Awful place. No car park as stated in the booking. Rude staff and disgusting, dirty.

Booked through the website as booking by phone would cost 13p per minute plus standard network charges. However, I could not find anywhere to request a disabled room, which I needed for my partner. I also wanted to enquire about a parking space, but again couldn't find anything online. I booked via the website. I then called the number to request a disabled room and was charged an extra £10 for the amendment. I also asked about parking and was told I would just have to ask when I arrived at the hotel. I am extremely disappointed at being charged the extra £10 to ensure a disabled room as the website should give this option when booking. Will I book another Travelodge, time will tell but having suffered such disappointing service and charges, I will seriously consider other options.

Very poor experience when booking multiple rooms on the same online booking, due to what seems to have been software bugs. Very frustrating and time-consuming.

Cancelled my booking on 5/5/23 and still waiting for my refund. I have phoned and emailed to no avail! No one can tell me when I will get my £100 back. They are in breach of their booking conditions and I am taking this to the small claims court.

Made initial enquiry and the price was £174. Pop-up box appeared asking me to sign up for offers. Completed box and the price went up to £209!! Was committed to these dates so no alternative - very disappointing.

Travelodge is painful to endure. They promise e-vouchers for compensation for freezing cold rooms. The vouchers do not arrive. You chase them up. Eventually they come. The vouchers do not work and they are for under 50% of what was promised as a goodwill gesture which turns into a series of further headaches. Forget Covid avoid Travelodge like the plague! I am livid. Does it show? This is not leisure.

I have just found that a friend has booked the same place and night for half the price that I am paying. One would hope to get the best price from Travelodge site, clearly not the case !

Greeted by a young lady who couldn't even be bothered to greet us properly. No smile, no please or thank you. Room didn't have hand-wash and when I asked for it when I got back late at night, I was asked if I would be ok for them to give it in the morning. My response was "and what do I wash my hands with in the meantime, if I'm checking out in the morning. Very poor and miserable experience. Will not be staying in a Travelodge again.

So disappointing. Where to start? There is no bar area to sit and have a drink or order food in house, you are forced to leave the building for toast in the morning. All of the surrounding restaurants know this, so prices are inflated. There is no mineral water or healthy snacks in the vending machine. We have had to have our door key changed 4 times, we have reached the front door to our room and it has stopped working. There is no phone in the hallway to call down to reception to let them know this so we have been up and down on many occasions. On one occasion we were locked outside with no coats and no reception staff to do us a new key at night. There is no phone in the rooms either to contact reception or a taxi or anything you may need. The WC in reception does not work and apparently has not worked for weeks. The wifi stopped working on the third day after paying for it. The carpet in the room is sticky and the bath does not drain at all. The neighboring rooms stomp around all times of day and night and the walls tremble in this building. Outside of the hotel the area is quite dire. There are pubs and clubs and every single night there is a fight on the street outside and police are called, we had no idea it is such a conflictive area. The only saving grace of this not very nice hotel is the wonderful receptionist Emma who has done everything in her power to help and make out stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you.
