Trustpilot have blocked my account claiming me as a spammer, it's obvious that my reviews being direct and to the point don't suit trustpilots business model, protecting the reviewed and giving the hammer to the honest reviewer I hope Trustpilots days are numbered because if they are allowed to continue as is, the only losers are the people they claim to represent, the honest reviewer of poor companies , Totally bias service able to avoid capture but not for long!

Complicit in scams. They protect the companies doing the scamming by removing negative reviews flagged by the company and also allowing fake positive reviews put up by scam companies.

They don't allow you to leave honest reviews of businesses that have a proven history of scamming customers, and are therefore complicit in these scams in my opinion. Can't say I'm surprised by all the other reviews here.

Trustpilot is sadly untrustworthy. All positive reviews are allowed without any moderation at all. However negative reviews are treated with extreme bias. If a company reports a negative review and they are using the PAID service, then Trustpilot compliance will immediately block that review, and tell the reviewer that they must remove almost every negative word from the review, claiming it is defamatory. They may also ask you to provide evidence to confirm your dealings with said company, then if you do provide evidence, they will often ignore it or ask for more, impossible evidence. If you provide them links to evidence, they refuse to click links and look at it, or are simply to thick to understand what you are showing them. So if the company lied to you, or was rude to you, or tried to scam you, ripped you off etc, you are not allowed to say any of these things. So you are left only being able to publish a review that says nothing negative. If you just have a FREE account with Trustpilot and report a negative/defamatory review, you will not get the same treatment. Many business owners have reported being completely ignored unless they upgraded to a paid account.

Useless website, useless support service, useless employees. Bought something from a store, left a review, and their "system" detected it was not "genuine". I emailed them my credit card statement and product purchase from the website and yet they refused to acknowledge a bot can't be correct all the times. Tried to get escaleted to a different support service level, and got the door shut in front me. Thank God people are leaving that website in favour of other platforms.

Many are fake, and that if you repeatedly have written about a certain store or job search engine it flags up as going over there policy guidelines. So what is the point of such a useless site and others similar sites. My account I have deleted now with Trustpilot. If I have any issues with a store or anything else. I go directly to there website and go through there customer service/complaint system.

Do not trust the reviews of any site on trustpilot, I posted 2 reviews for another site and because they were bad they got removed. I mailed the site's support but I got no answer from them. Most reviews are also fake. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING FROM TRUSTPILOT.

I fully appreciate that TrustPilot need to have the ability to protect their fee paying clients from a rogue reviewer. However it is very disappointing when they have a rogue company as a client who is "gaming the system" and they refuse to take any action. To cut a long story short I have had the misfortune to encounter one such rogue company. I posted a negative review and it was "reported" within minutes, which was then followed by a protracted exchange of emails with TrustPilot Compliance. I was asked to produce evidence of their client's behaviour, which I did and would suggest my evidence was of sufficient quality to be "beyond reasonable doubt". But no, TrustPilot Compliance came back with an impossible demand. They demanded evidence that I had NOT done something! However, when I suggested that the only person able to provide that evidence was their client they refused to take any further action. I have closed my TrustPilot user profile/account which I understand means that all my past reviews, good as well as bad, have been removed.

I placed a bad review about a big electronics/music online shop (BaxShop). After a week or so I received a message from trustpilot that Baxshop requested additional information from my case because they flagged it as a false or fake review. When I put the review online there was no need for me to put specific information about the case, in fact Baxshop had the opportunity to solve the case in the first place. So because I refused to give more information afterwards they took my review offline!! I send a message to Thruspilot asking them how many positive reviews about Baxshop were being flagged by Baxshop as false or fake, I have not received an answer yet.......

Disclaimer : I am now a reviews.co.uk customer, but I was with Trustpilot for two years until June this year so feel that I am qualified to leave them a review on the experience. I run a small business processing high value transactions, so didn't have a lot of reviews to publish and stayed on their basic scheme. It was fine, not bad, but not great either and quite regularly review requests would end up in recipients junk folders. We did everything they told us to address this, so my web guys were mystified. In the end, I started questioning why I was spending so much on their service. Coincidentally they then started chasing me down to renew (after they had failed to invoice for my service and moved me to the free plan - cancelling all linked widgets on my site and email signature) and it came to a head with the sales rep calling me in a meeting, and then cancelling everything when I said I couldn't talk to her then! Unbelievable. So by all means use them for the free plan if you are a small business, but go elsewhere when you want better service and more options.

Trustpilot allows completely fake rewiews, as soon as a company is their customer, they will allow hundreds of positive reviews (batch processed) to counteract any negative that may appear, very negative rewiews are automatically flagged and removed.

Trustpilot seem to think about themselves as a company who advocates the truth and only the truth. in their own view they cannot go wrong... in reality they are far from giving the correct image for a company and yes, they get it wrong on many occasions. I know they allow fake reviews and they do not accept evidence so they allow people to leave reviews even if they are not the customers of a certain company. What's more their system is flawed... if you get a negative review they remove 0.5 stars from your total, however, when the same review is removed by the customer they only put back 0.1 stars. You can only enquire once about a review and the reviewer doesn't need to prove in any way they were your customers, so if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of being taken for another company you will never get the review removed because Trust pilot do not accept your arguments. A system where customers can leave reviews is needed, that is for sure, however TrustPilot is not the answer as they are biased towards the reviewer regardless if they have proof or not.
