“There are many fake negative reviews on Trustpilot designed to destroy the reputation of other companies, similarly there are even more fake positive reviews used to promote companies whose services and products are questionable. If you look at the dates of these reviews, they tend to come on same days and many in one week! Many with similar use of words or alarming warning title like " Stay away"; Don't buy...."; "Worst company" and so on. I do not trust Trustpilot review anymore, and they don't influence me anymore.”

“Same as many reviews here. Wrote a Damning review of Enstroga energy, it was flagged and I provided the evidence as requested and no response. I.requested the flag was lifted numerous times ...still nothing. Overall score of a company can be completely skewed. Trustpilot is a waste of space.”

“I wrote a (1*) review for a watch selling company, Iguana Sell in Spain, because they made wrong claims and could not deliver the advertised Sinn watch. Shortly after, I received a message from Trustpilot, asking for supporting information an proof,which I provided two times in form of an original email from the official Australian Importer. However, Trustpilot ignored all proof and refused to publish my honest review. I totally understand, that Trustpilot has to work in the interest of their customers who are paying big fees in order to make their reviews look great, however, deleting true reviews is not a good business practice and not fair at all!”

“I booked a stay through Air bnb in December. The holiday was due to take place at the end of march. On the 8th of march I decided that travel to the US was unsafe due to the COVID situation. We therefore cancelled the trip in the hope that I would be able to get a refund - quite understandably given the situation and that we were travelling with a my brother who is currently suffering with Lung cancer (the point of the trip really - a final family reunion as we have siblings in the US). 5 days later air bnb made the decision that anyone who had a booking after the 14th March could get a full refund for their stay if they wished to cancel. After contacting the Host he advised that a refund would be made available. I waited 1 month and nothing came through. I therefore contacted air bnb again and explained the situation. Amazingly they advised that because we cancelled before they announced the policy 5 days later that we would not be included in their refund policy even though it would have qualified. I explained the personal circumstances and tried to escalate the situation but was rejected at every point. The most upsetting thing was the lack of empathy shown by many of their representatives to not only the difficult COVID situation but also the the personal circumstances and the extremely high risk of someone with lung cancer travelling while there was a deadly infectious disease spreading across the world. Despite everything, I was left absolutely speechless when they gave up replying to my messages. Very sad indeed.”

“Trustpilot are as crooked as the bent companies they support. Had money stolen by cdkeys. Supplied evidence from PayPal payment to verify my transaction yet trustpilot took my review down. Proving they are in league with the scammers on the internet.”

“I wrote about my bad experience about the seller. www.runnerinn.de they blocked my review and asked for evidence. The funny thing is that runnerinn had written to my comment on their website, but i could simply not able to reply back to the seller because there was no REOLY option on Trustpilot website. After that they asked me to show evidence.”

“Trustpilot exist only for its own benefit. The paying company members are knowingly allowed to manipulate scoring as long as its beneficial for Trustpilot. The rest is a smoke screen and evasion by Trustpilot to boost the review score of its clients. For instance the appalling MyHermes courier company has been helped by manipulation to have the highest positive reviews of all the companies on Trustpilot. Enough said. Cheats beyond belief . Where is the consumer watchdog to dig out all the dirt from those unscrupulous companies. We are being openly cheated on!”
