“The colour match database does only work with US model bikes, not european models. It needs a bit of a google research to find the right colour for a 15 year old EU sold Kawasaki :D”

“I scraped the bottom edge of the bumper of my almost brand new (5 months, 4800 miles Kia Optima) against a high curb, about a 4-inch long, 1/4 inch high scrape. I originally ordered the Pen Platinum kit as it was the same price as the Bottle & Brush kit and listed the same amount of paint. I became rather distressed when the BaseColor pen ran out during application of the first coat, leaving it much lighter than the actual car color. I did this on a Sunday and had to wait until the next day to call Customer Service, and the lady explained that the pen actually dispenses less paint and is designed for smaller jobs than the bottle and brush. After ordering the Essential (BaseColor and Clear Coat only) package, I finished the job as soon as weather permitted. The color match is excellent and much better than I expected. The surface of the touchup is bumpy to the touch but is visually unnoticeable unless you're told to look and where to look for it. I just wish the website had given a better indication of the difference between the Pen and the Bottle, and given more explicit instructional tips for a smoother finish (like sanding and use of rubbing compound). If I hadn't had to make a second order for the extra paint, I would have given 5 stars across the board.”
