They lied said they shipped it out I paid for 2 day shipping it has been 2 Weeks I have called and they keep saying I’m still being processed then when I called to cancel they were so rude saying they didn’t want to sell to me anyway and told me to go somewhere else and all I wanted to do was cancel bc they ya my sent me a thing they are a waste of time and I will be spreading the new about the like Covid

Like the majority of the latest reviews, do not waste your time or especially your money ordering from Thompson Cigars. I placed an order 2 weeks before needing them, paid extra for 3 day shipping, changed my order to items stated to be in stock, was advised by order confirmation they would arrive 7 days from order date, which would have been fine, but heard nothing further from them. I looked online to see that one of the items had been back ordered, but others were still not processed. So I tried to call them, but customer service did not answer. Was prompted to online chat, so was able to chat with Edison. He was helpful, and seemed to assist me with my problem, stating he re-processed the order (whatever that meant) and advised the order would process in time. I advised him that if the order was not shipped by the next day, he needed to cancel the order. He also advised me, after I asked him, that he would press in a 2 day order. I thanked him and ended the chat. I also has a transcript of the chat emailed to me. Next day got an email showing the promo item part of the order was shipping out that day, but it showed a ground ship from the east coast to my WA home, and it would take a week+. I tried to call immediately with no answer, was not able to get an answer via phone, so sent an email to customer service with copy of chat transcript. No response. Day later tried another email, call, and chat with out luck. This time chat stated not available at that time. The next day, after again no email reply, tried to call without an answer, but was able to reach via online chat. This time chatted with Dennis, who was pleasant, but not able to help me. Apologized that the promo item shipped ground by error. I will refuse upon delivery and get credit thorough visa company. Again, do not waste your time or money.

The customer service is awful. I placed an order, then 10 days later learned it was not released from the system. They assured me the order would be released and sent overnight. Well, that didn’t happen. Called on Wednesday and they said that they screwed up and would be sent overnight. Well, that didn’t happen. They showed up on Friday and the cigars are damaged. On with customer service now.

Extremely slow shipping. Was told it would arrive at least a week before father's day and didn't arrive until a week after. No response from customer service until after it was delivered. No issues with actual product.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT ! THEY LEAVE YOU HANGING ON THE PHONE 30 MINITES AND THEIR REPRESENTATIVES ARE RUDE AND NASTY !!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THOMPSON! BEWARE!!! Ordered, shipment never arrived, after 3 weeks they were to reship 3 weeks later got part of it they double charged me for the full amount, tried to get credit for their mistakes, they do not answer emails, repeated calls to them get nothing but lies, 2 months later no credit no cigars I paid for nothing but frustration, they still owe me my money back! BEWARE DO NOT BE A VICTIM OF THESE CROOKS!!!!

Products I have received were fine but the shipping is VERY slow, the tracking showed no movement and when you ask customer service email about it you get no response.

Overall terrible experience. Slow shipping terrible customer service by phone. Highly not recommended. Please look elsewhere for your smokes.

Stay away from Thompson Cigars for now as the quality has gone down. I was pleased with Thompson in the past, but not now based on my latest experiences. Within the past month I received bad cigars. The first incident was with their 5 for deal that delivered Rocky Patels and Cohiba Reds that cracked upon punching and the wrapper coming off while smoking. The second incident was a shipment received damaged and missing a box of Romeo y Julieto. The order included a box of Plasencia cigars that same as the last experience cracked while punching and the wrapper coming off while smoking. Quality assurance is missing right now at Thompson Cigars and I plan to stay away until they fix it .

After ordering from this company several times I would never order again. I ordered a box of H.Upman select Connecticut wrapper and they sent me Natural wrapper cigars. First Matt tells me they are the same wrappers as if I dont know what im ordering. Then I tell him I needed these cigars for my dads event tonight because he lives these exact cigars. After paying extra shipping when I ordered yesterday and they came today they tell me i should get the ones i ordered by next Thursday. How is that going to help me? If they sent them overnight yesterday why can't they do the same again. Then they want me to send back the ones i ordered. So now not only am I out of the cigars I wanted but I get them four days 7 days later. Both people I spoke with were no help at all. They didn't try to help or ease my situation at all. I then find out Cigars International bought out Thompson Cigars. So I will never oder from either again and every smoker I know and every cigar club I am in will know of the terrible customer service.

Got to be fair. I received my order just one day short of a month and just one day after my negative comments Coincidence? While I am appreciative that I received my order, my comments on the non-existence of Thompson's Customer Service stand. As promised I have unsubscribed from Thompson and have already found another source(s).

Wow, I wish I had read all these reviews before I wasted my money. Like so many others, I've ordered from Thompson for years, but had no idea they'd been sold. Zero response from their customer service regarding an order I placed a month ago. Their mail tracking thing is a joke. My order didn't just get on the slow boat. That boat must have sunk. I know that orders get dropped, but no response from Thompson customer service is unacceptable. I've unsubscribed and will send any future emails from them to my junk mail. I'll be looking for another source for my purchases.

If I could give them 0 stars I would . In short my last 5 orders went amazingly wrong !!! In fact so wrong if I wrote the whole story no one would believe me . Hell im still having a hard time believing it myself . Let’s just say it can take up to two to three weeks ( and that’s with me calling every day ...I Kidd you not ) and let’s not even get going on the no help help line !!!!! Side note ...I have been ordering cigars from Thompson cigars for over 30 years and have loved them ...well that’s all in the past

Going on vacation and ordered cigars for trip. Paid extra shipping to ensure they would arrive on time. Followed the tracking number and saw they were stuck at UPS depot and called Thompson to spur UPS into moving them along. They said call UPS. Called UPS and was told complaint had to be started by Thompson. Called Thompson back and was referred to previous conversation. Charles were already billed. I disputed them and that got Thompson's attention. Six days later I got my cigars, but after I had returned from vacation. They sat at the UPS depot for 19 days. My credit card company sided with Thompson on the charges and I appealed the shipping charges because they were not in my hands on the date as guaranteed. I would not have complained if Thompson had not brushed me off TWICE and had done their job. I did not have to pay shipping and now Thompson has me blacklisted. Their loss been buying from them 25 years.

Don't waste your time. They advertise 'deals' that are conveniently 'out of stock on' and then try to sell you higher priced cigars. It's called the ole bait n' switch. Wouldve given them 0 stars if i could.

Horrible customer service! Do not answer emails & takes over 30 min to answer phone. STAY AWAY from this mismanaged MESS of fools. Back to Ol' reliable Famous SmokeIndio

New owners. C I, & customer service is WAY lacking. Sold me cigars not on stock, never notified. Had to go on line to see never sent. Then sending me replacement for pilfered UPS pkg. Lost! I called again(20min to answer everytime), sent another & found it charged on my card! Adios TC !!!!!
