“I was very happy with the speed & quality of the delivered product. The kit, especially the cape, were great. The hair Colour product was easy to use and had NO chemical smell. I loved the conditioner. My hair feels healthy and has a shine to it. I did find that the light brown colour is much darker than I expected. I will order a lighter shade next time.”

“I loved the consistency and how long it has lasted. The bowl, mat and brush were a good bonus. I found the cape too small. It should be much longer. The colour recommended was the colour I thought I should use but I found it came out too dark. I needed at least 1-2 shades lighter. Other than that it was great. I will definitely use again.”

“The kit is great and really helpful. The consistency of the product is perfect , nice and thick so it doesn’t drip. The brush application was easy and effective. I really liked the barrier oil. Hair feels great and the colour is nearly what I wanted but definitely and definitely 100%better than what I had been using Definitely happy to have found “the shade””

“I really love the colour and the quality of the product. The only thing I would say otherwise is that the colour pictured in the website on the model isn't very close to the actual colour. I chose the colour based on the other photos, which means that I wasn't disappointed. But if I'd chosen it based on the standard model it would have been very different (the model's colour is very much lighter).”

“The colour was nice, even and there wasn't a strong smell either. I have a very sensitive scalp and didn't have a reaction or sensitivity. The colour (Golden Copper Brown) was a little too copper for me, but my hair was mostly grey so probably why it turned out more vibrant but covered all the grey well. Nice colour though anyway and definitely a salon colour and quality.”

“I was so pleased the result of my hair colour Dark Ash Blonde, it covered my greys too. I love the kit with the bag so handy, and no ammonia smell! The shampoo and conditioner makes my hair so soft. So glad I found Shade and definitely will recommend.”

“First time colouring my own hair. Was a bit awkward doing myself as had to manoeuvre back blindly. Hair was very knotted after shampoo and I would suggest 2 sachets for longer hair. Conditioner was ample. Colour gave me 100% grey coverage and colour looked very natural. I received many complements. Did I mention 100% grey coverage. So so happy!!”

“I was relatively pleased with my experience using The Shade, however, I think it would be more beneficial for darker hair colours than blondes as there wasn't anything included for toning the blonde (it lifted my root colour a decent amount but to a slightly orange tone). The colour I used was an ash blonde however my hair didn't go as ashy as I'd have expected, this could be because my hair wasn't light enough. I wish that they had a larger range of colours, the ability to pick specific colours rather than doing the quiz to choose one, and perhaps something for toning the hair (even if it came for an extra cost). The developer I received was 20 volume developer so not too harsh on the hair.”
