“The sake was excellent. But the shipping was slow and expensive ($15 I believe). While my girlfriend and I love the idea of keeping some sake at home for a nice meal, I don't think I'd be willing to pay $15 S&H for each time I order a sake online - seems wasteful to me. Also, I will keep looking for a more fruity taste.”

“My order wasn't processed within three days after ordering online, which is understandable due to the holidays, but I did want some sort of update as to an ETA, as the website said it would be processed within three days. But so I contacted customer support and Rui got it going immediately and was very apologetic and helpful. My purchase, which was a gift to someone, arrived soon thereafter. The gift recipient was very happy with the gift.”

“It was the first time I used your place to ship out the gift....so I will see how it goes... Since I live at NYC....but most of my relatives are all in Calif....I thought your place may be the best to use to ship out the gifts... “My order was a bit more work than both side had hoped for. I ordered a gift set that came in a really cute box! However, the packing was thin and one of the bottles ended up breaking during the shipment. I reached out to Tippsy’s support and they immediately sent a replacement. However a further misunderstanding happened when I refused the whole shipment and only got a replacement bottle. I messaged their support again and today I received all three bottles! All safe! The shipping date was fast and the support was so kind and helpful. One of the best support lines I’ve experienced in a while. I was a bit worried since their shipping method is not a familiar name, but all my items (after a few misunderstandings) came in safely. The only thing that I was a bit disappointed about was that I bought this set as a gift, and the replacements did not come in the same cute box with the bottle cards. I’m not too worried about them but I had wished I could have gotten what I ordered in full. Overall a great experience!”

Thank you so much for your review. We are so sorry that we heard that the first bottle was broken. However, We are glad that you received the recovery package. The recovery package is also packed more tightly, so there may be some differences in the packing method. However, we will continue to do our best not to worry about cracking.

“I love TIppsy Sake! I think the sake subscription box idea is a super cool idea and it's definitely something that I would subscribe to! For the time being I'm not going to be subscribe to the sake box because it is not in my budget at the moment. But if I did have the money I would totally subscribe to the quarterly boxes and I totally recommend that you try it out if you like sake/trying new alcohol and have the money to afford this box every year!”

“The Nihonshu is a great package and worth enjoying! Keep it coming!! One thing that you might consider for rural shipping to those in WA State, is that the Tippsy distribution/shipper is near Seattle. I live about 2 hrs away on the Olympic Peninsula and had no idea the shipment was coming until it was attempted to deliver and I wasn't home. There needs to be a notice sent to me w/options BEFORE the driver makes the trek - or switch to UPS/FEDEX who have drop points in our area. thanks, james kelly”
