The total value scam is a real deal breaker. $14.95 a month for nothing. I'll never buy from Thompson cigar again

THOMPSON CIGAR DUPLICATE CHARGED ME OVER $80. ALMOST A MONTH LATER THEY STILL WON'T REMOVE THE DUPLICATE CHARGE EVEN AFTER 10 EMAILS SENT TO THEM. DO NOT NOT NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

I have nothing good to say about Thompson Cigar. Since they were taken over by STG, there service and Philippine customer service are absolutely atrocious. I placed an online order for a Humidor on August 8th, that has yet to be received. Tuesday, August 10th I received an email stating that to process and ship this humidor, I needed to send them age verification for myself and the recipient. For several hours I tried faxing these verifications but they would not go through so I decided to email them instead. Thompson verification acknowledged receipt of them. Unfortunately Thompson notified me that they shipped the humidor to my billing address and not the party that it was purchased for. I immediately notified them that the shipping address was wrong hoping that they would resolve it but all of my emails and phone calls proved to be a huge waste of time and effort. I requested to speak with a supervisor multiple times and I was told they will get back to me, but no one has. Over a week later and I still do not have the humidor so I decided to use a different company. Little did I know that Pipes and Cigars was an affiliate company of Thompson Cigar, and so the order that I placed on Friday and was promised that it would be expedited as a way of making up the horrible and horrendous ordeal I endured with Thompson, unfortunately my order as of Tuesday, 08/24/2021, still has not been shipped. I will never use either company again because I feel that they are not reputable, honest or trustworthy. They lack courtesy, professionalism and respect for there customers. They are absolutely awful and I’m sorry that I ever dealt with them. I am also not happy with sending my private, privileged and confidential information to complete strangers that I honestly don’t know how or what they will do with this information and how they will discard it. I also do not see the need to provide this information simply to purchase an empty humidor. I feel that there business practices are offensive and disgraceful

If you are like me after a long day or during special event enjoy a good cigar , then don’t buy from Thompsoncigars.com they lure you in by constant bombardments of poor selections, I have spent over $2000 with Thompson cigar 85% which has been throwing garbage, they are un Smokable Save your money shop others

Watch out for scam they enroll you in this total value scam. You dont see it coming. Its 14.95 a month and they just take it out of your checking account. This could cause a multitude of problems like NSF checks. Dont go on website please go somewhere else. By the way first delivery was great. Second never happened. Ruin your week or month and order from Thomson cigars.

I changed the address that was online but they sent to the wrong address anyway. I called and got them to stop the shipment. I got an email from UPS that confirmed this. I also called Thompson when I did not get a credit. They also verbally confirmed that the cigars were returned. I have been fighting with my credit card company and it appears no one is even looking at my documentation.

Paid for priority shipping. They never actually shipped. 2 weeks later i called and they slandered usps blaming them three different times. All just lies. Would NOT RETURN MONEY just wanted a chance to do their job again. Thx finally mailed my priority 2.5 weeks late got here in two days THANK USPS. Thompson is obviously poorly organized and very poorly managed. I WILL USE INTERNATIONAL CIGARS IN FUTURE!!!!

They got a 2 because of bad business practices. Been ordering for years. Received a phone call i had a balance from 2019 when their system failed to charge sakes tax which I did not know. It was stated to be thats its more than 90 days old and will go into collections. First of all never heard of this and when its their mistake they use collections. Was not happy.

I made an online purchase on 04/11/2021 of an sampler of cigars. As this is my first time purchasing cigars. I was purchasing for my father's Bday which was 05/04. I was told that my card on file did not process about 2 weeks from initial order dat. I give new card info and was told my order was processing and should be recieved 7 days later. Ok so multiple weeks pass by and still nothing. I decide to email about my order, and in reply recieved false info about my order. In email I asked that they just cancel the order as this is becoming a headache. A supervisor called me and talked me into giving them another opportunity to fulfill my order and also included a $20 dollar discount code. I wait 2 more weeks and nothing ! I decide to order something else and I recieved that item in less then 7days. My online account just says that my order is been processed since 04/11/2021. I was never told the item was on back order or out of stock and giving the choice to choose between other samplers. I just completely canceled the order today ! The worst online shopping experience ever !!!!! Do Better Thompsoncigar.com !

