I ordered from Uber Eats last Sunday from Dave’s Hot Chicken, and the experience was honestly awful. Somehow two identical orders went through on my Uber account and my Venmo. As soon as I noticed it, I canceled the second order immediately — literally within minutes. Uber Eats refused to remove the duplicate charge, claiming the kitchen had already started cooking it. But if that were true, I should have received both meals. I only received the first order, which I paid $71 for, plus the delivery fee and tip. Instead, I was charged an additional $50 for a second meal that never arrived. I tried calling the restaurant, and no one answered. I contacted Uber Eats, and they dismissed everything I explained, even when I provided proof. They offered no help at all. What makes this even more frustrating is that Uber Eats doesn’t even give customers a real place to leave a review about their service. After this experience, it feels like they don’t care about customers at all. I feel completely ripped

Uber eats is the food delivery company in Lindsay. They did two two times scams with me. There is not any way call them and complain it. With my first order of almost $40 they said you will get refund but, I have got anything and when I complain again they said it’s more than 48 hours. Yes because worst company with worst customer service are not responding. Second time they cancel my order and charge me half of its value. And I was waiting for my food. And their permanent excuse they can’t do anything. I will never use Uber eats again and even not let my friends to use it.

GARBAGE service! They over charge and take your money! I ordered 40$ including tip and LITERALLY seconds after submitting the order as I’m looking at the progress I canceled it immediately as I was sending it to my home instead of work. They kept the money and wouldn’t place my order again to redirect or to simply send back to the original location if I was going to be at a loss, they claimed the restaurant accepted the order and was processing which is SOOOO False and impossible time wise. Had it been a while I get it but not at all. To top off I ordered premade juices that come in bottles, not freshly squeezed items. Completely robbed and I learned my lesson for sure! Never again. They kept all my money!

drivers prefer other gigs in compare to other gigs thtz what my delivery driver told me when my order was 5 hours late. Cancellation fees is very high and refunds are minimum.

my order for dinner was canceled by uber eats driver, he took the delivery task for my order first, and canceled it without any notification. so we waited for our order for 2hours and got nothing. if I can choose zero star in the rating , I will defintlely give uber eats 0 star.

DONT DO IT!!! I used them for the first time tonight. I’m at work, I ordered Starbucks, the driver needed up on Main Street in an entire other city instead of the Main Street in my city. How that happens I can only imagine the ignorant driver accepted the first Main Street she saw and don’t double check the city or zip code. She dropped it off on a city sidewalk and snapped a pic. She was supposed to get “a PIN number” but I never even got to see her face. I messaged her she ignored my text I called every time they picked up they hung up, customer said said give up 24 hours we will see this looks like a glitch. I may or may not receive my refund I won’t be eating at work tonight so that sucks!!! If you have to use a food dashing system at use DoorDash….at least the will take care of you on the spot. I tried Uber eats for the first time free trial to see the pricing difference, they are actually more expensive in that regard. Don’t use under eats. Bad first impression!!!!

I have been a DD member for years and decided to try Ubereats. Within the first week I placed an order that to my surprise was accepted or given to someone on a bicycle. After picking up the food it took him 32 minutes to ride 8 miles vs a car at 8-10 minutes. He rode up with my food swinging from the handlebars in the open cold air. So, the food was cold, soggy and worthless. They only base the delivery on an entire allotted time and not just how long it takes after the food was picked up. So if they allow an hour and your food is picked up within say 10 minutes then they have 50 minutes to ride around with your food and it’s still considered delivered on time. My food was NOT delivered in a timely manner once picked up. Needless to say I canceled my membership within the first week.

Drivers cancel all the time. Food takes so long and you always get a bot answer help questions. Worst app ever!!

Uber does not care about customers concerns. I’ve had two bad experiences back to back. 03/21/2026 I ordered a 3 piece meal from Popeyes and the delivery guy brought a half of my items. I told him I need a complete order and he claimed that he got my order and didn’t know something was missing. The receipt is in plain sight so why not check. He left with what was left of the order. That bag seemed as if it was tampered with. Now I reached out to uber and they feel like I must lose my money and not get my order. There’s no one to assist you when these lying dishonest delivery personnel tamper with your stuff. I’m done with uber. I’m sorry I couldn’t have given this a no star.

Here in Toronto Just waited over 1 1/2 hrs for roasted chicken and ice cream order. By the time the order arrived, the chicken was cod and coagulated and the ice cream was melting. After a long back and forth with customer service, I was only able to retrieve the cost of the ice cream. $5.75 on $47 bill.

Uber eats is the most unlikable industry to work for they send you hundred orders before you drop the one you are ready have sometimes a lot of times they don’t let you find the address because of sending orders nonstop they don’t care if the food gets cold and such they canceled my Uber eats because of cancellation no thank you

If I could give Uber eats no stars I would. They and their drivers do not care about the customer experience at all. I've ordered multiple times and always get my food cold . Will never order from them again.

What a trash app. Gave me a promotion, but could never get it to apply to the restaurant I was ordering from. And when I tried to get help on a livechat was just kept waiting for half an hour before I gave up and just made myself a sandwich at home

Terrible customer service!!! UberEats false advertises their delivery time. 10 minutes turns into 1 hour or more! Cancellations and refunds are nonexistent. Worst food delivery app!

Awful company. Driver stole the food according to restaurant and another uber driver. She was the 4th dispatched. 2 hours later I ordered by phone and picked up myself. Met 4th driver who said this happens another.

My Mom order through the app and the driver scammed her from her money. And stole our family of 6’s food. After she claimed that she was “new to this” and didn’t know her duties as a delivery driver. I am utterly disgusted and disappointed that people are so greedy to steal food from people and families and feel good about it. I will never understand why.

If you’re delivering go with DoorDash. Uber Eats sets you up for failure. Penalized you because their GPS takes you to a road that no longer exist. I reported a road closure during the storm and a tree fell down across the road. No one was getting by. I got a late drop off penalty and their gps again doesn’t update for you so you have to figure out your own way. They’ve sent me further south to a BK when I was at one just to come pass back by the area I was in to go further north. Customer and Drivers support is absolute garbage. I reported the dead stop road earlier and it wasn’t going to make “expected time” spoke with someone and they said I would be good and it wouldn’t count towards my percentages as it was recorded and he “updated” the expected time. Which was a lie. I’ll show a pic of them trying to send me south when I was right near a BK for them to send me back up past the area I was in.
