Very difficult for a one legged man to sit on the plastic bowl shaped chairs and certainly not the cleanest of places I’m sorry to say ! Premier inn will be my favoured as from now on .

I use travel lodge in Medway quite often I made a mistake and was not allowed to change my booking

I have great difficulty contacting Travelodge by email; if fact have so far failed Confirmation number1568786326 relating to a booking at Todhills for night of 25/26 Aug priced at £120.99 changed to 27/28 Aug at £67.09 on the latest invoice quoted at £67.09 + £10 for changed date. I feel grieved that £53.90 has not been returned to my account as 120.99 - 67.09 =53.90.I accept the £10 taken for changing dates. The gross immorality of business lures clients toward the lower rate KNOWING that under the rules they apply they KNOW that the money they've taken by this subterfuge is safe in their hands. Unless the refund is given don't expect either myself or others will use Travelodge. On the latest invoice it quotes I was charged only £67.09 whereas YOU know £120.99 was charged! We only had to change as double booked for dates 25 to 26th Aug. email ( john@thelockes.co.uk ) .

Nightmare booking wanted 1 room for 1 night for two adults and changed the booking , nightmares trying to get the basket cleared.

I made a mistake with the dates and obviously didn’t stay In the hotel, arrived last night and was told I had to rebook with no discount or any compassion at all. Room was dirty and had a funny smell and walls all damaged. Won’t be back in a travel lodge anytime soon that’s for sure.

Had to amend the booking and the lady was really rude to me as someone who is booking on behalf of a business. Won't be using again if don't have to.

We booked this thinking for one night would be fine the place is full of refugees and homeless people the rooms where dirty my son had a flea crawling on his pillow, dried blood in the shower, the rooms so hot that the fan they put in the room that was full of dust was about as much help as a chocolate teapot, the television pixelated and we had to listen to people in the room next door arguing then having sex

The whole hotel apart from the lobby was boiling hot - felt like the heating was on full blast. We booked 2 nights and left straight after we woke up on the first night as it was too hot.

Stayed one night, we checked in late (about 11pm) and noticed that when using the sink there was no hot water. Didn't do anything about it as it was so late. The next morning, when we wanted to use the shower there was still no hot water. It wasn't just running cold, the hot tap in the sink and shower weren't running at all!! Went to complain and no-one on reception. Wanted to complain on check out but still noone on reception, so phoned as we were driving home, the lady said she would take a look and phone back, but we've heard nothing!

The booking experience was terrible! I was supposed to pay with Eurocard. At first the system refused to approve the Norwegian Post number after many attempts, then suddenly this worked. But then the system refused and approved the name on the eurcard. I never managed to do that, on several browsers. There is clear potential for improvement. Perhaps it is that Norway is not important in the system, or that the system lacks key information about Norway? Norwegian letters can also be a problem, as I have Å in my name. I ended up having to set up the card with Paypal. Then I finally got paid for the room. But this took several hours, and a lot of frustration! Far from acceptable, given that I was going to travel often.
