Customer service is a joke and that is being generous. I was charged over £10 in phone calls to be hung up on 3 times whilst on hold for ages. My query wasn't dealt with and it was as if they didn't care. Tried to contact my hotel but no one ever answered the phone and I tried for over an hour. I was double-charged and ignored when raising this issue. An absolutely disgraceful way to operate a business.

I wanted to pay with an American credit card. The website to pay refused to accept US postal code. I could not move forward with the booking.

Unbelievable to my sheer amazement and utter disappointment, Travelodge had just "stolen" 70 pounds from me, a pensioner of 74 years, struggling like many other people to make ends meet in the current cost of living climate for a hotel room and service that simply does not exist and to make things worse now refuses to give me my money back even though I made this booking completely in good faith.

Travelodge charged me twice for the same booking, with only 1 confirmation number. I tried to call the premium rate number several times but was told it was busy. So I had to try and find their email address and sent msg. Hopefully I'll get a reply quicker than their 5 day automated reply says.

I booked a room for the 23/06/2023 and cancelled It on the 21/06/2023. It appears I will not receive any refund of my £70.49 as somewhere there is a small print saver rate under £38.00 will not be eligible for refunds. I paid £70.49. Travel Lodge is tricking customers to earn money in an unfair manner.

The staff were wonderful but food was awful. Nacho portion was a joke and looked like the Nachos had run out, so 3 had been broken into small pieces and spread out. Room OK and clean. Breakfast awful. I spent £10 on a yoghurt. Even the coffee was shocking. Even this form is messed up! WHAT DELIVERY?

Unfortunately for our stay the lifts didn't work also really enjoyed being woken up by people kicking and shouting to gain access to the service access point every morning

Dreadful. The main problem with Travelodge is that they use "no-reply" email addresses. Thiey also try to insist that those who book must give them a telephone number. Due to being deaf , I cannot make enquiries by telephone and furthermore, they force me to give them a false telephone number. They should stop using "no-reply" email addresses, and they should publish a central email address for all Travelodge. This does not have to be a separate email for each hotel: one email address at their headquarters would be sufficient.

Trying to book a room was near impossible. The only reason I've booked with you is because my wife & I are going to be visiting the dock land complex. I've tried to login to your site since booking our room which I can't- so I'm not bothering . It's true that the app is only worth 1 ⭐️ . You dont seem to want to improve the app at all.

Having booked 3 locations with Travelodge - Saltash, Gateshead and Derby the same issues existed in all of them when booking. Slow & unresponsive system with poor navigation when looking at all the hotels in the area; changing dates takes time and the option to get another better price with either same or different hotel is useful but moves you away from dates to another month at times! Prices are not competitive when you actually visit the hotel room - Saltash was not worth half the cost (£227 for 4 nights) as they had water pump issue so the welcome was more panic than warm; lack of room space; tv position completely wrong; lack of plug points; shower tray overflowing due to poor plumbing; Head Office decision to make cost savings meant no glasses in bathroom, lack of basic amenities (beverage for 1 cup for 2 people!), towels for 1 person (with 2 guest!), no floor mat or safety handles in bathroom!! When Reception was told about the lorry park with lorries driving in after Midnight and drivers making teas and food at 4 & 5AM Gary at Reception was not bothered and could not care less although it disturbed our sleep - so not impressed by the lack of responsiveness as he said "although it's our area we are not responsible for who parks and what they do especially if they disturb our guests!!" You don't know of these issues when you book as you are NOT honest & open when you describe the location and when we arrive it's too late!!
