“Many people were scammed by company Lux Style who would send you the products claiming that you ordered from them and demanding to pay, threatening court, ...After tens of reviews about this scam, all the reviews were taken down, as people who left the reviews could not provide order number. How could we provide the order number when there was no order. Thanks to this removals by TrustPilot, who knows how many people got seriously scammed.”

“Very biased ratings. Gave a company one star and was asked for evidence of a booking. Provided booking confirmation but still my review was removed as it fell outside guidelines.”

“IF you can afford to wait for your watch go into jewellers where you will be charged approx £20 less than these cowboys. NEVER AGAIN they don't even need to pay the high prices that a shop would pay as they are in these little shakes. £80 for battery and could not even give the strap a quick polish they keep smiling while ripping you off.”

“Trustpilot alongside of Set TV have in just a matter of 4 days brought a 49% 1 star ratings up to 49% 5 star ratings. Trustpilot and Set TV have just started 4 days ago to even go back and post like they care. In other words they (Set TV) have typed in support staff comments like they care and also trustpilot allowed the same to even say that post were from re-sellers and haters!. Trustpilot and Set TV are a joke, they are untrustworthy to even have a reviews and ratings site. I know because I am the one who alongside a few others have been taking notes and watching this. Don't believe me? There will be more proof. I just want all to know that trustpilot is a joke and they cannot be trusted to be a review and ratings site!”

“I do use Trustpilot quite often, but have noticed that a lot of people seem to use the platform to scream abuse at companies they have a grievance with. Most of the time the grievance is simply that things did not go exactly as planned and they can't handle real life! I take the reviews on Trustpilot with a pinch of salt, I really just check it out as part of research when using a new company, so I know what sort of issues crop up a lot. I have never been asked by a company to leave a trustpilot review, I set my profile up myself and am very honest in my reviews.”

“How can you trust a review platform which is paid by the companies you are reviewing? Answer... you can't. It's clear where Trustpilot's loyalties lie. Companies deliberately play the system by asking you to leave feedback immediately after your purchase but before you have had the chance to experience the delivery or quality. When this goes wrong then the negative reviews get taken off using a myriad of excuses - 'it's a fake review'; 'the (crap) service doesn't relate to us but our carrier'; 'it's not out fault your insurance claim was rejected - it's down to the underwriter,... etc etc. Trustpilot is unfortunately fast becoming a scammers' charter.”

“I used to like Trust Pilot. I only write positive reviews and only use companies with positive ones. I heard about Purple Bricks and because their Trust Pilot rating was so high I used them. Regretted it. Lost me so much money and time. So I shared that on Trust Pilot. Immediately my review was removed because Purple Bricks complained it was 'bogus'. Trust Pilot asked me for proof. The burden of proof was on me, not on the accuser. So I sent them my invoice within minutes. No response. Days passed. No response. Had to hound their tech support team to get someone to respond. Eventually someone wrote me and said I needed to provide proof for my review. Proof, like, say, the invoice I'd already sent? So I sent it again. No response. This is how Trust Pilot help paying customers (companies) silence critical views by non-paying customers (consumers). Fundamentally broken business model which can lead consumers to trust services they should not. I no longer trust Trust Pilot.”

“I can go here and warn others of a bad experience or a good one.Like everything the final decision is up to the consumer. But it greatly helps to have another look from someone else.Most companies only show the good report and that is the first flag that should be an indication of them.”

“The reviews are not all genuine the company i checked had one review per hour, thousands of 5 star reviews, I foolishly believed the company was good and it wasn't. Then I read google reviews and I was horrified to see many 1 star reviews and no 5 star reviews!”

“I am afraid company failed completely would not recommend at all. Failed to deiver all fronts to delover . Sales people a rip off Selling items and charging not required No Management understanding Reporting to OFFCOM In Legal hand now Note; If this denied by company I am they are in self denial”
