Easy to chose and order from beginning to end. The guy measuring and going through my options was thoughtful and knowledgeable - he kept me up to date with his ETA. Pricing was explained and measurements were accurate so that Adrian Boardmant could put the blinds up quickly. All debris was cleared away. The roof blinds look great and hide the rather tired (awful) roof that came with the ancient conservatory perfectly. Having these has made a HUGE difference to blocking the heat in my conservatory. Very happy bunny. I am truly surprised by the bad reviews - I had completely the opposite experience.

This is the by far the worst Company I have dealt with - they came to quote on a Skylight Blind on the 23d of March 2021 - I was told once I paid the deposit the fitter would be with us in 72 hours, this took a further 10 days and when he did arrive he was without a ladder the basic of tools to measure the Skylight, we re booked a further fitter to arrive which took a week later and for me to make all of the calls! this fitter never turned up and when I called Thomas Sanderson they said the height was to high and THEY wished to cancel the order - Breach of Contract - DO NOT USE OR RECCOMEND THOMAS SANDERSON - Even after spending over £8000 with them in the last five years, this accounts for nothing - appalling service from start to finish. Still awaiting a refund and follow-up since the 16th of April Mr Paul Whittle

I shopped around and finally decided to go with Thomas Sanderson. We got the price down quite a lot the salesperson was good. The fitter took 2 days to do the install of 24 panels. The build quality is very good. Would use again.

They didn't. They sold us blinds costing over £5000 all supposed to be electric but when they arrived some were manual only due to shape. No refund offered. They charge astronomical costs for repairs and recently one small blind needed re stringing and they insisted it had to be removed by an engineer and replaced by engineer. My husband explained he was capable of removing blind and replacing and all we needed was re stringing. They wanted £242.00 for repair of a 30 minute job. They don't offer just a repair service you have to pay for engineer. Even if you agree to take full responsibility. We have since heard about the company and there devious way of operating. Don't touch the company it's all about commissions.

Installation date May 2022, very happy with the work initially, however, the customer after care is terrible. Communication is 0/10. Shutter is too closed to the double glazed window, very difficult in turning the key and removing it, when I need to open and shut the window. The initial Surveyor came to inspect after a number of calls to customer service, when he came he took pictures and said he would report back to head office - he didn't. Another Surveyor came on Friday, he agreed with me but said I could pull the shutter frame back a little to turn the key and remove it, what utter nonsense, over time the frame would be out of place and damaged, it is now Thursday and not heard anything from Thomas Sanderson, I guess I'm going to have to ring them tomorrow. You would think the Surveyor would have taken the window lock into consideration when he came to take measurement/surveyor the window, after all it is meant to be bespoke shutters - which means "Custom Made" Very disappointed with after care and the fact that it is meant to be bespoke shutters.

Did not communicate well, should have been presented with real pictures. I wanted tier to tier shutter but ending up with whole piece shutter type. Very disappointed. Also TS missed some of the shutter frames. Cannot finish all by Christmas. Told to wait until Jan to install again the missing parts.

Fortunately I didn't actually order my blinds from them as the consultation left me with no assurance of their capability. I assumed Thomas Sanderson were an incredibly high quality company and my neighbour had just had blinds fitted in her conservatory so recommended. The Sales Rep turned up in a scruffy pair of jeans and denim shirt which made me look twice at his card to make sure it was who I was expecting. He had only been with the company a month so was not sure they could do the blinds to fit, and had to rely on a WhatsApp group to ask. He then forgot his box of samples and rang me the next day to say he would collect them. Overall he was very polite but did not know his product and should not have been out on his own. All I then got from Sanderson's was a text asking me to reply to it if I was interested. Very very unprofessional. He never turned up for the samples so I am left with a boxful of them. If anyone has a doll's house they would like refurbished in Thomas Sanderson blinds then I have just the thing! Glad we went with a local family firm.

