Every time I try to review a company on Trustpilot my review gets reported to Trustpilot. I edit and edit but it never get put up live. My wife reviewed the same company and again her review got reported and is no longer live. So this company dont get pretty much any negative reviews as they get them removed by Trustpilot. Even when I said I have the documents to back up my review it still got removed. So Trustpilot should be renamed as FAKEpilot

I'm a trust pilot customer unfortunately the service they other is criminally poor . I have issues that need addressing and I'm unable to contact them. They allow libelous statements to be posted harming our sales and therefore putting 250 jobs at risk.

They have deleted my bad review because it has "offended" the reviewed company. Censorship in it's finest.

Trustpilot are allowing rating reviews that are posted to obtain financial gain as already stated by Alpha one week ago. I have emailed Trustpilot who do not appear to care. The energy company I am objecting to is Bulb, who reward existing customers with £50 every time a customer uses their review code. Nearly every 5 star review is more intent on promoting that code although Bulb have said including a code is against their terms and conditions. However they tried to have my review removed within a couple of hours because I posted my thoughts on the matter. Trustpilot need to include a strict set of terms and conditions to stop all reviews that include any possible financial gain and use of this as paid advertising. I now ignore Trustpilot reviews as they are worthless. I will however say they did not remove my review from Bulb Energy.

Never wanted my business on there. Customer service is awful. They delete positive reviews. They make you pay to have positive reviews. Its not helpful just a waste of time. Customer service person verbally abused me then threatened me. I am seeking legal advice. I would never trust trustpilot.

Do NOT believe their reviews! Companies pay trustpilot.com to give them a high ranking. I recently posted a one-star review about a company and trustpilot.com keeps pulling it saying there is an "issue".

This company sells their ratings to the companies they are supposed to help us consumers avoid. Im a business owner and have numerous 5 star reviews. I had a dissatisfied customer and they left a 2 star review on trust pilot. Trust pilot contacted me and asked if I wanted to delete this review for a fee. Thats not the point of letting consumers look into a company they are going to work with. There is NO TRUST in Trust pilot they are just selling reviews to companies. Its a scam and dont believe what you read on their site. Its a total SCAM!!!

I left a negative feedback about a third party (www.1stdibs.com) some months ago. Now, I've just received an email from Trustpilot to let me know they have removed that feedback. I've just checked the reviews about 1stdibs on Trustpilot, and, suddenly, from a poor reputation (2 stars/5) they suddenly went to 4 stars : but there are plenty of new very positive feedbacks that have come the last days: it's raining stars! Although usually there are only a couple per months. Seems suspicious!

This is what happens when you get tough with trustpilot about fake reviews Quality & Compliance (Trustpilot) Jun 19, 18:57 CEST Hello I am sorry to hear that you do not have confidence in the trust and transparency that we at Trustpilot worked very hard to build and maintain. But if you truly believe we are allowing our own guidelines to be contravened, I'm unsure as to how we can assist. We look at a number of factors when evaluating reviews and take action accordingly. I appreciate you may have notified us of reviews and seen no action taken - this would probably indicate that we haven't yet investigate the review, or that our findings/evaluation don't match your assumption about the review. You're free to proceed as you deem necessary - please note section 12 of our guidelines with regards to perceived threat or demands toward Trustpilot. Best regards Chris

Allow fake reviews. Very suspicious that they have companies on there with a 1 star rating who then suddenly have all 5 days from 1000's of reviews where the reviewer has only left one review a week later! Really great idea but it seems all they want is money from brands who they then help to scam reviews

I took out emergency cover for 3 retal properties last month . First payment came out on 8/6/18 for all 3 properties. Than again they charged me same amount for the properties on 13/6/18. On email contact they say i have to call to sort it out . When i call to have resolved i have been thrown piller to post and asked to call another no and warned there is 13 people ahead of me . I was told if i feel frustrated i can cancel on that no where i am 13 in the que. with no out come I am also waiting for refund of £159 for last 21 days as well . They said they will charge me for any work done within 1 month of buying the policy. I was able to find someone to do the job in half the price , so i rang within 1 hour to cancel the the repairs . I am now told every time i request refund that i have to wait 5-10 days for refund for last 3 weeks now . They have not provided any services but charged me extra amount without agreeing to repay me back

