“This company is fine (if you are lucky enough to actually receive your goods), unless there is a problem with your goods, and then they are a bunch of cheats and crooks who will NOT obligate any warranty.
I received an Xduoo X10 ii music player (£180+), which stopped outputting sound after three months. I was asked to video this and put it on YouTube, and if I didn't do this they wouldn't provide an address to return the item. I have a landline and computer, but no video recorder, so how can I do this? Even if I could do this, a video would not highlight an electrical fault to the sound output, as the player turns on as normal and looks normal. This fault has been confirmed by Richer Sounds technicians.
There are numerous complaints that even those who have sent videos, have received no refund or replacement.
Without doubt this is the WORST customer service I have received from any company ever. I will never buy from Tomtop again, I advise you to think twice before even considering buying from this Dodgy Chinese company.”

I bought 6 Solar Motion Lights from Tomtop, Order AA18K08X5412-EF8I06 andAA18J17M2842-4VP3EB,
One light arrived damaged and 3 other motion lights "exploded" within a month.
These solar motion lights are "fire hazard".There are many reports about them on Google causing Fire.
After many e-mails Tomtop offered to reimburse me at first only $ 5.00, later on increased the offer to $ 12.00. In fact Tomtop gave me NO REFUND at all !!! Very dishonest business selling inferior/defective quality solar motion lights, which are "exploding" and a "fire hazard".
Very sad experience indeed.”

My drone battery was sent after 9 days and it was faulty / defective / dead. As requested, I sent a detailed description and a video to the company. Kelly, in the warehouse customer service said I must pay the return shipping cost (€25) or they would offer me €4 for me to get it repaired. This was then increased to €7 and the to 50% which is €20.12.
After 3 days of arguments, several e-mails, and only after I posted negative reviews and threatened a Paypal claim, the company agreed to a full refund, but would not reinstate the points I used to part pay for the order, so I did not get the "full refund" promised. .
If you want to risk a purchase from this dispicable company, then you should use Paypal, which gives protection. If you encounter a problem, then contact Tomtop customer service. If they mess you around, then post negative reviews everywhere and threaten to file a Paypal dispute. This will get their attention. If you do not get satisfaction, register the problem with Paypal, who will review the case and has the power to refund you. If you register the problem with Paypal, DO NOT CLOSE the file unless the case is resolved to your satisfaction, as once closed, the file cannot be reopened.
I have had other successful purchases from Tomtop, but when things go wrong, their back up service is terrible. They will try everything to avoid responsibility and will try to intimidate. Stand your ground and you will eventually get what you are entitled to.”

“Fortunately, I used Paypal. I ordered a digital thermometer. After a week, the status was still "in processing" (should have been shipped within 72 hours).
I finally got them to respond and it was total BS - "we are urging the factory to push them out" and asked for 5 more days.
I immediately opened a ticket w/ Paypal and emailed all the Tomtop contacts for a cancellation. Their first response was "hey give us more time why don't you"? Totally unprofessional.

I placed an order of 14.99 USD on their website. Ten days later, received an email asking 'As the logistics has increase the prices level, would you like to pay 4 USD for the ship cost so that we can send your order.' Of course I ignored the unreasonable request. One month later when I asked online chat when would my order be shipped, the staff cancelled my order without my permission! And end the chat from its end!!!
I do not know when my money will be refunded yet.
Based on my experience with Tomtop.com, I strongly not recommend this website.”
“Beware - I paid for 'Duty Free Shipping' at £11.17 and when the item was received, Royal Mail charged a further £11.40 in customs duty.
TomTop offered £6 and would not compensate the full amount.
Opened a PayPal dispute however they do not cover postage / customs so dispute was not allowed.
This transaction has cost me £22.57 and TomTop will not refund.
Do NOT trust 'Duty Free Shipping'.
