My order was not delivered to my door. The photo they took of my food was clearly at someone else’s door. I showed them a photo of my address with my red door to compare to the green door that they delivered it to they insisted they delivered it correctly. I spoke to three reps. They would not credit me back even with the photo that they sent showing their own failure. They would not let me on with a supervisor. Each rep ended the call even though I was perfectly civil. They told me a could write them. Who? Where? No food, no money, no supervisor, no process. Horrible service. App deleted

I placed an pickup order. Based on.the option i did choose wrong, but it's confusing. When I went to pick it up it was not what I wanted, though that's what I ordered. The Pic will show what I thought I was ordering vs what I received. Because it's a pick up Uber will not issue a full refund on food I didn't leave with. Plus, I did an immediate order from a restaurant that I knew would prepare my food properly. I'm deleting Uber and NEVER going back to that particular spot!

I've used Uber for over a year. I have also been paying for Uber one. Several times my order has been late or cooked and sitting at the restaurant getting cold and soggy. Today, I paid $78 plus my Uber one fee for food I could barely eat. Uber refused to make any reimbursement what so ever. I have canceled my membership and now I will be using a different service. I could go on for hours, but this is sufficient.

Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Stolen Orders and Customer Service Issues Dear UberEATS Support Team, I am writing to formally express my frustration with your service, particularly regarding repeated instances of my orders being stolen by drivers. This has happened three or four times, and each time, the resolution process has been unnecessarily complicated and ineffective. One of the biggest pain points is your lack of phone support, forcing customers to navigate an AI bot before even reaching a live agent. When I do get an agent, the process is deeply flawed. For example, in a recent incident, the first driver assigned to pick up my order arrived at the restaurant only to be informed that someone else had already taken the order. This is almost always the person who stole the food, yet they send a message claiming another individual took it before they arrived. When I reached out to your support team, I was informed that UberEATS could not cancel the order on their end and that I would need to contact the assigned driver and have them report the issue. This is completely unreasonable. By the time I realize my order was stolen, I no longer have access to that driver’s contact information. Why is it the customer's responsibility to chase down an UberEATS employee for verification? Shouldn’t your team be contacting the driver and the restaurant directly to resolve the issue? To make matters worse, this level of service is unacceptable when compared to your competitors. DoorDash, for example, provides 24-hour phone support, ensuring customers can immediately speak with a live person. Their resolution process is seamless, offering one of the following three solutions: 1. A full refund to the original form of payment (processed within a few days). 2. An instant DoorDash credit so the customer can place another order immediately. 3. A free redelivery if the restaurant is open, with the order remade at no additional cost. Additionally, DoorDash often provides extra compensation in the form of credits or discounts, ensuring customer satisfaction. While occasional issues arise, they handle them quickly, efficiently, and with an emphasis on customer service—without forcing users through bots or convoluted processes. Unfortunately, UberEATS does not provide this level of care, and as a result, I am officially discontinuing my use of your service in favor of platforms that prioritize customers. I urge you to re-evaluate your customer service model and implement necessary improvements, including: • Live phone support with 24-hour availability. • A streamlined resolution process that does not require customers to track down drivers. • Proactive verification procedures with direct communication between UberEATS agents, drivers, and restaurants. Until these changes are made, I cannot justify continuing to use UberEATS and will encourage others to switch to alternatives that offer superior customer service. I hope this complaint is taken seriously, and I look forward to your response regarding how UberEATS plans to address these issues moving forward. Sincerely, Aaron McNeil

I canceled my order because they wanted to replace my items with something I didn’t want and it said I will get a full refund put my phone away and all of a sudden the drivers almost at my house and I can no longer cancel it 10-15 minutes after i did

I wish I could rate this zero stars. I found mold in my food and Uber is refusing to give me a refund. It was a pantry item so it sat in my cabinet for a little over a week before I opened it, but the expiration date said 7/26. I'm never using this service again. They also left me on delivered through the customer service chat and I had to find a number to call them by to try to get a response and they told me they couldn't do anything...ridiculous.

The Uber driver stole my co-workers order for us. When she called they refused to make it right and hung up on her. So none of us got to eat lunch on a 12 hour shift. I'll never use them again or order at a restaurant that uses them.

I've only used Uber eats 2x in my life and neither time was it a good experience. The delivery driver did their job but the restaurant messed up, the order not verified, missing items and then ubers customer service refuses to refund the money back to my card but instead gives me Uber credit.... PROBLEM ... I dont give people 3 opportunities to screw me over. I have NO intentions of using Uber ever again, so they get my $10 for doing nothing

Ordered pizzas. After an hour of waiting, I texted the delivery person enquiring about my order. He replied that he had picked up the order by mistake. He then told me to cancel my order so it could be reassigned to another delivery person. I did not cancel it but called the store who informed me that the delivery guy had picked up my order just to return it in a few minutes, saying that the customer had canceled it- what a big lie! There after , I picked up the order myself came home and noticed on the ubereats app that the order had been delivered successfully by the delivery guy!!! Another big lie. I have been trying multiple times to contact customer service and have been told to 1. Not worry 2. Login to some weird account- one I don’t have 3. Send an email- to some address-to be told that this address does not exist 4. My issue has been resolved-total lie 4. Sent an email from Uber telling me I won’t be refunded as my problem does not warrant it. Extremely horrible experience. There is no real customer service. Will never order on Ubereats again.

I ordered a pizza but it never arrived. The driver lied and said she attempted to reach out to me but I never received a call or text. When I requested a refund customer support claimed they couldn't do anything.

Uber eats need to start disciplining the drivers that steal food it's constantly happening and nothing's being done about it it comes to the customers who have to argue with the stores and the good drivers who have to deal with the consequences in the end if Uber would just punish the ones that would steal the food I just had it happen to me right now I use Uber really often and it's getting really tiring to where I'm going to stop using them it's been hundreds of dollars on Uber a year but it's got me thinking twice about it

Ordered a half chicken half steak burrito bowl with lettuce, tomato and cheese. There was no chicken in my burrito bowl and no lettuce. They gave me a $2.27 refund. Chicken at chipotle starts at seven dollars and then the customer service said they couldn’t do anything about it because there was already a refund in process. I don’t understand how you can offer customers $2.27 and not offer that for the missing item that they had paid for. I’m so over using Uber eats because their customer service is horrible. I canceled my Uber one membership.

I got the wrong delivery, someone else order. I’ve been going around customer service for hours, got refund for my groceries but not all the attached charges. I’m charged $20.78 for an incompetent delivery driver, who had, I assume, his kid tagging along. Very unprofessional!! I’m a senior with poor vision and only one eye, I’m in a wheelchair. Very very poor service. I’ll find a different way of getting my Safeway groceries. Any suggestions out there? Kate B
