TrustPilot has no intention of proviing customer likemyself a "REAL" review of some of their affiliated websites. For example, Justfly.com is a terrible company that has bad practices, and policies. I gave a heartfelt review and because I referred to Justfly.com, as justfuckoff.com, they refuse to post my review on their meaningless website. Freedom of speech, anyone?

TrustPilot as a review site is a complete joke. They except nothing except glowing, positive reviews. Even when you can demonstrate 100% proof from a company's own website that said company is lying about what they offer, they still will not accept a review pointing out such discrepancies. If you want to see a bunch of shill "reviews", go to TrustPilot. If you want to see REAL reviews, go somewhere else.

Turns out you cannot trust "TRUSTPILOT" it is a pais side for review that will only accept positive feedbacks and even if you show proof that you are right! DO NOT TRUST THEIR LOGO ON OTHER WEBSITES! They are not legit! They are paid to keep company reviews high!

Posted a review regarding appalling service from a company (have photographic evidence/witnesses). Within ten minutes review was removed/suppressed! Just goes to prove that Trustpilot reviews can only be positive. This will surely backfire as if only good reviews are shown and a company gives appalling service Trustpilot could be held responsible and possibly liable for any compensation due to the aggrieved customer? Just a thought.

Completely biased towards positive reviews. I posted a negative review about a company that must be paying Trustpilot to ensure any negative review is removed. They have already sent me 5 emails requesting me to modify the review to not have negative words. I have done it once and again but I suppose they will not stop until my negative review ends up being a good one after a tone of revisions. I will never trust Trustpilot anymore.

Would seem to me that TrustPilot are biased towards positive reviews. I had posted several positive experiences on Trust Pilot however the first negative review I was hound by trust pilot to prove that I was a verified customer. I was told to provide them with evidence of such, I supplied when with account information, screen shots emails from the company concern as well as a recipient for the services, none of these would be accepted by trust pilot. They said they would remove the said review. I told them to close my account with them because the review could not be relied upon to be unbiased.

I sent a negative review about a company I've been dealing with, I was told it was fake, dispite sending proof that it was not, they then said I had two profiles (news to me) so they had to delete my accounts & all previous reviews. FIX why waste my time reviewing when the review site is crooked ?

As others state - companies drive the reviews. I posted a negative review - was told it was defamatory (HOW?) I took the trouble to rewrite, and even sent proof of the statements they said were defamatory - i.e. that the company under review had said I was trying to renege on a deal, which was stated in the company response posted on the site. Again Trustpilot rejected. It exists, it seems, only so the companies who pay them can show a high TP score on their website. Treat TrustPilot as an advertising site, not a review forum...Neil

The TRUSTPILOT is not actually TRUST. They only work with the businesses who pays them money to keep 5 star rating. If someone wants to leave a bad review for the company, it will get removed. So don't trust TRUST*PILOT.

When you purchase from a company who lets you down, you think you can post your negative experience on Trustpilot...wrong! Trustpilot are not trustworthy...they should be called Trustlesspilot Companies pay Trustlesspilot to be on their site to verify that reviews are from genuine customers, but when poor companies let you down and you leave a negative review, they ask Trustlesspilot to remove the review, either because they say you are not a verified customer, or they say it is defamatory. A loophole used by Trustlesspilot is companies don't send any confirmation, so you cannot verify yourself as a genuine customer, and would you believe Trustesspilot don't accept emails from a poor company that has let you down as proof, even though the email shows the company is admitting fault. Trustlesspilot are deliberately removing negative reviews for poor companies to even their scores, it is trickery! I am contacting Watchdog and other consumer programs in hope they will expose this blatant siding with the companies who pay them, and leave the customer out of pocket and without their say. Please others report Trustlesspilot for this insidious behaviour, they are not doing the job they say they set out to do, they are biased towards the paying companies who use them.

Trustpilot look after the big companies and money talks. For example my parcel reviews 9.1 out of 10 with Trustpilot and google reviews are poor how is this? Other example Keytek locksmiths Trustpilot good other companies poor. Something not quite right never trust Trustpilot and get overall feedback from a few sights.

Trustpilot contacted me about a negative review I had left and stated that they believe it to be fake and asked for my proof of purchase. I sent this across and then two weeks later they contacted me to say my review is defamatory as it stated I had to contact trading standards? Repeatedly asked Trustpilot to explain what exactly is defamatory as stating I went to trading standards is a matter of fact. They cannot answer this and instead repeat that my review is defamatory. They try to cover up negative reviews of companies and their reviews are far from authentic. They will try every tactic in the book to try and find a way to remove your review Avoid

I received an unsolicited email and shortly after many calls to by Trustpilot from there sales department, then out of the blue a positive review appeared on the Trustpilot company page, and I was emailed and called many times again by what I can only say is an annoying hard sell of the super expensive system which you can get elsewhere for free. The review in my case did not match a sale and I can only assume this is an underhand sales tactic possible fraud. Eventually you then receive negative review on Trustpilot you never wanted to be listed on in the first place. Then guess what sales calls and emails again trying to get you to buy in to Trustpilot and it's now its going to cost you £2,000 to £10,000, my advice is use a free review centre or directory that providers the option to turn off the review service so you have some protection against malicious activity or competitor or in he this case protection from trust pilot. Trust pilot does not add that much value and is certainly not worth anything like that money they ask. If you have already signed up to Trustpilot inform them you wish to migrate you reviews to another review company which is free and close your account. They can not refuse by law. Speak to a solicitor if they refuse.

Trustpilot have excluded a review of mine, despite proof of purchase being given, because the purchase was over 12 months old. The company involved is engaged in a blatant whitewashing of their reviews and Trustpilot are only too happy to comply. I can no longer recommend using their service

I along with 27 others reviewed universalgadgets.co.uk over the past few weeks now 07/07/16 all negative about ug universalgadgets reported them and all where blanked out and in there place ug inserted glowing 4 * reviews complete with self promotion and one might describe as adds. I was SHOCKED at the behaviour of Trustpilot an utter disgraceful website and not at all trustworthy. I have first hand knowledge of their shenanigans as I have been visiting the site regularly perhaps they think people just review and forget and wont notice what is going on. Visit the site before they take down all the negative reviews mentioned above. TRUSTPILOT IS NOT IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY AVOID THEM sound bitter don't i. i am i thought i could trust them. What a fool am i.

I purchased some tee shirts from a local business to me. Received an email from the business a few weeks later asking if I minded reviewing on Trustpilot, which I have no problem in doing. Once I had, I have been and am still being questioned by Trustpilot about the purchase. Even though I sent them the email trail with the designs, send the list of emails between myself and the owner. Told them I collected them as the company is 3 miles away and I needed them urgently, yet they still refuse to publish my review. I paid the £20 but didn't keep the receipt so they won't accept my review. I will never review on Trustpilot again unfortunately for the local business that I would review.
