Thanks for your review, Robin. During the summer (July - Sept), we use temperature-controlled delivery to ensure the quality of the product. This takes additional time to ship your package - but we believe it is a crucial process. We truly appreciate your understanding and we hope you enjoyed your sake!

“My experience from bad to good. As someone who is spoiled by Amazon, their shipping cannot compete. They are up front about their shipping times and have been accurate so far so adjust your expectations accordingly. Their prices are competitive, but nothing special. Bottles I have been able to find at other places have similarly priced, if you are looking for a bargain Tippsy does run specials and sales so check those out. Now on to where Tippsy excels, information! As much as I love sake, I can't ready Japanese so picking up a bottle at the store was a random pick at best but here I can find all the info I could want about a sake short of actually tasting it. Tippsy also excels in selection. Compared to wine, sake isn't as popular in the US so a store may have a half dozen varieties or so, but here I have plenty to explore.”

“Finally a great resource for a wide variety of sake! The descriptions, and information about each sake brewery is indispensable. “I placed an order (Order #21955) and subsequently received an email with a tracking number. I was so happy that I scheduled a party with my relatives for my birthday on the day when it is supposed to arrive. Unfortunately, my order did not arrive. It was a frustrating weekend. Unreliable- I will not recommend this store.”

“Top notch selection, good prices, fast shipping, and a lot of information to help you learn more about what you are drinking. We love the tasting sets, they are great to either spread over multiple days or do all at once if you are really ambitious. The tastings really let you zero in on what you like and don't like and then you have a whole selection to choose from.”
