UberEats is a despicable company. My food came stone cold and UberEats was happy to take my money, but do NOTHING about the poor delivery when I complained. Their customer service is also extremely poor - they didn’t treat me like a human being throughout the complaints process, and continued to try and fob me off. Do yourself a favour and use Deliveroo or JustEat - they treat you as a human being and deliver excellent customer service. I would give UberEats minus 5 stars if I could. Shame on them!

I ordered baked goods for a grandmother, staying at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The driver called me and hung up after 5 seconds. The delivery was made to a park bench outside of the building. The order was stolen. The hospital staff said that the Uber Eats drivers dump food orders outside of the hospital, and a friend of theirs then steals the food. From this one order, I was stolen of money and food that was going to a hospital patient.

I am so DONE with UberEats Seriously should’ve been done with UberEats after they charged me for a full order when I purchased B1G1 items from a restaurant. But after not receiving my lunch today at work and then being told that I can’t even receive a refund 🤬 even though my driver literally ignored my delivery instructions and stole my food. When I place an order to my job I specify to come into the building and hand me my order as I am a teacher and cannot leave my classroom to go get my food from a delivery person, I’ve had breakfast delivered to my work on 2 separate occasions and never was there an issue until today, this guy literally took a picture of my work building from the parking lot still in his car & then marked my order as delivered after calling me ONCE….”Customer Support” refuses to give me a refund claiming that the driver tried to contact me, however he also didn’t leave it in a safe location which is one of Ubers “policies” and I tried calling him 6x with no answer, I’m so freaking through with them and I for damn sure going to dispute this theft with my bank.

I had ordered some food and the restaurant told the driver that they did not have the order that they accepted. So when I was told to cancel said order I was charged for a majority of the amount. and when I got in touch with customer service representative Rohan, he said that there was nothing they could do. So in short I am without the food I ordered and the money I spent.

The order was 3 hours late! I spent almost £50 on the order and because it was so late, the recipient had already left work and therefore didn't receive the order. There was no option for contacting them. It was extremely hard to get in contact with anyone. But when I did, they said they'd give me £9 uber credit and then dismissed me! I tried to talk to them again about it but they essentially said "well we already gave you a refund so I can't do anything more" and dismissed me again trying to close the case. But this is not a refund. This is a tiny store credit compared to the £50 that they never game to me. Absolute scammers.

Ordered food waited for over an hour , delivery driver denied to follow instructions to deliver at door in an apartment unit. And she took food back. Delivery person was really rude and bluntly said no she can’t deliver to door. Shared screenshots with Uber and they refunded the amount ajd that’s it. They won’t investigate or stop this person from doing this to other. This is so unprofessional and this is what Uber is going on now. Turning a blind side towards customer service and zero quality. Really need a competitor for this company , it’s really taking advantage of its monopoly

Never again. Was a long time customer and they would not help me when I needed to cancel an order. Had issues before but didn't complain even tho the yrefunded me like $10 on a party order when they didn't even refund the biggest part (the pizza) and only delivered a salad and a side. The order was 60+ dollars

I ordered 5 meals and included a 15% tip. They only delivered 1 meal. That was annoying enough. After about an hour they did refund 4 meals but charged me a 15% tip on the whole order. When I complained they did not refund tip. It’s unethical to charge a tip on food that was not delivered. I feel like I have been robbed. I would never use the service again.

This is a horrible and a scam app. The cancellation process is so long that I had to pay for something I didn’t want because it took too long to cancel. They don’t allow customers to cancel online. It has to go through live chat, which takes 20 minutes. I ordered from a different restaurant and they are showing order in process since last 6 hours. I have no idea where my order is. No call or message from the driver. The app is so bad in terms of navigation and use. Both my orders I didn’t receive and still paid. This is a scam app. Please use DoorDash or Grubhub.

I am constantly being charged for items not received. Uber refuses to refund for missing items. I spend about $1,000/month thru UE. Had 3 orders out of the last 4 with missing items but was charged for them anyway. This week alone it comes to $38! UE is making a fortune on denying refund claims that are legit. I am going to report them to Amex. I have deleted my account!

Uber eats are some thieves. My food was stolen by a driver and I cannot get my money back. I'm gonna find out who to talk to about filing a lawsuit against those thieves.

The UberEats chat support SUCKS. The agents end chats prematurely without explanation or pass you around to their “specialized customer support team,” which is code word for passing you off to another agent. My experience with Rhic, Gerlie, Bienvenido, Gerald, Jack, Sarina and Kaidar Singh have been far from pleasant and could seriously use a customer support refresher training. The door dash customer support team is WAY better at addressing concerns, providing explanations or solutions and ensuring customers are satisfied (whatever the outcome may be).

I didn't think anything was wrong until I had to cancel my order and couple seconds after I noticed I ordered something different. I thought they would refund 16 dollars out of 20 when the screen showed me the receipt to cancel. I would not have canceled if they would not refund it. I asked 3 different customer service if it's possible to continue the order if you can't refund. Lol they keep responding they can't refund me and ask the merchant so I returned to ask them where did the money go Uber or the merchant and they keep responding the same thing that they can't refund. Seriously? I think Uber Eats just wants to keep my money. Where's the remaining 4 dollars? You gonna keep it too? What a money hungry company. How hard is it to refund when I didn't get the food and canceled a few seconds after ordering. At least continue the order if you can't refund. Now no food or money, just save your time and money and get a car 😡

This is the worst company I ever experienced. They charged you which you did not order and which you did not receive it. All the hidden charges they are making money. I am going to uninstall this app. And guys whoever had it uninstall it before its too late for you.

You send promos on e mail “claim and save “ 40 % off a 30$ or more order. Well promos do not go to the app on my account, you tell them and they say oh just contact after you order and we will refund you. Well they don’t , they say they can cancel a promo at anytime. This is false advertising and they need to be reported. I googled this and loads have the same problem .

Stay away from Uber eats they will charge you for anything you do or not do they should feel a shame of themselves I was charged for something that I didn’t even cancel the order because it representative was disrespectful and he aspired out me literally canceled the order on purpose I can be charged for it and everything else Uber you’re a horrible and you should feel shame of yourselfstay away from them

Driver canceled my order with no explanation. I can only assume that 15% gratuity was not enough. Needless to say there will never be another uber eats order from me, and your ride services will only be used in an emergency

They stole my money. It gave me 4 seconds to accept the order and as i glanced at the wrong address, it accepted my order. Then i immediately cancelled in less than a minute and they charged me $41 cancellation. I called, spoke to three people including a supervisor , they all refused to give me my stolen money back because the restaurant accepted my order instantly!!! Even a travel ticket can be cancelled in 24 hrs. I don’t have 24 seconds to cancel. B.S I will get my money back one way or another. This is theft. I canceled my membership and will never use that app again. My advice is use other apps. Customer service are overseas unprofessional people who has no authority to correct a problem - victor 319-5123730
