I have been experiencing moderate anxiety for a good 8 years, depression before that for 6 or 7 years which I finally recovered from over time but the anxiety manifested after that and persisted.
At my first session I felt what I can only describe as a deep calm, comforting mood that lasted beyond my wildest dreams. I don't have the reactionary response like I've had for decades, all after one session. I have been doing the 20 minute practice twice a day since and overall it has been great. There have been a couple of times where it didn't work like the vast majority of the times but my instructor helped me tweak my technique to help address that.
