“I just received my first shipment and the packaging alone gets ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The sake is accompanied by flash cards that have all the info you need about each bottle. The kit also contains an awesome informative booklet on sake production. I have learned so much just by unpacking. My journey has just begun and I couldn’t be more ecstatic 🤩 🍶 📖”

“Learned to love Sake during business trips to Japan. Tippsy Sake provides a nice selection with great background info I was missing since I got it from Japanese colleagues - the samplers have been well received by friends who love wine but were relatively sake naive -- will continue to buy from you”

“I am currently living in Japan and bought a sample box for my family for Christmas! It arrives fully intact and on time. The bottles were all lovely to look at and each came with a card describing how it tasted and what foods to pair each nihonshu with, as well as a large packet with other info, like how to serve the drinks warm. Very pleased I was able to share some Japanese culture with them even as I wasn’t able to visit this year”

“The package came within in it’s expected delivery date and the sake was secure inside. I didn’t really need it but they sent a monthly subscription voucher that already expired last February. All in all everything was pretty straightforward. I like how they listed the best dates to order things for the holidays.”

“I live in a part of the US where getting good sake is not possible. Finally I'm able to treat myself!I cannot shut up about my sake. It was shipped in a sturdy box, the info provided for each bottle is absolutely FASCINATING, and the quality--can we talk about the quality--amazing! I'm so happy I found this company, thank you so much! I had big dreams of traveling to Japan this year and it's not really possible and this company has definitely filling the travel hole in my heart. THANK YOU!!”

“As a company, i think you are swell. But having lived in Japan for many years, I have found some you your sake selections disappointing. Too sweet when I have ordered dry, many are too mild, lacking the robustness and depth I prefer. Perhaps these are selected for a milder more American pallet? My husband, who is Japanese, ( born and raised) agrees. We would like to continue ordering, but I'm just not sure.”

Hello Cheryl, Thank you for your candid feedback! We are curious as to which specific brands you would love to see us carry, as we are in the process of adding more than 100 more sake to our portfolio in the coming months. Please do feel free to suggest sake that you love, (as long as they are not the un-pasteurized nama category, as those normally are recommended to be refrigerated all the way so it's difficult for us to carry logistically, and we don't carry the 1.8L size as those break easily and the selections are too few) and we would be happy to consider carrying them. Thank you for ordering from Tippsy! We believe that our selection is just the beginning in exploring the vast products that are available, and aspire eventually to carry every sake that is available in the U.S.
