Don't book with Travel Republic, absolutely zero communication. Booked in December 2019 for July 2020. No contact whatever re updates to our package. Website said we would be contacted prior to booking to outline options but nothing. Our flights are cancelled not that they let us no and all now still no refund or updates.

If I were able to score a minus that would indicate how I feel about this company. Booked in January for a trip to Italy a few days ago. I was thinking of cancelling and contacted them in August several times via phone but no response. I messaged them as directed and it took them almost 4 weeks, (ironically a few days before my flight), to respond to the SEVERAL messages I had left. Therefore, left no option but to travel otherwise lose a considerable amount of money. There were other incidents that occurred with this agency which I am now looking into being recompensed for i.e. I didn't get what I paid for, plus they cancelled my accommodation and return flight a day into my stay. I am not sure how this company is continuing to operate, their customer service is NON EXISTENT and their whole ethos seems to be to scam their customers. NEVER EVER will I book with these people again (if they're still in existence in months to come) and I urge others to think VERY CAREFULLY before doing the same. Absolutely appalling!

Booked a family holiday for October the hotel has closed travel republic or the hotel did not inform us , nor do they answer phones , they are just keeping our money it's so WRONG what they are doing ABSOLUTE DISGRACE

The worst company in booking holidays and trips. I booked with them without checking the reviwes (I know my mistake, but will not do it anymore) and ended up without holiday and lost money. We booked our trip for beggining of September, in July they contacted us to say that our hotel has been changed and to tell them if we want to go or, if no they could cancel for 100% refund as long as it's cancelled 7 days before the trip, I replied to their email not even 30 mins later, and they never came back to this email. In August they sent me another email saying that now we can go and hotel will be kept (after 3 weeks they are saying I can go, after I changed my plans already and took another tickets for a flight to visit my family), I replied to this email the same info, that I want my refund, they never answered neither this or another email. So my trip is closer and closer, and 2-3 days before my trip they called me asking if I'm going or no, of course I said no, first of all I had already another plans and second I didn't feel safe to travel in the pandemic time (I mentioned that in the emails as well). I asked again the lady on the phone about my refund, and she said that she is afraid but I CAN'T get my refund because it IS LESS THAN 7 DAYS before my trip, so she can't do anything. SO GUYS, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY WITH SUCH A RUBBISH COMPANY, DON'T KNOW HOW THEY STILL HAVE GOOD REVIEWS. Good luck and stay safe. P.S. I forgot to say we tried to contact them on the phone numbers provided on their website, but it was just a waste of time.

Have a holiday booked to portugal for October. Tried to contact them on 3rd september and have sent 7 messages all left unanswered. Everytime I call the office it says its closed. Impossible to contact. Will never use this company again. An absolute joke!!!

Absolutely impossible to contact I have a holiday booked 26th September to Rhodes And I found out my hotel is closed Due to Covid and I found this information in July I have been writing customer request ever since phoned every day as I said impossible to contact how can I possibly fly out to Greece knowing when I get there I have no accommodation Costumer service from this company is absolutely diabolical never again will I book with travel republic

Travel Republic have displayed a level of incompetence this beggars belief. Ignore customer requests for months (promise 48hrs turn around) no way of contacting them with issues. Telephone lines give opening times not true. Just started contacting this week obvious that they have not looked at any customer requests and even after paying money 7 days previously they said I urgently needed to pay. Off to Turkey this Tuesday really worried will have nowhere to stay. Please heed my warning avoid this company like yhe plague you have been warned.

Had holiday booked and they advised to contact them 3 days in advance. So I emailed them. As I had an outstanding query I could not cancel my hotel. 5 emails and 6 weeks later I have not even had an automated acknowledgement of my email. They advise visit our website to contact us. This advises opened 8-8. When you call at any time it says our offices are now closed. They have put cancelled beside my booking the day after I was supposed to check in. I have no idea if I will get a refund I was unable to cancel before I was meant to travel apart from the email I sent. I can’t express how disappointed I am in travel republic as I go on holiday 3-4 times a year and I always use them. NEVER AGAIN!

Travel Republic are a sham. No phone operating; surely people can and are working from home with this company. Its a disgrace. I'm trying to cancel a booking with them for 2 weeks now but no reply. I would discourage people from booking with this sham of a company. People need reassurance in these worrying times; not more worries as to whether a company has the desent manners to answer queries.

No customer service at all during covid. No phones communication, no response to messages on social media or through their website. 5 months of waiting for a refund and nothing from them at all. I wouldn't mind if they had the courtesy to send me an email to let me know whats happening. Apparently they are too busy but still not busy enough to take new bookings. Did a charge back through my credit card and this terrible company managed to find the time to dispute the charge back. Funny that. Too busy to press the refund button but not busy enough to appeal a charge back. I appreciate that we are in difficult times but there is absolutely no excuse for this when it's clearly evident that the staff had time to communicate with my credit card company. Never booking with this company again.

Holiday on 12th July cancelled. Refund schedule stated would be paid in August. Still no contact regarding refund even after making several requests through online customer support form. Phone lines have been disconnected.

Had holiday booked for 2nd August 2020 got cancelled 29th July and they said I'd have refund in 7 weeks well 7 weeks on and my refund paid in my bank and I've not had to send 1 message as thought I'd give the 7 weeks with all this going on with virus and they would have lots to sort out and they done what they said they were going to do so thanks travel republic and Defford book again with them

I have tried on numerous occasions to contact TR by email since the middle of July, no one to this day has had the decency to reply, they put out a refund schedule, which my refund was scheduled 2 weeks ago, I’ve heard nothing, no refund and no reply to my emails - disgusting way to treat a customer - shall never use this company again and will be urging all friends and family not to use them !,

I would recommend not using travel republic. My holiday in early July got cancelled. I had a email saying I would get the refund by end of August. The end of August come and I got a message saying my card what I used to pay the holiday has expired so they can not give me my refund and someone will contact me in a couple of days time to sort out alternative payment. I checked my card and it has not expired so that's a lie also waited a week and no one emailed me. So i messaged Travel Republic and again waited a week and no reply. So I have emailed them again and still nothing it is has nearly been 3 weeks. You cant ring them as it says they are closed. Travel republic are totally unprofessional so stay well clear as they keep your money.

Been trying to get hold of TR since the beginning of July with no success, I’ve paid for a holiday to Thailand and I’m due to go on weds this week, I’ve not had a single form of communication from them , even though my flight has been cancelled by Singapore airlines which I found out for myself, I honestly have no hope in ever seeing my money again, shocking customer service ,

I’ve been trying to change my holiday since the end of July. I’m being ignored. I have tried contacting the press but I’m only one person. If everyone who has problems contacts watchdog or Martin Lewis then maybe something will get done !!!

i am shocked. tried calling about 30 times. sent support contact forms. still no answer. I want to pay € 3,000 and they IGNORE me. once I had ordered several hotels and always suPer and now I AM DISAPONTED, STILL WAITING FOR A PHONE AND NOBODY CALLS ME !! I am considering going to court Adam

I have travelled with Travel Republic for many years and not had any problems until now. Like everyone on this platform ive been trying to get hold of them since 6th August through customer support. Phones are switched off. They have all my money as I moved my holiday from March and now we won't be going on 16th September. We need someone like Martin Lewis to get involved and find out what is happening or if they have gone bust. 😣
