“CSR constantly tell lies to amuse you with absolutely no intention of honoring their word. This is constantly, I can't remember a time when I wasn't lied to aboutnot having to sens a damaged item back, to being told that I'd be given a full refund when in all actuality, I was give a partial due to no fault of my own.”

“Order #1025063917 First time costumer, decided to give it a try. Never again. Combo deal came with a completely different than advertised humidor and a fuel can that they offered me without mentioning it was a 0.6 worthless free sample size. Explanation given: "Sometimes when we dont have the item your purchased in stock, we'll send you something else". No warning. Way to attract new custumers. Scammers.”

“I have bought cigars from a lot of online shops and Thompson Cigars is by far the worst in terms or customer service. We got my account locked for no explanation and they refused to ship my order even after taking my money. I called their customer service to ask for a refund and they told me to dispute the charge through my bank which will take up to 45 days. I have reported them to BBB. Stay away from them. It’s not worth the headache.”

“Very inconsistent cigars quality.. some bundles are just fine, others are really bad made. And the worst is the shipping companies that they used... USPS take forever, for what I paid I can get USPS 2nd day shipping, sometime I need to wait 7 days before getting the order...”

“I have ordered cigars from Thompson cigars for years. However, recently when I order a product that says it is stock, but really isn’t, they send me whatever they have in inventory. I like Connecticut wrappers, but they sent a darker cigar that I don’t care for. I have never written a bad review before, but I can’t take it anymore.”

“Bought 3 boxes of my favorite CAO America cigars. To my surprise they are sooo dry I can barely smoke them. Never again Thompson. Buyer Beware!!!”

“They sent me the driest cigars I've ever tried to smoke. I ended up throwing them all out. I would be better off buying swisher sweets from the convenience store. I only left one star because a negative 5 wasn't an option. Horrible company that should be shut down!”

“I would give no stars if offered. Today I noticed a recurring $14.95 on my credit card from "Affinion" in Bethlehem, Pa. Apparently, despite my NEVER clicking approval for a free period of anything, a recurring bill after a free trial I never participated in appeared on my credit card bill. AMEX had the number as 484-471-9713 and no one answered until I did this repeatedly. SHAME on Thompson. SHAME. Absolute nonsense and I would offer B.S. You'll never get a dime again from me.”

“Ordered some combo cigar package. It was like $19.99. They took the money out of account. Then I got an email it was backordered. This happened 2 or 3 times maybe. In the meantime I received a cutter. I never got the cigars and my account was never charged. Today they called about my $8.99 balance for the cutter. This transaction took place in 2019. We're now in 2022. I honestly completely forgot about even ordering the cigars. I told her I would spend $10 to send her the 99 cent cutter back before I would pay for it. I thought it was like "here our free gift to you" for all the aggravation. It was so long ago I don't know if it did say that or I just assumed. Like I said I completely forgot about even ordering the cigars. But why no bill EVER? No phone call EVER. Til now 3 years later. Like they were waiting hoping people would just pay it. After I lost it she cleared account and offered me $10 coupon. I told her I wanted nothing from them ever.”

“BUYER BEWARE. When you go to the Thompson Cigar and make a purchase. Thompson Cigar will give your CC information to (DIRECT MARKETING-CONTINUITY SUBSCRIPTION MERCHANTS) this 3rd party company will start charging your account $14.95 per month. I contacted Thompson cigar told me that they were not responsible for this charge and told me to contact (DIRECT MARKETING-CONTINUITY SUBSCRIPTION MERCHANTS) told me sorry we will stop charging. Direct Marketing will continue to charge your account. Your CC Company will recommend canceling your card to stop the charges. Why in the world would a company give your CC info to a 3rd party company? Read your reviews about (DIRECT MARKETING-CONTINUITY SUBSCRIPTION MERCHANTS) before purchasing from Thompson Cigar.”

“If I could give zero stars and leave a review I would. They place an ad for a $145 value for $29.99. Try to order and it's a bait and switch scam. They never have this deal. "We're out of that package, but we can sell you the $79 package." They shouldn't be in business at all. Judging by the reviews I've seen after researching when I figured they were using underhanded sales tactics it seems like the BBB should and will be on them when enough people like me report them.”

“They sell dried cigars that are unsmokable. I purchased Gilberto oliva which is a top brand and the arrived dry an hard to draw. This is my third bad experience with TC. Buy from your local cigar shop where you can go back and complaint if necessary. I will not buy from them ever again.”

“Purchased 250 Thompson Cigar sampler, fifty per bundle. First bundle awful. Cigar D’s are like a rock. So tightly made you cannot draw and light them. Just awful. Customer service no help money thrown away. Stay away from the new Thompson Cigar company. Sad,but true. Jay, Denver”

“Awful customer service combines with fraudulent selling practices. They use bait and switch on cigar samplers. You won't get what it listed as they'll switch out half the cigars for inferior brands without telling you.”
