Didn't realise until after booking that the parking was offsite and chargeable. This should be made clearer on the site

My room wasn’t cleaned at any point during a 3 night stay. I had left the sign in the door and yet nothing refreshed, changed or emptied.

Had a terrible experience with the booking website. Payment options not showing. Rooms becoming unavailable then available a short time later. Took over 1 hour to book 2 rooms

We stayed here and paid £170 for one night which was absolute daylight robbery. The room was dirty with stains on the walls and curtains. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly and there was so much rubbish looking out of the window on to the flat roof including a dirty nappy. We all left with numerous bug bites from the room too. Will never stay again.

I made an error with this booking and rang the helpline IMMEDIATELY in the hope of rectifying it. I was told, in so many words 'Tough luck. We have your money, you're not getting it back and there is no way to make the change that you want'. Most organisations recognise that humans sometimes make mistakes but not Travelodge. Never again. You have lost my future custom and I will encourage everyone I know to avoid you like the plague.

I looked at the price to stay at Durham travelodge £179 the next day it had gone up to £235 so thought I had better book and did. Surprisingly the next day it went down to £181 very strange feel like I’ve been stitched up!!!!

The bed was extremely hard and completely uncomfortable. We were unable to sleep for any of the 4 nights we stayed. Additionally, we were unable to connect to even the free 1/2 hour wifi in order to access the opportunity to purchase wifi. We will never stay here again and will advise all of our friends an colleagues accordingly.

Was supposed to get free wi fi but couldn't connect also was supposed to have a coffee machine in my room with hot chocolate capsules wasn't any when I asked for them was told they only do coffee no hot chocolate and wirks out that you cant get hot chocolate fir that machine anyway si it is dalse advertising Booked an assessability toom with assistant from a member of staff in case of a fire abd was told that if we heard fire alarms to leave the room on his own as no member if staff would cone to his aid and do a mile long trek to a point were domeone would eventually get to him absolutely disgusted with that sort of response

I booked through Blue Light Card with a 5% discount but at the check out the voucher code wouldn't work and I got an "invalid code" message. Tried twice same thing happened both times. Don't offer a discount if you're not going too honour it!

There is no hair dryer in the room and even the hotel does not provide luggage storage. I can't even imagine the amenities that a hotel in the 21st century has to offer.

This is not a reflection of Oxford Abingdon Road but of Travelodge brand. We have booked with an E Voucher from Travelodge Windsor due to issues on our stay. In turn that was booked due to an E Voucher refund from a debacle of a stay at Travelodge Southwark. The syatem is poor, as are the standards in general. Customer service at Southwark was terrible. Very good at Windsor, which is a shame as the staff at Windsor ae a credit but the hotel was very noisey, horrible smell throughout from sewage and Super Room was a let down. Tjis will be our last booking with RTeavelodge. Only booked as they would not refund in cash.

Unfortunately I made a mistake when I booked my hotel as I should have booked into the Heston M4 westbound Travelodge and not the Heaston M4 eastbound Travelodge. I tried to change my booking but was informed that this was not possible because I had booked a saver rate room. The westbound room would have cost me more and I would have been happy to pay an additional admin fee as it was my mistake however I was still told this was not possible. I will therefore never use Travelodge again as I do not think it is fair to ask someone to cancel a booking and lose the full booking price and pay again to move from one hotel to another within the same hotel chain.

Very very poor service, totally unreasonable, tried to make excuses when ask for an explanation told they were unable to assist. Never book with you again and will pass this on to friends and family

Looked at price in the morning but wasn't able to book till the evening by which time you had put the price up by £11!!!! Disgusting. Pure profiteering!!!

When I googled "Travel Lodge Winchester", the first entry directed me to the one in the US - with whom I booked - by mistake. They kept my money, even though I tried to cancel. I phoned their 'chatbot' but it did not allow me to speak to a human to explain what had happened. If anyone reads this - or even cares - please phone me on +44 7771 945061 Kind regards - Phil Wills

Rooms are small. Windows don't open. Very noisy, even through the night. No fan in the bathroom so it gets extremely steamy. Sign that says don't let the steam out as it will set off the fire alarm. Breakfast was rubbish. Toater machine doesn't work, apple juice was like water. Cumberland sausage definitely wasn't true Cumberland sausage! Mushrooms were swimming in water. Room prices were quite expensive too.

The noise from train line meant I had no sleep at all with. Very important appointment to go to.The food was awful would recommend your chain to no one terrible stay

This was one of the worst hotels that we have ever stayed in. There was no heat in the evening and when we complained, we were told it was shut off. Then the desk handed us a space heater. The male desk staff was rude! He even refused to call for a cab for us when we had to leave for the airport stating "Cabs won't come here, you will have to walk to the train station", which was 2 blocks away. The female staff who ran the cafe' was so unfriendly. She never smiled or even said good morning. This hotel was the worst! DON STAY HERE!!!!
