“Was alright package came when it was supposed to only thing that suck was they had to cancel part of my order because of stock issues but they can only do so much think this is a solid company. Only ordered once so take this with a grain of salt I haven’t dealt with them a lot.”

“I found Tippsy from an ad on Instagram. The website has a nice layout that’s actually easy to navigate. Since I am new to sake I read all the descriptions of each bottle they sell and decided from there. I purchased two bottles of Junmai. One was a simple $25 bottle and the other a $75 bottle. Although the $75 bottle was good the $25 was my favorite and will most likely order more of that bottle. Regarding shipping, the time to arrive was average since I’m not near their location and everything was packaged with the utmost care so nothing would break. All and all I’d give Tippsy a 4.5-5 out of 5. I had great service and would recommend this site to anyone who wants to try sake.”

“I never thought I was gonna be able to bring sake selections like this to my little corner of the south, but tippsy is the BEST resource for hard to get bottles and huge style variety. I'll be using them from now on, especially because they were so time sensitive and careful with the packaging! With tippsy, there's really no excuse to getting into sake, and it deserves as much care and attention as wine. Cheers!”

“I have ordered 4 different sets so far and all are very good hand selected selection that go great together as a night cap or with a great meal I am very impressed with the quality and service. I really like the care they take in packaging so you dont have to worry about it breaking in transit”

“So far this has been a very pleasing product. The sake is of good quality; better than the standard at many Japanese restaurants in this area. The virtual tasting videos are informative without being too long, and it is fun to compare sake from all over Japan. It is a little flavor of travel while we are stuck at home during the pandemic.”

“Tippsy itself seems like a good business, website was easy to navigate with a great amount of choices. I didn’t initially receive a confirmation email or tracking information until I reached out to them but I understand sometimes things get missed so thats not really a big deal. What changes is the delivery services they chose. They decided to use a regional service that is one of the lowest rated, uncommunicative, and just frustrating services that based off what i have read has multiple AG complaints levied towards them. The choice to use this service has increased delivery time and theres no way to get in contact with them to figure out issues with my package. Its a bad choice and unfortunately taints the concept of easy ordering and makes it more of a hassle than just acquiring the sake myself through other services or other businesses. Tippsy website, customer support 7-8.5/10 , delivery process 2/10.”

“Tippsy is great, I found them at the start of the lockdowns. They have a wonderful selection, the curated boxes and sets are interesting and have shown me some new things, and their customer service is impeccable. I'd happily recommend them to anyone (and have!).”
