Poor service. Fire alarm due to a drunk person smoking in a room at 5am. That same person was banging on my door at 6am. The bin wasnt emptied by the staff when i put the notice on the door. The towels werent replaced when asked. They just picked the same towels off the floor -where you needed to leave them - and lay them on my bed.

poor communications, clunky booking website that got dates, numbers of rooms and numbers of people wrong. Having a hotel without proper breakfast facilities

Not amused price was at 121.97 for 3 nights and booked it,was at checkout,where had to then go onto bank app to confirm payment.once did that back to Travelodge and had been kicked out.went back in to start again and price had then jumped to 129.97 within seconds .booked it but wasn't amused

I had a very bad experience yesterday which caused my bank account to be locked because of suspected Fraud. What was clearly happening was the you were adjusting up your prices. After getting the accounts unlocked I went online again to find rates had moved signicantly upwards - so much so that I had to go with a cheaper hotel 20 miles away. I booked it. NOW, this morning 1 hr ago) I’ve been sent an email inviting me a yet cheaper rate and inviting me to book. I am a long term customer of T’lodge but as a sen citizen to whom money isn’t available in an unlimited amount I’ m very put out by this

22nd June Stopped at Chieveley on my way back from Norwich as nil reply from Customer services to discover from the duty Manager that my room had been recorded as a NO SHOW by staff and NOT the fact site were completely over booked ! Also that I could and should have been given a refund on the spot - I was told the staff on duty on 19th weren't able to do this ! So staff manipulate system and lie to customers ! A disgrace ..... Customer services NOW replied and advise 5 days to get a reply due to volume of queries !!! I wonder why when working with staff such as those at Chieveley !!!! 21st JUNE Latest update ..... Complaint e mail now returned from Travelodge site !!!!!! Looking forward to telephone conversation and undoubted lengthy delay in getting through ..... FIRST ISSUE 19 June 2023 Awful ...... due to stay there in Chieveley tonight 19th June . Rooms overbooked by 16 .... Couldn't be found a room in nearby Reading so very quickly arranged alternative accommodation ... Await outcome of complaint , speed of refund and offer to compensate for time , frustration and awful service !!!! Be careful and check BJT beware I had received e mails , sms messages and confirmation of rooms so clearly systems not able to compute !!!! Poor ....

Hotel room was like a Sauna, Outside of hotel was covered in Bird droppings including the Windows to the rooms, I dared not use the Hot drink facilities as the Kettle was in a terrible state, The bath was very small and the shower/whole bathroom needs updating aswell as the test of the Hotel as a Whole, My keycard needed te calabrating every time I left the Hotel, It would have to be something Special for me to ever Use Travelodge Again Very Disappointed in such a Large Chain

The worst travelodge I have ever been in. Dozens of people here but reception refused to let anybody check in even 1 minute before 3pm. When I enquired was told I signed a contract to say 3pm and then blanked me. Ignorant

Booking ref 1567779681 Very disappointed with the above. I tried (18/6) to book a room at Llandudno for27/28 June and ended up with a booking for 24/25 /12 /2023, which was the default setting for the web site. Various phone calls to the hotel and centre yesterday were non productive, leaving me with a paid for booking, wtth no prospect of taking it up. Perhaps I should contact a Llandudno based homeless charity and offer the room so that a homeless couple could be housed on Christmas night! David Stiles CW9 6EB

I booked the wrong month as the site took me to august rather than the month we are actually in, then once there told me to get a room I would be charge an extra £90 , disgusting and the fact you have a carpark and customers still have to pay for overnight parking .. disappointing ,

There was make up and marks all on the bed! When we came in there was no staff at front Desk no phone in the room to phone down the stair!

Terrible experience, arrived at night to find hotel overbooked and have no room! What is worse, staff were rude and dismissive ( his name Ansa) to the extent that his colleague was apologetic for his behaviour. I specifically booked this hotel to be near to conference venue as have early start. Offered hotel further away with more than five times the distance to walk. I was tired and getting late, so had to take the offer. One member of staff was helpful and agreed to send me in a taxi to the other hotel. No apologies from the manger and saying this is the policy of Travelodge!

Searching for a particular location was a real pain. I knew there was a hotel at Paignton....yet keying that name into the search box I had to scroll through loads of unrelated locations....that is a basic functionality flaw! I also wanted to know if we could take our dog, but couldn't confirm this until going through the booking process, there was nowt in T&C's ...could do with a simple FAQs page. What in earth are the following questions about DELIVERY and was item damaged about? Looks like you have your surveys mixed up.

Awful stay at Travelodge Yardley, Birmingham. Public areas are unkempt. Room was dirty and damaged. Wifi didn't work. Could not sleep so left at 2.30 am and therefore did not have the breakfast we paid for. Had we pID £50 in total it might have been understandable but at three times that price it was completely unacceptable. I expect to be contacted to let me know what refund I am going to receive.

Website misleading - I booked for 19th to checkout on 20th June and confirmation after paying was 1st and second July - tried to cancel to book again and wouldn’t refund - website doesn’t show the fully booked details and ask for confirmation before payment so if you make a mistake then you lose money - terrible !!