Big on getting their salesman out to visit you but unable to provide installation in acceptable time scale. If you can’t provide the service don’t keep taking orders. Promises of being contacted within 72 hours never transpired and had to be phoning them for any information about measurements appointment. My advice is go elsewhere unless you are happy to wait months before the product is installed.

Possibly my worst shopping experience, they fail on many levels. The product is good, made in the UK too but the lack of customer service and tedious installation process has left me tearing my hair out. Such a shame as to be able to order blinds made in Coventry was a significant decider. To detail each failure would send me to sleep, but suffice to say they don't call back when requested, are poor at communicating, do not respond to email requests, fail to turn up on installation appointments... I just only hope I don't have any issues with the blinds that have been installed.

Good product, but oh my, could their customer service and support system be any worse... I've personally lurched from one disappointing situation to another with them. Their Trustpilot reviews look overall good, but to be expected when reviews on this system are by invitation only... I can imagine overall they only invite the happy customers to leave reviews. For the cost of the product you'd expect much much more and don't expect a response to emails within 48 hours despite being advised this is the best way to contact them...

I spent over £4,000 installing pleated blinds in my conservatory in 2011. The came with 5-year guarantee. One of the motorised roof blinds has stopped working so I called Sanderson assuming they would repair it but at my own cost as they were out of guarantee. I was told that they could not help me as do not offer a repair service and there are no installers in my area. What sort of company offers no after sales service? I was fully prepared to pay for the cost of fixing them but now find I cannot get them repaired. So anyone considering installing Sanderson blinds should be warned that once they are out of guarantee, they cannot be repaired and you will be faced with having to buy a replacement set.

I wish I could give 0 star. They are really unprofessional company. I have place order and they took half the invoice money. Wait 5 week for installation day, I have received few email just before that day to confirm installation day and just few minutes before the time on the day. Installer person text and cancelled the appointment. Then it take 4 week for next appointment and on that day they came without my shutters and instead tell us the one we made it wouldn’t fit and we need to remeasure your windows or we can cancel your order. Still I haven’t got my money back too. I recommend stay away from this company. There are many better people can do your work.

Not quite sure why this company has such good reviews. It's why we chose them initially but all I can think is that they're a scam. They're along the lines of double glazing companies, they'll send around a sales person when you make an enquiry. This sales person will be very nice and friendly but will know absolutely nothing about what is actually possible as they're not the ones who will do the work. The person we had gave us one quote, then we asked her about some additional blinds which meant she had to re-quote. She then tried to charge us more for all the individual blinds instead of just adding on an additional blind until we queried the price as our first quote was valid for 3 months. We liked the blinds so decided to go with T.S and paid our deposit. We then had the specialist surveyor around (the people that should actually be sent around in the first place since they know what's actually possible!). This guy turned around and said the measurements the first woman gave were wrong (in a few places!) and some of the windows were too large to have 1 blind on it. He wrote down that we were miss-sold and said that someone would get in touch with us. No one has got in touch with us! We had to call them and ask for the surveyor to call us and discuss our options, we were told that he would call us but still haven't had a response. It's nearly a month later and they still have our deposit. This is terrible service, avoid this company! *Update: Called for refund and was told it was "requested yesterday as we can't fulfil your order as requested" So the surveyor couldn't be bothered to talk us through other options, no one called us to tell that the order was just being cancelled and it took them over a month for which I've been charged on credit card and still have to wait 10-14 days to get it back. FAIR WARNING, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Absolutely disgusting Had to have a second appointment with a design consultant because the first one was deficient in giving me the appropriate information. She was also extremely difficult to contact by phone despite having given me her mobile phone number. Installer had to also come twice as he initially came after the initial design consultants visit and I had not been given sufficient information for him to proceed. Finally installed on a very rainy day and the wrong colour brackets were installed instead of the ones I had ordered Have tried to contact company umpteen times this morning with no success AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE Dr Tilly

Do not spend thousands of pounds on Thomas Sanderson blinds if you expect any kind of after sales service. They do not give any help or advice, in fact they are just not interested in any problems that you have. They just offer to quote you for new blinds!!! WORSE COMPANY EVER