Thompson Cigar has been my provider for a few years. I recently made a mistake on an order to a client. It was my mistake. They recalled the UPS and sent the cigars to the right place at no cost to me. No one else would do this. No one.

I received the Dominican Toro Mixed Sampler all the cigars were soft and not tightly rolled. I tried the Don Augusto and it burned quickly and it was hard to stay lit. I have ordered from Thompson before and the cigars were amazing with great flavor.

Have used 15 years. Placed usual $200 order on May 28 and paid extra for 3-5 day delivery. Called them 10 days later asking where is the order. They told me it was held up due to an AR from 2019. Asked them how can this be? You have my CC on file and I approve the amount you tell me. Got no where, and asked for a manager. Same results. Already placed a $200 order with JR cigars. Good by Thompson. You lost a long time customer.

I have been doing all my cigar purchases with Cigars International, and was told to try Thompson Cigar. Horrible experience so far. Placed an order last week, and the website shows processing, and customer service does not respond to inquires. I would have had my cigars by now if I had used Cigars International.

Ordered a few cigars March 21st. They were on a 30 day backorder, fine by me. 2 months later, no update, no communication, no update in status. I expect my cancellation process to be as smooth as my 2 month wait.

Fake Advertising. Tried their sampler promotional offer. $29.99 for cigars and humidor. Ordered online for total $39.99. Received an email confirmation and link to track shipping. It has been 28 days and nothing further. When I called they said it is back ordered and could be 1-3 months. But they also said they cancel orders if not available in 3 months. Suggested a different sampler that was in stock for $79.99. I received the same offer in the mail again today! This is just false advertising to get people to go to their site. Waste of time. Use a local shop!

Terrible customer service. I ordered from them, and needed age verification at 64 years old. I was a previous customer?? Sent them a pic of my driver's license, and then they just cancelled my order. POS company. Use JR cigars.

Ordered cigars on April 03 with 4-5 day shipping... waited a few days and never received a confirmation email. Emailed them on April 13 asking about that status because the website still said "processing" and the tracking number from the post office said they hadn't received a package from the vendor. The first rep told me to wait until the 16th to see if they arrived. After the cigars didn't arrive on the 16th i asked again. Didn't hear anything back until the 18th and the Thompson Rep told me their was a problem with the shipper and that they would file a dispute. Then 1 minute later I received a confirmation from Thompson confirming my order from the 3rd. Then when I asked that it was an odd coincidence they confirmed the order while blaming the shipper they changed their story and said the cigars where on back order and that some of my stuff was on the way. The next day I got a email saying they had finally shipped from Thompson but of course no tracking email from the Shipper. Its the 20th and I still haven't received my order and of course when I've asked for a refund they didn't even acknowledge the question. Terrible company to do business with and the Reps are not genuine or honest.

This is the worse company you will ever deal with. I ordered cigars in 2019 paid for expedited shipping UPS did not deliver it showed on there website still in transit for 30 days, I asked the company to issue refund they said we will not issue refund and I had to dispute with credit card company. I gave these guys second chance ordered cigars on 4/8/2021 and paid for 3 day shipping I called them on 4/13/2021 on an update for the delivery operator said order was on hold because of the previous issue, I did not receive any email that their was any issue. Worse company do deal with

Cigars were satisfactory. Generally, I think the product to price is a little better at JR Cigars, but Thompson sales can be good. It just depends on when I buy. For some reason I get a "use tax liability" statement on purchases from Thompson from the State of residence, but I never get those with others. Taxes are charged with all purchases I have made, so I do not understand why this just happens with Thompson. Makes me a little less likely to buy from Thompson.
