“I also wrote a negative review for a company called Bird-B-Gone. Trustpilot removed my opinion and demanded a rediculous amount of paperwork to prove I was telling the truth. All I was trying to do was express my opinion of the product(VERY NEGATIVE AND RUDE PEOPLE) I guess, they only print positive reviews which means that you can not believe any reviews that they print...Guess that is what they are paid for”

“I posted a negative review about Avas flowers on trustpilot and they removed it Even when I sent receipt of order the review never went back up. Trustpilot is a bogus site.”

“Trust pilot is not a legitimate review site. I did business with a company that has horrible reviews all over the internet. Interestingly the rating on Trustpilot is "Great". I wrote a negative review and they promptly sent a request for documentation or they'll remove the review. So they don't care that positive reviews are largely fake: https://www.theguardian.com/money/2013/jan/26/fake-reviews-plague-consumer-websites but they are all over people who post something negative. It's pretty clear who they get paid by.”

“Untrustworthy pilot will take a bad review and inform the company of what it will take to either make the review disappear. It's a business that is out to make money and there is no money in posting honest review for the poster but there is money for trust pilot if they can contact the company and warn them of the harm of negative review and then give them a financial way to solve the problem. They are making money off or your misfortune. The more negative reviews, the more the company may be wiling to pay to get rid of them and/or replace them with good review. Companies are in business to make money trust Pilot is just one of the many companies out there that does this. BBB is a major offender as they use the negative reviews for free marketing by contacting the company that you complained about. BBB will try and sell them one of their packages and then offer to keep them in good standing regardless of the negative reviews if they are a member in good standing and what I mean by good standing is a PAYING MEMBER. YElp is also a major offender that will take your misfortune and use it to solicit the company you are have problems with. In my experience, only the reviews on medical doctors remain regardless of negative or positive. However, companies are in business to make money so I believe that will eventually change as well.”

“Gave a bad review for arial force and it was removed by trust pilot. I watched the arial force review page for a couple of weeks and saw that every bad review was being removed by Trust Pilot”

“Removed my bad but accurate appraisal of purple bricks, then demanded "proof" be sent. I did this yet still my comments were blocked. They did this by explaining PB don't think I am a genuine customer (hence the proof). They are a joke.”

“I don't trust them, they didn't publish my review on purple bricks. Purple bricks stopped all direct reviews and channelled them through trust pilot who vet them before publishing. I don't believe it's an accurate and transparent view of customer feedback.”

“Don't trust Trustpilot. I wrote a review for the most dishonest car rental company I have ever dealt with, Easirent. If you look on all other sites, you see they have 1 or 2 stars. Every few minutes on this site, apositive review is posted. How is that possible? Very suspicious.”

“I wrote a review of a product I purchased on shop-Orthopedics and wanted to change the review because the rep there was very kind to me, and I appreciate him and the nice product he sent. I never joined Trustpilot, but when I went to change the review, I put in my email address and you said that someone already had it. I couldn't log in because I never set up a password. You never answered my request for help or sent me a new password. This is ridiculous. All this red tape for a few positive statements about a nice company.”

“Worst experience ever!!! Do not get in touch with TrustPilot. They will promise you a lot and give you nothing. And when you want to go away they will tell you that they can't delete your information from the system and that you sign up with them for good. TrustPilot is not the way that you want show your business in public, believe me!”

“Horrible horrible horrible. I asked 20 of my clients to go write a review on my new Trustpilot account. 13 out of the 20 we removed from them! I immediately emailed them asking what happened, which lead to a 15 email back and forth automated email responses looking communication which NEVER answered my question. These were real reviews, and they removed them, and expect my clients to prove to them that they received my services. Horrible company, horrible style and just awful customer service. Deleting account.”

“Don't trust Trustpilot!!!.. I submitted a review about Premier Range (.co.uk) and was asked to supply proof of purchase, in which i did, That seemingly wasn't enough all of a sudden and i was asked for "service" documentation, I believe they are on the "take" to remove fair/poor reviews from Companies rich enough to pay them off.. Just for the record, Trustpilot give Premier Range a rating of 9.4.. other (honest) websites give 5 approx”

“My god, what part of "please change my email address to..." don't this company understand!. All I asked was to change my email address to another and they are bombarding me with confusing emails and continuing to use the old email address. These companies really do make life complicated and the staff appear to be unable to understand the most simplistic requests!..”

“I offered a negative review on Avas Flowers. Trustpilot emailed me 4, yes, four, times and asked me to edit it. They took my review down because it was 'accusatory'...and offered me all those chances to 'EDIT' it. I would not because I was sincerely unhappy....and evidently Trustpilot is there to make sure folks get only favorable reviews whether they deserve them or not. Don't trust their reviews.”

“One of their offices (I will not state) has employees that treat each other poorly and unprofessionally. I don't know what is really going on behind the scenes with this company, but it is very sketchy.... Their employees do ILLEGAL drugs, even the hire-ups (directors, managers). They argue and scream random comments in the office. They have low moral standards. I really have no clue what is going on with this company. It seems like they hire a new person, then terminate them without any reason. Then re-hire a new person. It's like a cycle. It is so dodgy. Do yourself a favor and avoid signing any contracts with them.”

“I provided PROOF that I had purchased from the company (TLC Electrical), yet Trustpilot hid my review from public view, stating some 'compliance' bullcrap. Even though I jumped through their 'hoops' - providing a jpeg image of the invoice AND a pdf version a week later (the jpeg wasn't 'good enough'), nothing changed. I wouldn't be surprised if they were receiving some sort of incentive from businesses with excessively poor service. I have removed myself from this sham of a website. It's a shame as the good businesses have lost valuable reviews.”
