“I gave bad reviews about the Motor ombudsman service and Chapelhouse Motors They were honest, clear and concise and they did not contain any bad language threats etc but you removed them I did respond to your emails but it made no difference I did flag reviews because they did not reflect a buying experience as per your rule but they are still there WHY”

“They delete reviews what ever it’s under 3 star and bad So you do not know what to expect from a company I had a really bad experience with stellarcapital so they did not let me to say the truth like other clients if you see flagged reviews”

“I left a mild negative review on trustPilot and immediately got a very rude phone call from the owner. It was weird and he seemed pretty sure of himself when I asked why he didn't think this was apprpriate. Sure enough Trustpilot contacted me and said my review had been flagged??? The next day it said it was rejected. Sheesh - wonder how much a business has to pay for protection money to not only treat customers badly but then follow up and harass them and Trust Pilot doesn't see a problem????”

“They allow “ anyone “ to post positive reviews but paying businesses can flag negative Reviews and have them removed. Not too ethical is it ? Wouldn’t trust a positive review on Trustpilot I’m afraid.”

“Trustpilot CANNOT be trusted. DO NOT use the Trustpilot site to leave reviews. Trustpilot are paid by companies at different levels. On the higher level of subscription, companies can have any negative reviews that will affect their business removed. I've personally had an honest negative review removed by Raisin bank. In my view, Trust pilot is a scam and should never be used.”

“Trustpilot is not being completely transparent and honest. It publishes good reviews but any negative reviews get removed which is contradicting the whole premise of a review site! Therefore, the general public are being deceived.”

“Trustpilot are paid to remove service companies that subscribe to them have access to remove negative reviews plain and simple , My reviews are in good language with no foul words just my honest experience with companies i used but to my surprise they remove them sometimes even the positive reviews.”

“They deleted every single negative review about Pepperstone.com i have left there. Company is shady and screwed me for millions of $ and i cant even review them. Trust pilot is pure pay to keep good reviews place.”

“I have tried to explain to Trustpilot that a company runs illegally because they are not authorised to provide financial services. Trustpilot now knows that the company is completely illegal but still helps the company remove bad reviews. Both make good money on this fraud and therefore all bad but true reviews are removed automatically.”

“I think this site is doing more harm than good for companies trying really really hard to stay afloat at the moment battling against trying to get, and please customers, with government saying what they can and cant do. “Bought a product on a shop, then when i get the product it was pure rubbish, wrote my coment totally respectfull on Trustpilot and the company just reported it knowing that Truspilot will hide for days or even weeks, and just after my comment they post a fake comment. In my country with 50.000.000 people they only have 35 workers to revise all comments. So Trustnothing is not a company to believe”

“I am a user of Trustpilot, my company asks for reviews on every sale. There are certainly not all 5 star we even have a few 2 and 3! I have complained bitterly regarding unfair reviews even one that had never dealt with us. TP simply refuse to take them down saying people will understand if we respond to the review. They do have rules like you cannot review a service after 12 months, and you cannot use TP to blackmail customers. But they are actually totaly above board and worthy of 5 stars.”

“Monitored a few companies that are on trust pilot, They allow these companies to game the review system. One company selling masks for protection from coronavirus at £40 each. Many complaints and 1 star reviews. But then the company reports the reviews for breach of Trust Pilot rules! most of the bad reviews are then removed, then they also adds lots of fake positive reviews. This keeps the percentage rating high... I can truly say DO NOT TRUST TRUST PILOT REVIEWS.”
