The reason postage was due was because of a simple mistake made in the warehouse. While training a new employee the wrong packaging was used to ship. Bryan ordered 2 books that ship free via USPS Media Mail, the new employee placed the books in a USPS Priority Mail Envelope causing the USPS to charge for Priority Mail instead of Media Mail. Bryan was refunded as soon as we were contacted about the issue. -TW

“I've only ordered from Torque King a few times now, but every time has been positive. First order was ahead of schedule, second order took longer but was lower cost than competitors or for one important order, was the only place that carried the yoke I needed.”

“I’ve been a long time customer, probably close to 20 years, back when gear man Dan would personally answer tech questions on the phone. This time my parts arrived very poorly packaged and almost falling out of the box if UPS hadn’t added lots of tape. Due to everything being just piled in a single box with some heavy parts on top of more fragile ones, some of the parts were damaged in shipping. I was told that they would replace those parts if I shipped them back which is fine, really inconvenient for me, but I understand them wanting them back. I was told that my new parts were on the counter waiting to ship out and as soon as they received my tracking number for the damaged parts, the new ones would be sent out immediately, it was right at 48 hours later according to the email I received with the new tracking info. Unprofessional and disappointing.”

The ONLY reason we waited 48 hours to ship the replacement parts was that we were not informed that the shipment was on its way. See Photo, the tracking did not update until it was being delivered. The replacement parts were shipped out the same day the damaged ones arrived. UPS has been very rough on our heavier packages lately, we vacuum seal all of our smaller pieces before shipment so that they are not bouncing around in the box. We inspected all parts that were returned and there were only 2 bearings that were actually damaged. The rest of the bearings and the Mainshaft were in perfect condition (and yes we inspected it very carefully). It's Dan the Gear Man by the way. -TW
