has quite a luxury look to it. The product itself was very simple to use, your standard ‘mix developer and colourant together and apply’ scenario. I experienced no irritation from this colourant and the colour itself is beautiful, a true neutral black/brown, without a hint of orange/red undertone to it. I’ve marked it down by one star from a perfect review for two reasons – I struggled to do my entire head of hair with one kit (I do however, have long hair) and it has taken a couple of washes for the excess dye to be completely gone, without runoff. Otherwise, an excellent product! Any Tips?: If you have long hair, you’re probably going to want two kits 🙂 Ideal For…: People who love getting their colour on, but like to do it themselves!”