. Don't believe everything you read on Trustpilot. In my honest opinion, Trustpilot cannot be trusted and their pilot is very much off-course. I have submitted several honest and accurate reviews - both positive and negative - (some of them quite long and taking quite a while to compile), about various UK companies only to have them removed without any meaningful explanation except the standard 'violating Trustpilot guidelines' excuse. I have tried in the past to contact Trustpilot for explanations but all I get is a standard ‘copy and paste’ meaningless response. After an excellent, trouble-free experience with one particular company, I gave them a glowing 5-star positive review on Trustpilot. I noticed that this company seemed to be suffering lots of very negative reviews - I couldn't understand why. Soon afterwards my review was removed. I emailed the company concerned with a copy of my review and to advise them that my positive review about it had been removed. The company could not understand why my review had been removed and advised me that they did not subscribe to Trustpilot's expensive, paid-for 'cherry-picking' scheme which allows companies to send emails to selected customers who are more likely to give positive reviews. In this case the customer can give a ‘one-click’ review – with no need to set up an account. These appear flagged as a ‘verified order’. This tells me that companies can achieve high ratings on Trustpilot merely by paying for them. Money talks. The company’s Trustpilot monitor contacted Trustpilot for an explanation – in a typical unprofessional and impersonal manner Trustpilot sent the company a standard 'copy & paste' reply. Meanwhile, the company asked me to resubmit my review, which I did, and this time my review stayed on the Trustpilot website – for 2 days – when again it was removed. This raises the question – how many other positive reviews for this company have been systematically removed for no reason? It is also interesting to note that: - 1) The reviews for Trustpilot on Trustpilot’s own website have achieved only a 61% positive rating. 2) Virtually all positive reviews for Trustpilot are flagged ‘verified order’ – i.e. they were invited to review. 3) Virtually all negative reviews for Trustpilot are NOT flagged ‘verified order’ – i.e. they were NOT invited to review. 4) Lots of positive reviews for Trustpilot look as though they are copied reviews for other companies and seem out of context - referring to products or services being sold – since Trustpilot does not sell products or provide services this doesn’t seem quite right. 5) Negative reviews appear for Trustpilot that highlight various anomalies in Trustpilot’s treatment of reviews – they really are worth reading. Now - being aware of this, I think it’s better to just not bother with reviewing on Trustpilot as it just seems to be a money-making scam and reviews for a company are not necessarily an honest representation of the company’s true standing. .

Informed Trustpilot that milk&more were fixing their reviews by targeting off line customers with a leaflet drop trying to boost their star rating for the on-line store, there by manipulating and miss-informing the public. Nothing was done and they are still posting new weighted reviews no questions asked. Trustpilot are bad for not putting a stop to it, Milk&more are getting away with it

I have found TrustPilot as a company and its staff, as a result of its culture, lacking in ethics and aggressive. It is unfortunate that it was one of the first to provide a review service, as this has given it higher rankings in results. I receive constant calls from TrustPilot employees asking me to sign up for and pay for its service. Everytime I explain that I used their service and found them to be unethical and left - and please remove me from their call list. Yet, I continue to receive calls from them hounding me to sign up. With respect to our business listing on TrustPilot, we have only ever had one negative review yet our trust score and rating is given "average". This despite every single other rating being "5 stars". This causes us endless problems as clients searching for reviews will find trustpilot first due to its higher rankings on google. They ask us why there is an "average" rating - and I have to explain that I have no idea and they can read all the reviews/ ratings from more independent platforms - and even the ones on TrustPilot - if you read the reviews/ ratings on the page it's impossible to understand why they've trashed our rating. My only conclusion is that they have somehow penalized us in their system because we won't sign up and pay them (for basically nothing) an extortionate amount. This company should be investigated for malpractice/ defamation/ libel and slander - I would happily support legal action against them.

Wrote a review on Truspilot for a piece of furniture that I had bought which was removed by its "advanced, customized software". It appears that they are pretty good at removing authentic reviews but not so efficient at correcting their mistakes.
