“Arrived to find bar/cafe was shut for the night - had to make arrangements to take two young kids out for a meal. Very inconvenient. None of the 4 bedside USB chargers were working - all broken. Not great when you’ve only brought charging cables and have 3 people’s iPads, watches and my phone to charge. Not particularly helpful. Breakfast in the morning, no gluten free bread because i hadn’t told them when I checked in. I have stayed in many hotels over the last few years and this has never been an issue. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, and there had clearly recently been new carpets laid throughout the hotel. Hotel was pleasant, but unlikely I would recommend or return based on the above issues.”

“Older style Travelogde building and a bit dated in parts, but seemed well maintained. The paid for wifi signal was weak & slow in my particular room.”

“on the booking it would be good to have an option to shorten or extend a stay at the moment it is only obviously easy to be flexible on arrival . I have booked to be around while my brother is in hospital. I know when he is going in but not when he will come out or how long I need to stay around for him. I hope this explains the request”

“Stayed in Portsmouth city Center hotel . On arrival car park only has 20 spaces this is a big hotel no discount on other parking near by so this isn’t a great value hotel as you need to add parking staff also park in the hotel parking so hardly any space for guests. Room lovely and clean . In walking distance to attractions. Down side our first get away since Covid masks in side still stands but not in this hotel staff don’t all wear mask also lift states no sharing with other house holds but staff get in with you .we had to ask if he would put his mask on in the lift . Big signs saying wear masks at reception people have no masks on leaning over desk talking to staff but staff did not ask people to wear their mask .also standing at the bar . Was very disappointed a big chain can not follow simple government rules .”

“York Central Stayed 29th May to 1st June 2021 Room was adequate for what we wanted/needed but stifling hot due to heat wave. If we left window open we were kept awake due to the main road traffic, very busy all night. Wetherspoons is next door, so late night boozing and very early morning barrel deliveries. Walls between rooms very thin as we were kept awake until 3.30am with loud music and other "activities" Parking is 5-10 minute walk using a Q-park - secure parking but a trek. Receptionist was lovely. I'm glad I paid using a special offer of buy one night get one free, I wouldn't have been happy paying the full rate.”

“Cheapest for a 2 day stay at the Luton Travelodge. Breakfast not so good for value and taste. Disappointed was charged an extra £10 for checking in one hour early but had to pay as my 1 and 3 yr old were sleeping after a long a journey and had no choice.”

“i tried to do the payment by 2 diferrent credit card 3 times and it could not proceed. It was a problem from the website, therefore I tried to pay by paypal and it let me. It was frustrating”

“Room at Travelodge Heathrow smelled of disinfectant.. Car park not safe at night due to local gangs in hoodies walking around...need key card to enter hotel because of this”
