There is no hair dryer in the room and even the hotel does not provide luggage storage. I can't even imagine the amenities that a hotel in the 21st century has to offer.

This is not a reflection of Oxford Abingdon Road but of Travelodge brand. We have booked with an E Voucher from Travelodge Windsor due to issues on our stay. In turn that was booked due to an E Voucher refund from a debacle of a stay at Travelodge Southwark. The syatem is poor, as are the standards in general. Customer service at Southwark was terrible. Very good at Windsor, which is a shame as the staff at Windsor ae a credit but the hotel was very noisey, horrible smell throughout from sewage and Super Room was a let down. Tjis will be our last booking with RTeavelodge. Only booked as they would not refund in cash.

Unfortunately I made a mistake when I booked my hotel as I should have booked into the Heston M4 westbound Travelodge and not the Heaston M4 eastbound Travelodge. I tried to change my booking but was informed that this was not possible because I had booked a saver rate room. The westbound room would have cost me more and I would have been happy to pay an additional admin fee as it was my mistake however I was still told this was not possible. I will therefore never use Travelodge again as I do not think it is fair to ask someone to cancel a booking and lose the full booking price and pay again to move from one hotel to another within the same hotel chain.

Very very poor service, totally unreasonable, tried to make excuses when ask for an explanation told they were unable to assist. Never book with you again and will pass this on to friends and family

Looked at price in the morning but wasn't able to book till the evening by which time you had put the price up by £11!!!! Disgusting. Pure profiteering!!!

When I googled "Travel Lodge Winchester", the first entry directed me to the one in the US - with whom I booked - by mistake. They kept my money, even though I tried to cancel. I phoned their 'chatbot' but it did not allow me to speak to a human to explain what had happened. If anyone reads this - or even cares - please phone me on +44 7771 945061 Kind regards - Phil Wills

Rooms are small. Windows don't open. Very noisy, even through the night. No fan in the bathroom so it gets extremely steamy. Sign that says don't let the steam out as it will set off the fire alarm. Breakfast was rubbish. Toater machine doesn't work, apple juice was like water. Cumberland sausage definitely wasn't true Cumberland sausage! Mushrooms were swimming in water. Room prices were quite expensive too.

The noise from train line meant I had no sleep at all with. Very important appointment to go to.The food was awful would recommend your chain to no one terrible stay

This was one of the worst hotels that we have ever stayed in. There was no heat in the evening and when we complained, we were told it was shut off. Then the desk handed us a space heater. The male desk staff was rude! He even refused to call for a cab for us when we had to leave for the airport stating "Cabs won't come here, you will have to walk to the train station", which was 2 blocks away. The female staff who ran the cafe' was so unfriendly. She never smiled or even said good morning. This hotel was the worst! DON STAY HERE!!!!

Really poor iam afraid. TV had no signal, spoke to the rude reception lady who couldnt remove her eyes from her phone to talk to me and shrugged it off as "oh well none of the TVs work". Just what i wanted to hear after a 5hr drive to get there. I then asked to perhaps move me to another room and was rudely told "NO" with no further explanation. Very rude lady who only had eyes for her mobile phone and long finger nails and eyelashes. In the morning i made a coffee with the the ones provided and the milk had gone off!!! It went off in march 2023..... overall not impressed. Sorry for the negative review.

The request for a review came after making the reservation but before my scheduled stay. Making the reservation was a nightmare because the address was USA so getting the credit card verified was an infinite loop. How about a reservation to hold a room without a credit card.

Complete rip off! Booked a room yesterday for Saturday for £125.99. Today, same room, £45.99. Asked for money back, still no reply. Very poor customer service. Jackie Sawyer

Room absolutely stinks of smelly dog even though the fan was on full blast and the window open when we walked in. We didn’t want to ruin our trip by having to complain (why can’t they get it right in the first place) but we had to sleep all night with the window open. My eyes were itchy and felt like they had sand in them but I hadn’t been to the beach. In the morning went for breakfast and no bread and only scrambled eggs containing milk - no fried or poached, hash browns were like old cardboard. They wouldn’t boil a plain chicken breast for my poor dog (poodle so doesn’t smell) because of health and safety. What a shame because the room looked really nice and clean apart from the carpet which really stinks.

The communiail areas were very dirty and the smell hits you as soon as you walk in. The bed sheets had old blood stains when asked to change I was offered the sheets myself for which I declined as I do not expect to change my own bed sheets in a hotel very poor service 😥 very disappointed as it was not a cheap night stay for a nights stay. Outside area was not even cleared of cups etc for 24 hours.

Dear Sir’s Today i arrived at the travel lodge in Porthmadog after a 120 mile journey, When I entered my allocated room I found it completely unsatisfactory, The bathroom was dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned properly, at the entrance to the bathroom there were stains on the floor which appeared to be bodily fluids this was not pleasant and I am sure this is an infection control risk, when I pointed it out to reception (Molly and Fiona) they agreed and apologised but made no offer to have the bathroom cleaned further stating “it is what it is we are waiting for a refurb” Unfortunately at this point my wife and I decided to leave and incur further cost in another hotel. I hope you agree on this occasion this was completely unacceptable. Following this disappointment I would like a refund in full.

Room smelled of stale? pee? TV was the size of a laptop, with 12 channels only. They charge for internet and for parking. Not a "good feel stay"!
