Regularly stay in a Travelodge super room and always find it immaculate and very comfortable. That said, prices do seem to vary widely albeit Travelodge remains value for money.

Paid £144 for 2 nights. Next day was inundated with offers for £35 a night. How unfair is this after you've booked! Stay itself was in a reasonable room apart from the filthy carpet. On our second day we came back to no towels just a filthy cleaning cloth left in the bathroom. Queuing at reception to collect some towels and hand over the filthy cloth a man was checking in and said as it doesn't say free breakfast could he get one. The receptionist said yes he could have a free breakfast. Obviously we missed out on this too. Feel that we paid a lot of money here for very little considering the towels, dirty cloth issue etc. Very disappointed.

I don't rate this travelodge at all or the manager she was very rude. I travelled a great distance for a hospital appointment for my child and had booked a room here and phoned aswell to request we had a early check in which was approved but wasn't the case when we arrived she wanted extra payment and also after we informed my pet would be coming once again wasn't noted so wanted extra money and when finally got in the room ment to be a family room well no wasn't the case was one bed I had a meltdown due to the managers attitude. Now have to find somewhere else to stay as disgusted with the managers attitude. Even though have paid for the room

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. At the parking lot, I was told by a lodger who claimed to be staying at the hotel that they "nick cars here, make sure you lock your car". The dream of a nice rest after a long drive vanished. Entrance dirty, carpets patched.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed in Doesn't look like the picture. I have a temporary disability, yet I was put in a room on the 2nd floor in an hotel with no lift. The rooms were archaic. I took a break from Premier Inn and regret. The restaurant next door was a TOBY carvery. The choices were a roast or a roast, and the service was awful I wanted a glass of wine but the brand I wanted I couldn't have as they couldn't find a corkscrew. Mindboggling.

The website crashed on my computer, so I rebooted and booked again and somehow have booked the same dates twice for the same place. Trying now for a refund for 1 of the booking made

I am in my late seventies and sometimes booking things on line is very difficult for me. This was just so simple.

On arrival the receptionist who was a lovely man told us to book on line we booked on line but the app cliitchedall are details we're still on so we pressed proceed,to our horror it had changed are dates which then we made a phone call and had to pay an extra 39 which should not be allowed,then it had only booked one person so the receptionist changed ,on arrival to bedroom. Sheets stained mattress very uncomfortable windows full of bird poo bath I have taken pictures of the grim and of the tiles which was dirty,window seal coming away pictures taken,breakfast wow that was cold coffee was horrid milk warm for cereal after paying £8.99 each to eat a slice of toast not worth the money definitely not a place to stay will be sending pictures to the local paper as big companies should not be ripping people off,I have all evidence and am very upset my stay was ruined so thank you travel lodge for not looking out for your customers,customer service man very bad attitude

Staff pleasant, room and public areas clean but dinner was almost inedible. Normal kitchen staff called in sick so reception staff having to cover bar and kitchen

Probably better if you don’t open until the refurb is finished. Worse nights sleep ever. Too noisy!

This hotel was a total disgrace the towels were marked with soil the sink was filthy and the room smelled like someone had urinated in it don't ever book this hotel it's a total shite hole it was so bad I used baby wipes to clean my self the bed was all creased as well

The reason I gave a poor review is that I tried booking on Sunday eve and it wouldn't let me? So I tried again at half 6 on Mon morning and the price had gone up by over £20 which I wasn't happy about.

1. Bathroom flooded, due to shower curtain not fitting. Complained to reception, not interested. 2. Bedroom door left open all day after morning cleaning (we got back at 6pm). Completely unacceptable anything could have been stolen. Reception again not interested. Would not recommend this accommodation!

I chose this by mistake and unfortunately can't cancel, even on a saver rate you should have 24 hours to correct it and not loose your money

Very disappointed, the door wouldn't lock, the internet although paid for 12 hours only worked 1 hour, the hotel staff not at all helpful and said Virgin Media was responsible for the internet, not Travelodge. The hotel is very close to A65 / A59 / Skipton Bypass roundabout, so very noisy all the stay. Not worth the money paid, I would have been better off sleeping in my car in a Lay-By.

Having trouble with a booking after accidentally cancelling. After receiving a confirmation I found the dates were different to the ones I thought I had booked so I tried to manage my booking and that’s when my problems started. Now awaiting customer services to rearrange my dates, a wait of up to 5 working days.
