“I sent an expensive floral arrangement in a wooden wagon & wine for a housewarming present to friends out of town (Waterloo). I also paid almost $20 for delivery.
The box arrived wet with big hole in it - the courier delivered it on its side.
The flowers were soaked & some blooms had to be discarded as a consequence. My friends had to leave it outside to dry it was so bad.
When I wrote an email of complaint, with pictures to prove my case, I was summarily dismissed & told I did not qualify for any refund or further action on my case.
What a complete lack of customer care and respect for their client! Toronto Blooms should be will not stand behind their product or service - don't use them!”
“Should have read the reviews, do not buy from these people. Husband sent flowers to a new mum friend, five days later support finally picks up phone only to rudely say they know nothing. Sent a photo of proof that package was left at the door however it was never received. Delivery company didn't even ring the doorbell or call the cell phone specified to let the receiver know they had a package. Terrible service! Rude and should not be in business.”
“Do not order from this company! They are a scam. Say 1 day delivery, floral arrangement never showed up. A day later try to contact them they say it left with the carrier and they provided a tracking number which doesn’t work with Canpar - and Canpar doesn’t deliver on weekends or holidays) it was ordered on a Sat for Sunday delivery and Monday is a holiday). Horrible service - they refuse to do anything for me. Arrangement was supposed to be for an anniversary party at a cottage which they won’t be at on Tue. So basically this arrangement will be garbage by the time it gets delivered IF that even happens. $133 down the drain. Called my cc to claim dispute. Buy your flowers elsewhere.”
“SCAM!! DO NOT BUY!!
They are a big scam! Please don’t order from them.
I ordered a bouquet a day before, worth more than 100 Cad for a specific date (needed it for an event). I got a shipment email with tracking number on the date of delivery at 9 am. I waited the entire day for the bouquet to be delivered, I tried to reach them whole day but the bouquet was not delivered. The tacking status showed nothing. When I reached out via email, they are telling me they cannot refund my money.
They are going to deliver the bouquet with their own convenience even if I don’t need it anymore.
Worst experience ever. Will not recommend to anyone. Better to go for local florists and help them flourish their businesses.”
“I ordered at 1am and the flowers were delivered before noon. I read the reviews too late and was stressing myself out the entire time. To give someone else some peace of mind, my order arrived as expected. I was prepared to do a charge back with my credit card if I ran into any issues. Next time, I will be supporting a local florist with an actual location and positive reviews. Lesson learned.”
“Do NOT purchase from Toronto Blooms. I repeat. Do NOT purchase from Toronto Blooms. First of all, they’re located in Surrey, BC. Second, I bought flowers and wine for a friend to be delivered to their significant other. Instead of entering my friend’s details, they provided mine. They provided my first and last name and home address. The delivery man was shouting my name at the delivery address, and since nobody knew who I was, someone took it upon themselves to claim the gift. I called Toronto Blooms, no answer. I left a voicemail, no response. I sent an email, and their response was the item was delivered. If you didn’t know your name would be provided, now you do. What a slap in the face! I replied to that email, no response. Needless to say. I filed a claim with my bank.”
“Where's the ZERO star option? I ordered an orchid plant & a small succulent plant was delivered instead. How is that a substitution? I do not know. Even worse, my order shows that an orchid was delivered.
WORSE COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH! How are they even in business? Total scam!”
“Horrible experience. They have no regard for what the customer actually ordered. They will accept your order and then deliver a product that is completely different from what you paid and expected. When you reach out to customer service they just throw their policies back at you including statements such as "Under some rare circumstances, the entire arrangement may be substituted." For one, I don't think this is a rare occurrence for them. Secondly, if that is the case, then why offer customers an option of what they want to order when you will change it without communicating with them? Do not trust this seller.”
“This company is a scam and will not deliver your product or it will arrive in very bad form. And don't even think about calling to complain because they aren't interested in helping you at all. I didn't do my research beforehand and sadly after this experience have found that many have had the same thing occur. Please do your research and see for yourself.”
“I order 2 bouquet for wedding to sent it the same day and them delivered the next day when finished the wedding and i don't know yet where and who received ?! No normal ! Nobody have correct answer to give it to me ! Very poor service ! Never again! Never!Until now i waiting somebody to text me from this company because say delivered the 1 message that sent me but where delivered! Crazy situation!”
“DO NOT ORDER FROM TORONTO BLOOMS! Paid $140 for flowers that lasted one day. I was away for Mother’s Day and sent my mom an arrangement that lasted one day. I complained and they said they could not do anything because they need pictures. Sorry my 82 year old mother didn’t think to take pictures.”
“Don’t bother using this company. Can’t tell you about the quality of the flowers as they still haven’t arrived. Ordered at 7:30am for the following day delivery. Four days later, still not delivered. Try explaining to the hostess why the centerpiece is missing.
Customer service first told me I should have paid for an expedited delivery instead of the “free next day”. Then “the delivery is delayed”.”
