I tried to order cigars based on the price in the March 2021 catalog I was told that the price was a mistake and they would not honor the price in their catalog I asked to speak to a supervisor who called me back about 4 hours later again I was told they wouldn’t honor the price in their catalog and I was told they weren’t responsible for mis prints so I will never order from them again pretty pot customer service! I suggest you don’t do business with them!

5 pack samplers what a joke every cigar is dry and cracks as soon as you cut into it or they split open as you smoke them. Totally dry stale tobacco. They lure you in with low prices so they can get rid of cigars that should be thrown out. I'd rather pay full retail for good sticks. I never have these issues with jr cigar

This company is a JOKE! First they sent me a broken cigar cutter and when I sent it back I HAD TO PAY for shipping and they would only give me a $10 coupon that I could use on their site. So I decide to buy a pack of cigars and they were the WORST CIGARS I have ever smoked. They fall apart when you grab them and when you smoke them you end up spitting out the loose tobacco. I have noooo clue why they are still in business!

What a scam. Company seems ripe for a dtpa class law suit. Not sure what state they are based in but they are scamming clients every day.

Folks, I'm posting this in several areas for customer service visibility. The total rewards borders on a scam bc the popup @ purchase can be missed. Not only that, But I've Never received emails from them or the "welcome package" outlining a monthly charge . Hidden charge for 21 months borders on scam and Thompson needs to Do Better. The most offensive and hidden disrespect is there is Zero visibility of this charge In your Thompson account, order summary etc....It's pathetic and needs an investigation. I will say they are issuing me a refund and cancelled it but beware, at Every purchase it will re-appear with NO visibility. SOX Regs dictate otherwise. The charge is $14.95, check your bank statements....

I somehow got enrolled in a plan for 14.95 a month when i made an order. I cancelled it but they wont even refund the $? I dont like the shadiness of this company. You need to be clear with customers.

Ordered a box of Cuban Delights. Arrived on time packed in a nice tight wooden box. All fresh and in great shape. Good price and service. No complaints.

I, like a lot of customers above, have ordered several cigars from this place and have been completely satisfied. Orders correct, fresh and shipped on time. I made a mistake and ordered on line instead of phoning in my order. I always turn down club membership because I don't want monthly orders. Well, my wife noticed our discover card was getting hit with a monthly charge from Thompson Cigars. I wasn't paying much attention to our discover bill, duh. Well, after researching Thompson had been charging a monthly club membership for over a year. Why? They said when I ordered online I must have clicked on some kind of accept...I wasn't even getting samples or anything sent to me monthly. I complained. To their credit they refunded me no questions asked. I complained, what a scam. FYI>>> They use a third party to monitor and tag people without their knowledge for club membership. I tried getting thru to a Thompson's supervisor or any Thompsons employees... Yeah, good luck with that. My situation was corrected. I just want everyone to know to keep an eye out because I'm sure this is a common practice of Thompsons Cigars. My orders will now be made to other companies like Cigar International... Thompson I'm done. No more orders from me.... Pat Dixon

Will not order from this company again! Started with them a few months ago and have spent hundreds of dollars, I pay extra to have something 2nd shipped and doesn’t come for 8 days. A sorry would of been acceptable, but seems they use some Indian phone service who blames me for ordering on a Friday and try’s to convince me the weekend doesn’t count at all and will be here the next Saturday?? Where’s the 2 days at when it took 8? F them no respect

I made an order with Thompson only because they had a supply for the cigars I wanted. I received a shipping notification and tracking number which, when I tracked it, indicated that the order had been delivered to some unknown address a month before I made the order! I emailed the company - no response. I called customer service who informed me they had no idea where my package was and to wait two week whereupon they would initiate an investigation. Seriously, this is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. There are numerous other cigar retailers out there - use one of them, not Thompson.

I will be using the competitors from now on. Ordered December 31st. Received confirmation. Order was supposedly sent to USPS, but USPS never received the package. Finally shipped 1/11/21. I still I have received my order. Sent email 1/8/21 to ask when the order would ship, no response. This is the 2nd time I have placed an order. 1st time great service, this time if I could get them a -10 I would. Do not use this company.

The "Humidor Instruction Manual" that came with my humidor states, "Follow these simple steps to insure that the analog hygrometer included with your humidor is working properly". As I did not receive a hygrometer, I called Thompson Cigar. After holding forever, I was told that the humidifier was the hygrometer. There is no digital readout to calibrate on the humidifier. I called the company again and had to hold on again forever only to be told that my order did not come with a hygrometer. I asked why it states twice in the instruction manual that it is included. I was told that I was not supposed to get a hygrometer with my order. I explained that this was false advertising and the customer representative said, "Yes, mam". He also told me to purchase a hygrometer myself. I'm disappointed and questioning myself if I should return the whole thing. Poor me.

I took the time to send a concern to Thompson’s Customer Care unit and did not receive a response or acknowledgement. It has been 4 days. Apparently there is no active customer care function. That is not acceptable to me. I will simply buy from their competition.

On December 1st, I placed an order for a box of cigars with a gist set. I did receive confirmation for my order so I called a week later and was told that the item was on backorder, but would arrive before Christmas. On 12/14, I was unsure that the item would arrive in time so I called to cancel. Again, I did not receive confirmation. On 12/18, my card was charged for the purchase that I cancelled. I initiated an online chat and was told that the order was not cancelled, but I could send it back when I received it. The representative sent me a return label. On 12/24, the item showed as delivered on the tracking, however, I did not receive it. I called to report this and was told that I would have to wait until 12/31 to file a missing package report. On 12.31, I still had not received my package and called to request a refund. The representative specifically asked if I wanted a refund or a credit and I stated refund. She stated that the request was complete and I'd get a refund to the original form of payment in 3-7 days. On 1/8, I still had not received the refund, so I initiated a chat again and was told that the refund was processed as a credit and would have to be sent as a check, that I would get in 2-3 weeks! I don't know that I am ever going to get a refund, I don't believe the item was ever shipped and I think this is a scam website.

I placed a large order on December 26 and paid for 2 day business delivery. That would have made delivery date on December 29th. when i made the purchase the product was "in stock". Today is January 6th and i not have the order and my order tracking says it will be January 9th. I sent an email to customer service and never got a response. I called today and spent a half hour on the phone with customer service and she had extreme difficulty finding my order due to repeated errors on her part entering my phone number. No supervisor was available to respond to my concerns and it would be 24-48 hours before i heard from a supervisor. It has been the worst customer service experience i have ever had. This will be my last order with Thompson Cigar.

Thompson cigar cound not verify my age at 51 years old with an easy to proove and verify profile. Also stated after canceling order they would not delete accout meaining the hold their customers Private information to include credit card information. If you care about the security of your information I would highly recommend using a coplany they manages this both in an ethical and legal way

It's New Years day,..I am out of cigars.I called ,..no answer.Go to the website. Try to order Avanti Anisette, 3 boxes of 50. It would only let me order 1.I ordered none.What a fucked up website!!!
