“A lot of people are being scammed by relying on Trustpilot reviews. Take CCX Capital and GFC INvestments as examples. CCX Capital disappeared without a trace taking £millions of investors money. Each time anyone placed a negative review, the company asked Trustpilot to take it down for one reason or another, which Trustpilot did. GFC Investments have lots of negative reviews but if you look at most of them, they are people advertising fake services to help recover your money from a scam company, at a cost. Truspilot ignores that they put up their email addresses and phone numbers”

“Wrote a legitimate bad review on a company, Trustpilot decided they didn’t like it and because the company the review was made about wasn’t happy with a negative review, they deleted ALL our reviews gold & bad from our profile. Went to review another company just now, and Trustpilot has automatically taken it down. This site is a scam. It does not reflect the honest reviews that should be allowed to post. Used to think it was a valued outlet, now can see they’re nothing but scammers themselves and not a legitimate company either. They’ve taken away people’s basic human rights to have a voice, an opinion, and divulge the truth to others (good & bad). Trading Standards are already invoked on the bad experience with the company in question, now we have to let them know that Trustpilot is a scam too. Don’t bother wasting your time writing anything as they’re selective to say the least.”

“Who can you trust these days? You complain about a bad experience with a company that is defrauding people, the owner of the business reports our review and we end up having our reviews removed for breaching the trustpilot rules. We can’t say we’ve been defrauded, we can’t use the owner’s name... then the owner goes there and places fake positive reviews and no one from trustpilot cares. I just wanted to speak with someone that cares. We are trying to do the right thing and trustpilot should be trustworthy and efficient. They don’t seem to want to do their job!”

“De har slæbt en ny iværksætter i retten Så starter krigen og det ikke mig der skyldig. Jeg er et lille nystartet firma og har ikke så mange penge . Jeg fik vildledende oplysninger fra start af. blev aldrig oplyst om deres Free plan . Men derimod fik jeg en bon på 30.000kr Penge jeg ikke havde . Og var ved at konkurs begære mig selv i frygt for de tager mit hus og alt hvad jeg har. Nu slæber de mig hele vejen i retten . I kan finde mig via mit firma navn Jensitech. Og jeg hedder Simon så kan i gætte jer til min mail. Jeg opfordre alle til at boycotte det falske medie som trustpilot er blevet . Tænk at et dansk firma dræber små iværsætter virkomheder på den måde her . Sagen er Fremlagt for Politiken og kontanten . Så fra nu af venter jeg bare på mere kød på sagen . . Tak For jeres tid . Og håbet om at ny startede firmaer ikke kvajer sig som jeg gjorde . Plus at de sletter de dårlige anmeldelser fra deres side. Det er i modstrid med loven.”

“When I complained about bad service of booking company - extra charge for baggage - not mentioned at all at the time of booking - TRUSTPILOT has removed my review as it was hurting "TRUSTED company" ....Seems that it is a very bad site - and that they get paid by companies to keep them high ranked”

“Trust Pilot seem to be unable to prevent companies from a total GUNG HO approach in reporting in order to remove reports they don’t like, check out OutFox the Market, on a daily basis they are report a vast proportion of negative reviews. The other thing is it does not Appear to respond to reviews for their own company. Your ratings are not a great example to present to prospecting customers.”

“Be aware - There is no option to downgrade your plan as your business changes. I feel taken advantage of after having been made to sign a 1 year contract for review services. Even with our business struggling due to the economic downturn, they say it doesn't matter to them. You'd think they'd at least let you downgrade your service and keep a good customer for life. At the end of my 1 year contract I'm not giving them any more money.”

“Bad and unacceptable experience don't sign your bussiness and use premium services you will regret !!! Lazy people not willing to help or do the proper work !!! ... It appears, that it is official policy at TrustPilot to be untrustworthy. ! They have given us all permission to make things up completely, and they seem to have promised not to remove any of it.”

“A couple of years ago I wrote to Trustpilot of an appalling series of treatment from Harvey’s Furniture. It did not stay on view for very long and Harvey’s now quote Trustpilot in very friendly terms. Just looked at some reviews of Harvey’s and they were all glowing reports. How can that be in rfpgard to an organisation that treated me abominably? You must be in cahoots. No more Harvey’s, no more Trustpilot for me. The trust is just not there.”

“I had a great customer experience with National Car in Kingston, Jamaica and wrote a very positive and substantive review on Trustpilot on 1/2/2019. Within Minutes, I received an email from Trustpilot Compliance stating: ----------------------------------------------------------------- "As part of Trustpilot’s efforts to ensure that reviews always reflect genuine buying or service experiences, we use advanced, customized software to detect unusual review patterns. Your review of atlautomotive.com (I guess this is the local National Car Rental parent company) has been flagged by our software or our Compliance Team because we’ve been unable to verify the authenticity of it. That means we’ve removed your review from our platform. Note that it’s not deleted, but it’s no longer visible online and won’t count towards the rating of atlautomotive.com. If you believe that there has been a misunderstanding, you’re welcome to contact our Compliance Team by replying to this email. We’re always happy to help." --------------------------------------------------------------------- I immediately responded to their email letting them know that the review was indeed authentic. No response. I followed up on 1/4 - no response. I followed up on 1/10 and informed them that if I didn't hear from someone within 24 hours, I would find a way to review THEM. The 24 hours is up - NO RESPONSE. How can an organization be counted upon to provide effective reviews on a company's customer satisfaction when they don't even respond to inquiries from THEIR company. I am totally frustrated with them and their lack of follow up. By the way, the service at National Car Rental in Jamaica is AWESOME - particularly Christina and Shane!”
