UberEats refusing to refund orders that are prepared incorrectly is an absurd policy. You’re a company that exists solely to facilitate transactions between customers and restaurants, yet you take zero responsibility when something goes wrong. If a restaurant gets an order completely wrong, UberEats still keeps the customer’s money and shrugs it off as “not our problem.” Why would anyone continue using a service that refuses to stand behind the transactions it profits from? Customers work hard for their money, and expecting them to just accept incorrect orders while you continue partnering with restaurants that make repeated mistakes is unacceptable. If you’re going to take a cut of every order, you should also take responsibility when those orders are wrong.

I placed my order at 8:00 AM and paid an additional $3.99 for priority/fast delivery. Unfortunately, my order was delayed and I still had not received it even close to the expected delivery time. When I contacted the driver, he informed me that he was completing another delivery first and would pick up my order afterward. This clearly shows the delay was not because my food wasn’t ready, but because a driver had not been assigned in time. I requested a refund for the $3.99 priority delivery fee since the faster service I paid for was not provided. However, customer support stated they had until 9:30 AM to deliver the order. At the time of the conversation it was already 9:17 AM and the order had still not arrived, which defeats the purpose of paying extra for priority delivery. This is very disappointing, especially because I order through Uber Eats frequently. If customers pay extra for faster delivery, that service should actually be honored. Very frustrating experience.

Absolutely terrible company. No customer support or care for when orders are missing or incorrect. Do not advise using. Took 2 days for them to acknowledge a request about a missing order to tell me they can’t issue a refund. Absolute dogshit.

Very late meal due to the driver getting multiple orders to deliver. Food was in the drivers car for over an hour and was inedible due to the amount of time it was left out of refrigeration. Customer service was bad and only compensated $9.19 for an order over $40 that we had to throw away. Worst customer service ever.

Awful customer service. Ordered food said it would take 45 minutes to be delivered which I thought was long.. A hour and a half later decided to cancel. Would not refund my food. Total scam artist. Never again

As an UberEats driver, I do not like how UberEats treat us. They give us multiple orders, sometimes a hot order and a cold order at the same time from 2 different places. How are we supposed to keep their food at optimal freshness? And our pay is minimal, less than $1 for each km driven. I have to drive from one city to the next for $7 worth, is not even worth it. And I have done almost 50 deliveries now, only 3 people have tipped me, whereas another food delivery company pays me $30 in tips for only 7 deliveries.

Right after I placed my order the restaurant called to let me know they were out of one item. Rather than substitute something, I said just delete it from my order. Uber Eats denied my request & referred me to the restaurant. The restaurant was also denied. The restaurant offered me a credit on my next visit, because Uber Eats kept my money too. I'm done with Uber Eats, but will continue to patronize the restaurant.

might have worst delivery drivers!!! took 2 hrs for food i never got. they cant even drop food off at the right location. demanded a refund and took the delivery driver tip back(not deserving of the tip) through support. will never use uber services again soon as they send my full order refund! its bad when a person who never writes reviews have to write one due to poor handling from folks YALL hire!! DOORDASH IS BETTER

Horrible experience… will never use Uber eats again and highly recommend other not to use. Worst customer service. Food come to you cold and and 30 minutes later than what priority time states. Deleting Uber eats and never using it again!

Uber eats was offering buy one get one free with Charlie’s deli in Portland Oregon for 1795. When I check out order comes out to $60. This is the fifth time this has happened. Have contacted attorney and notified news agents

For a $43 order, both the product quality and customer support were underwhelming. The initial agent closed the chat without resolving the issue, and follow up support declined escalation despite clear concerns. The final resolution did not feel proportionate to the situation.

Uber is such a scam. When you pay for expedited direct delivery you still get shafted and won’t get food delivered for hours. They will keep pushing your delivery window back
