Disgraceful customer service On Saturday 13th April 2024 I placed a KFC order for delivery via uber eats. I booked a time slot for 6 to 6.30pm as a surprise for my two children. The surprise was on me though as no delivery arrived. I called KFC to find out what had gone wrong, they said get in touch with uber eats. In the mean time I reordered another KFC to be delivered by just eat...which they completed extremely well zero issues. I have tried chasing uber eats for a refund of £26.19. As I recieved no food. I contacted them on 3 occasions explaining.. but their response was awful...saying they won't refund as apparently their driver followed policy. I don't know how the driver followed their policy as zero delivery occurred...I recieved no phonecalls and nobody came to my door. This was the first time that I used uber eats...and I can guarantee that it will be my last !!! Disgraceful customer service...I am livid to be honest. Be careful using uber eats...as their refund policy is an utter joke... Date of experience: 13 April 2024

Every time I order from Uber eats there is always an issue and good luck on fixing the issues you have to struggle to get ahold of a customer service rep aka a computer to talk to via text.if you want to order without problems your best bet is to go to door dash!

I'm always missing items. I pay for a meal, that includes a drink. Never get it. Uber customers service says there isn't anything they can do about it. Recently I paid 9 bucks for a shake and never got it? Guess what? They couldn't do nothing about it because they asked for a picture of my missing iteam 4 days later.

Hicimos un pedido a Goiko. Cuando voy a comprobar el seguimiento del pedido me doy cuenta de que aparece como “pedido completado”. El pedido no había llegado y nos quedamos sin comida y sin dinero. Reclamé y me dieron un crédito para futuras compras en la app. Les dije que no estaba interesado en el crédito, que quería el reembolso. Es muy difícil contactar con ellos y reclamar irregularidades como estas.

Did you know Uber eats gives the restaurant an option to switch your order over to a different location? I didn’t until Burger King decided they didn’t want to fulfill my order, it was just one large fry, and so they transfer it to a location 35-40 minutes away. Once I realized this change I contacted support and they were not only no help but so rude. Instead of letting me cancel my order and get a refund, they wanted to charged me $5 and some change to cancel my order… it’s just a large fry. Each support I talked to just kept sending automated messages when I was supposed to be talking with a real person. And they kept ending the chat while I was still typing so had to keep requesting another chat. They all refused to let me chat with a supervisor and were not answering my questions, specifically as to why a restaurant is allowed to do that without asking. Waiting on the driver to get there to get it and then to come to me my fries would be cold. Also, I did not agree to let the restaurant transfer my order to a far away location.. this issue has made me delete my account with them and I will be telling every one in my family and close friends my experience and tell them to try DoorDash or something else. Absolute headache to deal with and such money hungry business.

Repeatedly let down by UberEats. Tonight a guy who was supposed to show up with $60 of sushi showed up an hour late with a slice of pizza in a box and spoke no English. Last week the restaurant, I went to pick up food from did not have my order. When I called the person on the phone was not helpful. UberEats is unreliable, poor customer service and has no quality control. Don’t ways your time or money with them. It’s not worth rolling the dice.

I used this every couple weeks when I have a few extra dollars. I'm disabled and on a fixed income so I can't charge things often. I realized I wouldn't have anybody here to help me answer the door in time, so I canceled that order. It was literally the second the order confirmed, I clicked cancel and it canceled. But the charge never reversed on my accout. So I gave it a couple days to reverse but they said since I didn't contact them within 48 hrs, I'm out of luck. Each time I explained something they gave me 3 different excuses for why they couldn't help me. Losing a customer over $11...

I’m a driver for Uber Eats. I have never seen so many ridiculous orders. 2 people 20 miles $8.60. The app clearly tells us how long the order should take. 45 minutes, this is just one of the many. I don’t know if the customers are not tipping, or Uber is taking the money, but nobody wins except for Uber. They allow customers to order 15-20 miles away, with no drivers to deliver. We can’t make money going that far. The customers don’t understand we don’t work for free, the base pay is 2.00. These companies are getting rich, and we’re struggling to put gas in our cars.

There was no order confirmation and no option to cancel the order. Support hung up on me after I asked a basic question. Overall UberEats is a pathetic shitshow of a company and I heavily advise not ordering through it.

missing drink. Uber did not refund my money despite paying for the drink that I did not receive. Additionally, when i spoke to customer service at Uber Eats to resolve this. I was informed that they would notify the restaurant. I can't believe that it is acceptable to pay for an item, not get the item, and not have anyone resolve this. This is theft!!!

I am putting one star just to write this review. I use Uber Eats on a regular basis. Until now. I ordered a pizza from a place in the wrong city. I went to cancel it on the site but I found no option. So, I called the pizza place and told them to cancel the pizza. He said I have to call Uber Eats. He knew I was going to cancel it. I immediately call Uber Eats. They refused to credit me after I explained the whole situation. I said I am a loyal customer and have never had an issue. It didn’t matter. I told the supervisor that I will NEVER use Uber Eats again. Sometimes it’s not even about the money; it’s about the principle and fairness. I’m done with them for good.

The must stupid customer service I ever talked to. They don't resolve any issues. They contacted from one to other one so they waste your time. I will advise all the restaurant owners to cancel their service from Uber eats. After multiple attempts to update my banking information they still tell the same stupid accused that yah we can't change anything. So they don't let you change it and they don't help change it they are so stupid.

After being a member of Uber and UberEats for years I am so disappointed. My food has been arriving different of what I order and every time I go to the help tab I am told the order looks correct. Along with a picture proving it’s not correct. Are you saying I went and made my order in the back of a restaurant, handed it to the delivery driver and followed them to my house for them to deliver it to me? That’s exactly what you are saying when you cannot resolve a missing item or even the wrong item. I guess it’s alright with Uber corporations because I will not be spending my money through Uber anymore. No one should spend money through Uber really, it’s become such a ripoff with pricing and customer service. Let’s take our money to actual people who actually care!

Absolutely horrible service! I suggest you guys do grubhub or DoorDash! Uber eats is a joke! They can take hours, they constantly switch delivery drivers until one takes the order, and if your order is wrong or unsatisfactory, they will send you through hell to get any kind of refund, or no refund at all! They did me like this 3 times, and 3 strikes your out!!!!!

Got accepted as a driver just to have my account deactivated 12 hours later for "fraudulent documents" I don't even know what's fraudulent about MY insurance and MY Drivers license 😒 thought it was dumb as hell the other 4 platforms I drive for had no issues with my documentation but good old uber eats. I had issues ordering from them awhile back I should of known it wouldn't be any different trying to work for them.

Lady called ask for pin said forgot it it. I told you didn’t delivered to me. She said I’ll go back get it and bring back to you. But you said you delivered to me. Plus was in her car over hour I was watching on map. This is very unprofessional
